Quick followup Michael, I suspect this is true with a VGA monitor as well, but if the VGA is not connected at boot it seems the box needs to be restarted with the VGA cable attached to use it. I have seen this on other boxes as well, though might be a quirk with my StarTech Crash Cart gizmo.
