Well all that being said, looking at Orca's git repository's change log there seem to be some pretty significant rewrites happening; maybe I'll give it another go in a month or so and see how much better it is.

As I said I was just going by my observations of the OP's writing. I will point out however that it takes no time at all to capitalize the beginnings of sentences, and I'd hardly call that anything close to APA standards, I'm not sure where that comparison is

Starting with Windows 8 PAE is required for 32-bit processors; I had an older machine that wouldn't run anything past 7 because of this. But unless it's really old that probably won't be an issue.

Yeah IIRC for whatever reason you can't modify Speakup configuration parameters as a normal user (obviously the keyboard shortcuts still work) and you need to use sudo to do so.

What do you do for TTS on Chromevox? Last I checked Chrome (or at least Chromium) didn't work with speech dispatcher and you had to install the Google TTS from Google Play, which is impossible without sight.
