Same. I think it's bugged. When the installer is active, orca will not speak. If it isn't, orca will be able to speak.

Ubuntu mate 20.04 installation problems.
I tried to boot an image of ubuntu mate 20.04 lts from a usb thumbdrive but when I get orca activated all it says is installation as superuser and I can't do anything with it.Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug in the system?
