It would depend on if the game's alerts are coded to use iOS's alert notifications or are just modal dialogs the game creates.If it's the latter, at least I know they are modal and have to be dismissed before you can continue.

As I said before, I'm with Dark on this, in a text based game, sound effects might be a nice addition, but is by no means necessary. Look at it this way, would you want sound effects playing while you are reading a good book, if you're at all like me, the answer

Sounds are nice, but since I started my computer adventure game playing on an Apple 2 which only displayed the text for you to read with no sound at all, as long as the text descriptions are well written, sound isn't necessary.

That's why I simply try suspending JAWS for games written in BGT. For most games that don't try to detect my assistive technology and are either self voiced or use SAPI, it works with no problem. But even when suspended this game detects JAWS
