Hi!
I observe a strange behaviour of evince when called from AUC-TeX which I
am unable to reproduce by calling evince directly. It just exits after
several seconds without any visible error message.
I used to know Emacs Lisp a little, but I'm unable to locate quickly the
relevant code.

I'm confused and annoyed by the following problem.
I have two documents with the identical structure: a short master file
inputs the actual text. The local variable blocks are analogical.
In one document C-c C-c in the included file works as intended. In the
second one it gives the message
