Re: Creating Ringtones for iOS
@17 thanks man, good to know. I believe your iPhone appears in the sidebar in finder when using macOS 10.15. I am not entirely sure how going about transfering tones would go, but looking around in there I could probably figure it out. I'm not sure I really

Re: Creating Ringtones for iOS
Ok, this guide assumes that you've already created a ringtone using something like Goldwave or Reaper, (Goldwave is my personal preference), or have something of otherwise suitable length. I'm using Windows, so am coming at it from that angle, though most
Re: Creating Ringtones for iOS
I use Reaper to make my ringtones. Set the BPM to 240 so that way when I am at measure 30, it's 30 seconds in. then I chop, skew, cut, copy paste mix and master whatever I want, save it as an mp3, then use an online converter to convert from mp3 to M4R
Re: Creating Ringtones for iOS
I personaly use this thing, it is an online tool which is not the best in terms of customisation, but it does all the converting itself.https://mp3cutter.toolur.com/Btw, if you want a more simple way of putting tones on your phone, just open itunes, press
Re: Creating Ringtones for iOS
I am hoping the guide posted here soon, will be able to also translate to users of Catalina, since there is no ITunes for said OS anymore.

Re: Creating Ringtones for iOS
I take back what I said in post six, the tones folder can also be written to using garageband for iOS. It just seems somewhat ridiculous to download a 1 plus gigabyte app for just that reason. I would love to read your guide, @7. iTunes isn't terrible
Re: Creating Ringtones for iOS
It's bad, I agree. But not that inaccessible as it used to be.I mean, blinds so love whining, claiming it's inaccessible and stuff, but if we don't do anything, aka if we don't learn how to use anything, we won't get further.

Re: Creating Ringtones for iOS
Actually, you can do it without Itunes, but it requires a couple of extra steps. I wrote a guide for it, if there's interest, I can paste it here.

Re: Creating Ringtones for iOS
In order to write to the tones folder on your iPhone, you must use iTunes. After you have created your ringtone with audacity, you can open iTunes and ad it to your library by going to file/add file to library. Select your ringtone and press enter. To

Using the following video should help out in some respects, though someone may wish to ‘modify” the instructions here, to make the steps more ‘VoiceOver” friendly.https://youtu.be/NPza3LU_Gfg

Re: Creating Ringtones for iOS
They need to be in the M4A format, but the extension needs to be renamed to .m4r. To save them in this format with Audacity, choose M4A (AAC) Files when exporting audio, though you'll need to get FFmpeg for Audacity separately to encode files to M4A.

Hello,About a month ago, I happened to recieve a brand new iOS device as a gift from my parents. Of course, one of the first things I did after getting my hands on it was change practically every single option in the settings app. These adjustments included
