OK. Not sure if I am understanding this right... but somehow the regular yum update ended up updating the kmdl to a 0.8.3 version but kept the lirc and lirc-lib at 0.8.2. I then manually upgraded to all 0.8.3 (except for the kmdl which I kept as-is) but now the lirc daemon crashes every

I just tried upgrading mythtv from 0.20.1 to 0.20.2 using 'yum update'. In addition to updating my 7 current myth-related files (which cumulatively take up a little under 17MB, yum wants to ADD an additional 65 rpms taking up an additional 64MB. This seems ABSURD!!! - Any idea what may be going
