Thanks for that Rich. Etheral trace is going to be almost impossible for various reasons, but will try the other two options. Can't find much online re. debugging - any chance of killing the box by turning this on? SIP show channels and the various CAPI show commands do not show

Can't help but wonder if this isn't a bug in Asterisk or one of it's modules, as there seems to be a lot of people experiencing the same problem, seemingly with different hardware and software configurations. Anyone know how (or if it's possible) to submit a bug report to Digium
