I had all my important stuff backed up. I was not backing up my SOFTCOPY
directory due to the size and the fact that I can always get most of it
back from the original site. Since I started this thread, I went back to
an older PC and pulled my SOFTCOPY directory off it. I am now going to
back up some of these larger directories every so often to a backpack
disk.

I have a cron backup procedure that runs everyday and backs up to my
personal NAS. The directories excluded were specifically excluded. Of
course, those decisions may not have been the best. :-(

I back up everything to a USB thumb drive. I used to have a friend keep every
other backup for off site storage, but due to COVID I keep them at home now.

They're not fast, but they're dirt cheap, so you can afford multiple

Does anyone know of a site that has John Ehrman's macro source in ready to
download form from his Assembler 2.0 book? Namely $$GENIO?
Thanks for your help.

2015-02-09 Thread Farley, Peter x23353
Many, many thanks to both Marist and of course to John. This is a tremendous
work and will no doubt become one of our go-to resources.

Peter

P.S. - Can anyone at Marist help John create a PDF Table of Contents with
hyperlinked page numbers? That would be very useful in such a large document.
And also help him complete the Index (PDF pages 47-48, document pages 11 and
12), which seems to be a bit underdone.

something since the number of pages is so low. ;-D
