Hi.Hmm yeah, good point. In fact I due hope that as you said, episode 8 is not a general fluff and romance movie.But to be quite honest, I think that after episode 6, they should have stopped making starwars films. Because come on, this is just to get more money

@Simba, I didnt' look at any teasers or anything before seeing the film, but to be honest that's not an excuse anyway. Even the most renowned action films you can think of, indiana jones, Terminator, robo cop (or at least the first one), had some sort of point

Hi.At dark ok, maybe the movie was differently teaserd in germany and the UK, because it was alredady announced tthat this is more of a war film and action flick than an actuall plot highlight.Greetings Moritz.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the new Trek movies either.It's similar with the Star Wars books though. they had to make it all tie in, and lucasfilm was in charge of the overall direction of the books so they are all at least easy enough to follow.

@Simba, I don't know what you mean by "teaser more action film" It certainly is part of the starwars plot since it leads directly into A new hope, though it isn't about the main starwars cast such as Luke, Han, etc. To be honest though that's not really

I have not seen Rogue 1 yet, and after The force Awakens I have no plans on seeing any more Star Wars movies. Apart from the fact that episode Vii was almost identical to A New Hope, I still can't get over the fact that they through out the last thirty years worth

Cursed child wasn't as bad, or at least not judging by the book, albeit it was more a love letter to harry potter than a serious continuation of the series. It worries me rather more with Starwars since it's all too easy to take everything good about starwars

George Lucas even said that the storye was supposed to end at episode six. After the empire is defeated and Anakin is brought to the light, that's it. No more story. He probably regrets seling it to Disney now. They seem to screw up everything they buy.

I haven't seen Rogue one, but I think you're right.They should have left the end at episode 6.All of these reboots and forcing the story to continue is a money making ploy.It's the same with Harry potter and the cursed child, I refuse to acknowledge

Well the main starwars story will continue with episode 8, though I confess after being a wee bit disappointed by rogue one, and slightly mildlier disappointed by episode 7 last year I'm not sure the trend is going well. My brother is really worried disney

I wish it picked up where the one last year did. I liked that one better this was just mostly alot of action.
