I've done.
In /etc/modprobe.conf remove all lines with references to ztcfg.
Then the only time ztcfg runs is from /etc/init/zaptel
When ever you remake zaptel the lines will be reinserted.

asterisk so that they re-register with all their peers.

On Mandrake and maybe others it looks for it's modules in the wrong
place but this fix works:-
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/zultys/kylix3/bin softphone
I've found it easier to edit the config file directly than use the menu
system all the time.

no problem. I have a problem with it not hanging up, but I
am sure this is software not hardware, as it only happens if voicemail
starts and the caller hangs up to exit, if they use # everything is OK.
