Greetings everyone,
I have a Digium TDM400P card with both an FXO and FXS module to connect to
the phone company and to a standard phone. The problem is that the volume of
my voice is going out too loud.
I tried lowering the txgain value in zapata.conf to compensate, but all
audio drops out
as low as -18 without any problem, but I never tried
anything with decimal points.

Greetings,
Is it possible to create a conditional IF inside extensions.conf based on the source IP address of a SIP phone (as opposed to extension)? What I would like to do is the following:
1. IfSIP phone IP belongs to 192.168.0.0/24 subnet, set CALLERID=
2. Else, set CALLERID=
Thanks
John,

Is couple used instead of two anywhere else? You use it for day andminute. Is it ever used for year, month, hour, or second?
For year, it should be couple in front of the

Steve,
You're right.Things seem to flow naturally when you don't think about it too much. But when it comes to defining a set ofrulesto determine what to say and when, it's so easy to miss (at least for me) until you actually listen to the result. :-)

Noah,
I've encountered the same problem (same negative timestamp log
messages, and garbled audio). The last version of CVS HEAD that worked
on my system without any problems was July 4...

Philip,
The IP300 and IP500 phones both do indeed work with the add-on PoE
cable. That is the configuration we use.

When I go to Directory() inside extensions.conf, I can set the
dial-context and change the search option to be for first name instead
of last by passing the appropriate options.
How does one configure the directory inside voicemail to do the same
thing (usedirectory=yes inside voicemail.conf).
I am able to transfer a call to call parking using '#' without any
problems since I have the 't' option in my Dial() line. However, if no
one picks up the call after it has been parked and a timeout occurs
(such that the call is returned back to the original extension), the
call is no longer
