I just applied the new ASSP update ASSP Version: 1.9.9(14032). Now I noticed
ASSP will just shutdown after a few minutes. I am able to start it back up.
This has been going on now for about an hour after applying the update.

All of a sudden my block reporting has stopped working. If I send a block
report request the email just hangs in my mail client outbox until it times
out. This was working before this past weekend. I am using the latest ASSP

It took some time trying to stopped these spam emails from coming

You should look at the ASSP menu called Block Reporting it will do what you
want. If you already have the latest 1.9 ASSP version it should be available
for you.

On mine I have it setup under the ASSP menu (Block Reporting) if a user
suspects his/her email is caught in the spam filter they can send an email to
bloc...@example.com. ASSP then sends a summary of all the emails which were
blocked for their email address. At this point the user scans the repo

Expression to Identify Non-Spam* (whiteRe)" to get this done.

I too get this kind of brute force attacks against my sasl authentication.
Rather than put each offending IP address into ASSP deny smtp I use fail2ban to
stop it. I use Debian which has a package for fail2ban easy enough to install
and setup.

I have ran ASSP for two months on testmode before unchecking all
testmode settings including message scoring. I now have it running with
prepend subject enable as [SPAM]. I have also enabled in cron to run the
following commands every midnight:
