Some would say small mSATA are easer to find than M.2 stuff.
You can order via AliExpress, adding 4 GB RAM and 32 GB SSD adds $ 48 USD
PC Engines offers 16 GB mSATA for under $ 20 USD

Testing Update,
I have been testing my Qotom Q190G4N-S07 and Michael Keuter has also purchased
the same and his arrived this week. Michael has been stress testing the Qotom
as well.

Michael, et al,
I discovered an inexpensive solution to get serial terminal access, though not
console per se.
By adding a simple udev rule and a action run script a person could use a
supported USB-serial adapter (FTDI, PL2303) to get a serial shell via getty.
I have this working on my Qotom
I too was surprised how efficient the Q190G4N-S07 runs, actually idles using
less power than the APU2 if the VGA port is not connected, about the same if
connected.
Indeed there is no mystery why this Qotom runs cool, a large heat sink
connected to the board which is in contact with a large the
Im sure it runs cooler because of the heat sink.

Interesting. This can be bought with quite a lot of memory. Maybe it is
time to change the default runnix to support hi memory so we can get access
to it. There also seems to be a version without wifi antenna connections,
but strangely that is slightly more expensive.
My APU2 is humming along q

Quick followup Michael, I suspect this is true with a VGA monitor as well, but
if the VGA is not connected at boot it seems the box needs to be restarted with
the VGA cable attached to use it.
I have seen this on other boxes as well, though might be a quirk with my
StarTech Crash Cart gizmo.

Hi Michael,
My Qotom Q190G4N-S07 is running 24/7 in my lab, if there is anything unusual
I'll report back here.
I'm thinking for production simply ignore the VGA console and use SSH or
HTTPS/CLI tab for shell access. Have a VGA monitor/keyboard in the lab for
initial setup.

Hi Lonnie
It looks great and I am looking forward to finding out how reliable it is.
Not having a serial port is very annoying though. Can you think of any options
for a console other than KVM?
I guess you can buy some cheap baby 7” monitors you can cart around with you.
