If you are simply upgrading your server to v6 (or above)
simply go to SupportWeb and choose License File Upgrade. Attach your
existing license file and send it.You will receive an email with a file
that has both your existing v5 keys and the new v6 keys in it. Put

Iam only migrating the application to another server. So
the problem may be that the license is associated with the old mac
addrress...

You have to execute a purge agreement, which can be found
on the BMC support web - if you have support. The instructions and what you need
to do are there as well. I think it is under the licensing link on the left, but
can't say for sure.
