Last I had heard, the Crystal XI report server needs to be installed
on a Windows Server box for crystal reports to be made available over
the web.
You would also need a Mid-tier installed on the windows Server box.
The mid-tier config guide has section dedicated to get Crystal XI /
BOXI working
Has anyone gotten this to work?
We were trying Crystal 10 but gave up on that due to security issues
with shared file systems, etc.
Crystal XI is supposed to work differently according to the
documentation but the jury is still out on whether or not this actually
works.
