One of two things is happening (In my opinion)
1. You aren't pointing to the right place
Or
2. The language variable isn't getting set , so Asterisk gets lost.
The CLI output with verbose 5 would tell you this.

to in the UK roll about on the floor laughing when they first hear her in
the Voicemail prompt, telling you to leave a message ).

Hello all,
I have someone working for me who has a nice phone voice. I looked at
some available prompts for asterisk, and found both the free and
commercial ones to be pretty horrible. The asterisk ones are good, but
I wish I had more to choose from sometimes.
My question is, what do you think,
Repost, first one never made it to the list...

Is there a text description of each sound file available?
How can I easy listen to each sound file (except puting one by one into
Asterisk and make phone calls) ? My Asterisk server does not have sound
installed. However, I could link them to the web server and listen to
the sound files via www
Currently, the voice prompts are stored in GSM
format. Is there a way to play other formats, like WAV files? Or can we play the
GSM other than the current compressed format? Maybe a less compressed GSM format
(currently, isn't the GSM mode 8k voice)
