Leon, Any info on voip-info.org is outdated. Please refer to the www.astlinux.org website. In the 0.6.x branch, unionfs was introduced and does not require anything being changed to read-write mode. It DOES require you to configure a unionfs writable partition. All of that is documented on

I am having trouble making a kernel module change stick on reboot. My system gets a dhcp config during the boot process but then loads the wrong nic kernel module (8139too instead of sis900). The users guide at voip-info.org suggests editing /etc/rc.modules after remounting it rw. A reboot
