Interesting.
First, there don't seem to be ANY updated fc6 drivers for ANY of the
kmdls for fc6 for the latest kernel 2.6.22.4-45.fc6. For me, this

Second, regarding nvidia 9631 vs.

Regarding lirc, I just noted that there is a new subdirectory called
lirc-0.8.3
- Why wasn't this just done as an automatic upgrade from 0.8.2 rather

regular yum update ended up updating the kmdl to a 0.8.3 version but
kept the lirc and lirc-lib at 0.8.2.
I then manually upgraded to all 0.8.3 (except for the kmdl which I
kept as-is) but now the lirc daemon crashes every

This should put the new kernel up for people using the latest nvidia driver.
I can upload for kernel-2.6.22.4-45.fc6.i686.rpm also, if there is some
interest on

I just tried upgrading mythtv from 0.20.1 to 0.20.2 using 'yum
update'. In addition to updating my 7 current myth-related files
(which cumulatively take up a little under 17MB, yum wants to ADD an
additional 65 rpms taking up an additional 64MB.
This seems ABSURD!!!
