Dear Listers,
I have a situation where I have an existing AR Server instance running on W2K3
SP2 and a need to point this server alternatively to two DB instances on Oracle
10gR2 in a Linux cluster.
Anyone know how to change the TWO_TASK setting on an ongoing basis alternating
between two
You could set up two config files with the alternating TWO_TASK settings. Then
schedule a job that would copy the appropriate file over the config file. The
job would also need to cycle the server to read the new config.

Re: Pointing existing AR Server to another Oracle DB InstanceThanks for the
suggestion Dave.
BTW, Which config file are you referring to where the TWO_TASK setting that
needs to be changed?

Recently, there has been another thread on this list that has discussed

That would depend on your operating system. On Windows it's ar.cfg. I think
on Solaris it was ar.conf.

Doug,
Would really appreciate some ARSSSO functionality and support as well..
Is this going to happen ?
There is no current Tomcat / Solaris ARSSO support.
There is ability to ARSSO someone who actually has a password in the system,
only those who are LDAP authenticated.
