I looked into the speed thing and it looks like speed and pitch are locked together. so the sound would get slightly higher as it got faster, similar to pitch control on tape deck.

Yes. Español is more internationally used, but I refer to what I speak as castellano, to differentiate it from the people who live around me that speak español. (or more like espanglés) I speak the spanish as it is spoken in Spain.
