That is true but never the less gopher is pretty accessible and I have seen sites made with and its really usible by screen readers. Well to each his own I guess.

Probably because not every server administrator sets up a gopher site.

So I'm just wondering why more of us are not using gopher sites.Gopher is a menu based system for transferring files. A normal gopher site resides on port 70. And the cool thing about gopher is you don't have to learn html. This is the description of gopher from Wikipedia.A
