Can OOTB AM module handle refunds (i.e. negative Unit Prices)?

All ~ our Purchasing department needs to add line items in the Asset Management module for refunds (negative unit prices) or free services (unit price of 0). Is this something that the OOTB module can handle or do I need to customize? It doesn't appear that I can do this, but I don't know if
