Hi, I dont think that I fully grasp what you guys are doing.Are you basically trying to reatch shortwave stations with radio scanners or what is that you are doing?And what is that device that daniel recommended and what is free scann?

Hi,I can recommend the Uniden BCD396XT, as that is what I am using.You are able to control it with freescan which can also speak ID tags so you know what you are listening to.It's a great scanner and has surved me well...If you have any questions

Hi daniel.I have on and off wanted some sort of usable radio scanner to scan all stations, from shortwave to marine, boat, aircraft, military and others.Sadly, I havn't found things that worked, I did use to have a rather large scanner
