Re: Gaming headset on an hp laptop? If you still want to use the analogue connectors, you can buy very cheap 3.5 mm splitters.  These very small devices don't have any extra wires attached like some, they are a single small unit.  They have 2 3.5mm sockets on one end and a 3.5 mm plug

Re: Gaming headset on an hp laptop? You have to be careful though, because you need to get a splitter that supports mic and headphones. With out that, you will only be able to plug headphones into the splitter. If you tried plugging a 3.5 plug that supports a microphone in to the splitter
