Run node A in AP mode, have nodes B,C and D connect to it. Do lots of site scans use chans 1,6,11 as needed. Don't use any encryption. Use openvpn or similar in UDP mode with multi cons up from each of B,C and D to A. This will give you IMHO the best hassle free results, with ath9k .
