Bare Metal Pros:
- A known and reliable quantity.
- Simple architecture
- A router or firewall replacement
Bare Metal Cons:
- More expensive if a VM Host exists
- Redundancy is harder
VM Pros:
- Simple redundancy
- Simple deployment (can build a template)
- Ability to run
