Well thanks for the explanation tom. This is really the problem with linux with so many distributions and ways of talking about them they do become rather impenitrable.the problem however generally is whatever system I choose to upgrade

Hi.Can you get other speech synthesizers besides ESpeak and Eloquence for Linux.The eSpeak I tried on Vinux was horrible, worse than the default NVDA ESpeak.As for eloquence, I hate it and will never ever use it again. I hope that
