Has anyone else experienced trouble recieving callerid from asterisk on an
Apple iPhone? Outgoing calls from one of our Asterisk PRI's always show as
Unknown on the iPhone. All other calls to the phone show the callerID

I have made a little progress with this problem today, but am still looking
for suggestions as to what could be wrong:
Rebooting the phone (by the keypad, or by removing power) will
not cause it to re-register, nor will stopping asterisk and
restarting it.

For the last few months we have intermittently been experiencing some very
strange registration problems with certain polycom phones.
Here is some background information:
I have about 150 Polycom Soundpoint IP 600s, 601s, and 650s spread between 8
servers at different locations. Each phone is on

I have a number of IP600s and 601s
Polycom IP501. So do you set each line to register with the
same info then? Also, does this allow for two phones to have
the same extension number and both get the call? If so then I
must have something else wrong because like I had written,
only one phone rings if two are configured for

Sorry to re-post this... I sent the last one from a mobile T-Mobile account

I have 2 Dell 18xx servers (at different locations) connected to the PSTN

I am familiar with zttest, avoiding interrupt sharing,
mucking with ACPI,
making sure DMA is on, etc... I have a list of
Just to clarify, the frame slips are on the T1 circuit which
is delivering your PRI service.
That is correct.
If you are correctly adjusting your timing leaving to match
the recevieved timing from the CO there will be no slips. I

I have no clear idea how many people actually use my software for fairly
high volumes. There are now clearly many thousands successfully using it
for modest levels of faxing. I have heard from a few people doing rather
higher volumes than you. Other people have problem - I mean genuine
Now I'm worried - we have exactly the same problem, but were going to
upgrade to 1.2. Now it seems as if CVS-HEAD has the same issue.
We have a TE405P, with 80 cisco7960 phones connected to a isdn30 pri. The

This post looks like it could pertain to the same problem:
I am currently testing a new Asterisk installation. The server has a T100P
connected to a PRI, and about 50 Polycom IP600 phones connected via the
local network. Every couple hours, Asterisk randomly stops responding to
all calls, both incoming on the PRI and calls from the SIP phones. I'm
I am also looking for some more detailed information on the cababilities of
the Polycom 600's microbrowser. I have almost 100 of the IP600's deployed,
but have just now found the time to start seriously experimenting with the
microbrowser. I have no problem displaying xhtml and using the
Anybody using hardware echo cancelers a PRI at a time ?
What did you use ? How much did they cost ? Where'd you get em.
After searching for what felt like forever, I finally found a single PRI

India. I installed my
I am getting ready to experiment with the Tellabs

If anyone has a suggestion on how I might be able to track down exactly what
is happening to the hints, I would love to hear it!

Well, thank you to Tor for the SetGroup/Checkgroup config. It works
well! (Thanks to John for the contexts/dialplan version, too).
Unfortunately, the phone doesn't audibly ring when the second call is
coming in (just a visual prompt), and you have to press the line
appearance button, and
