[asterisk-users] Call queue problem
Hi all, We have an 8 agent support desk setup with 2 call queues running Asterisk 1.4.5. Every so often agents will receive a call from the queue that only rings once not allowing them time to answer. The call doesn't seem to be dropped, just seems to go to voicemail. The agents are also mentioning they do not receive the 30 second wrapuptime I have specified in queues.conf. We're using polycom 501 phones and I'm adding agents to the queues using Addqueuemember(). I believe I have the call limits and limitonpeer settings right in sip.conf. The only difference between the two queues is one has a higher weight. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. [asterisk-users] Zaptel update trouble
Hi all, When I try to update zaptel to 1.4.3 or 1.4.4 it seems to hang the server at loading zap hardware modules. I can install 1.4.2.1 and it will load OK at startup although I have to run ..zaptel-source/xpp/utils/genzaptelconf -u before rebooting the server or I run into trouble on shutdown. I tried removing all zaptel related entries from modprobe.conf and reinstalling but the problem remains. I didn't seem to have this problem with the initial install of zaptel-1.4.0. I'm running CentOS 4.5 if it helps. We're using a TE212P card with one PRI connection. RE: [asterisk-users] RE: TDM2400 Hardware Echo Cancel
I'm having the same crackle/static issue. Seems more noticeable on outbound calls over inbound ones. I'm running a TDM2400 with 7 FXO lines currently in use. Card is on it's own IRQ, Athlon 3200 processor, Nvidia chipset. It's somewhat intermittent - much like my zttest results - I'm not sure if they are related or not. -Nick ___ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[asterisk-users] Dell Server Question
Hi all, We're planning an Asterisk implementation consisting of two SC1425 Dell Servers using Digium T1 cards and SATA drives. The problem I'm having is the only PCI slot shares an IRQ with the SATA controller. Any altering of one device's IRQ takes the other device's IRQ with it in lockstep. I've disabled all non-essential integrated devices with no change. I'm a little worried about call quality if I can't resolve this IRQ sharing issue. So I'm wondering a few things... 1. Am I missing something with regard to the IRQ configuration? 2. Should I trust in the motherboard's APIC and quit worrying? 3. Assuming there is no solution to (1), is anyone else running a similiar setup with no call quality concerns? Thanks!
