First available prototype of a gta5 accessible trainer:For immediate release:Global Developer Network I am happy to announce that as of jan 11 2017 8:37 pm cst, the first ever gta5 trainer with speech feedback support has been released for public testing.Programmer Ethin probst and myself, gamer Devin Gutierrez have tested this trainer extensively, and despite limitations in the script hook library that nearly prevented us from achieving our goal, I am proud to announce that native trainer VI, based on the native trainer by alexander blade, has been released.Notes: uses tolk library for speech output, so some tolk files must be in the game directory, (included with the package. note that this trainer's feature-set is limited, due to inability to find simple trainer sourcecode. you may attempt to use this in combination with the simple trainer, however it is not recommended due to possible conflicts in the memory addresses edited by the trainers

ok, i'm going to throw this out there. in simple terms, what the hell. ok, i have downloaded the package. now what. there aren't any instructions or info. i mean, for example. where do i get said game? IE, steam? or another format? i'd love to play with this, but right now, i'm more stumped than anything. i'm guessing it's a matter of running it along side the game itself, but these days, there's so many ways of getting games, i need to know how i should obtain it. and at the cost i'm seeing, i sure as hell don't want to get the wrong one!

While I respect people that may find such virtual companions to be useful, if it actually was intended as a replacement for a romantic partner, that thought is mildly chilling. Especially since in the end, the bot has no feelings for you, and doesn't actually care; it is simply pretending to. If I had a son or daughter that had one of these, I wouldn't stop them, however I would inform them of the reality.

When I say combat in sc not working, I mean that the targeting commands never seemed to work. I would type "lock direction" and be told something random about no lock there or the like, really it just didn't work as advertised. And yes, combat is spammy if I'm being constantly told "a computer voice says so and so" and again if I cannot actually play without rewriting the hole client myselfmyself. Why the hell the developers can't just have a low spam combat mode option I'm not sure. I really am sorry since there was so much in sc I did like, the world, the activities etc, even salvage seemed fairly interesting given that what you salvaged was a bit less than random, you could actually get npc quests to do salvage missions and running the ship was slightly more fun than just typing the same thing over and over again, plus I loved! the idea of exploring in the game. Again though, the spammy combat and how dam unforg
 iving the game was once I lost at combat just seemed unreasonable to me.Perhaps someone should post an article in the articles room with a link to a working soundpack if it's so completely necessary to play and the developers are being so arsy.

What I like about this particular kickstarter is that the goal seems reasonable. Too often I've seen kickstarters with a goal of tens of thousands, and people in the accessible games community just don't have the cash. I did play a very early rough alpha version of the game a couple of years ago, and I can say the idea behind this one is definitely what we've been looking for in game terms. I'm not sure if the graphics will come off, not being how complex and expensive creating graphics that would appeal to a sighted gamer is, but we'll certainly see. I don't know if I'll be able to contribute to this one myself, being as I'm rather lacking in the cash department right now, but I'll certainly see if I can before the campaign runs out.Oh, and btw, congrats on your first news slj, thumbs up from me.

Moderation! New releases room is for releases of accessible games. This seems to be a cheat program for Gta, which, while it makes the game easier, doesn't sound like it makes the game completely accessible. Therefore I'm moving this topic to general game discussion.Oh, and this is nothing against the program or anyone who might want to use it, I hope anyone who tries it has fun, it's just not exactly what this part of the forum is for.Btw, these things can be fun. I used to have great fun playing the low vision accessible super starwars games on the snes and using the debug menu to do some very nutty things, like playing Wicket the Ewok throughout the entire game, including fights with the emperor and darth vader, (actually he wrocked since all of the emperor's lightning went over his head), or having Han solo with a thermal blaster be able to exact some sweet revenge on jaba the hut. I also liked playing Luke with light
  saber right the way through starwars, or having Chubaka blast out the jawas on the sand crawler.So, hope people enjoy the program.

I am personally looking forward to Starmourn. As for Stellar Aeon, I wonder if Dentin is really working on it anymore. The last time I was on an alpha build, it was very dull and boring, and I think Alter Aeon takes up all of his time. I've done a few quests on this game before. They were quite interesting, although how far are players allowed to go in order to help with specifics? I'm getting stuck with the Frandum quests that others just seem to blaze through. So, often times while I request this game, and Frandum is actually the game I've been looking for for a while, and I've just gotten back into it, I have trouble with quests I shouldn't have. I had to get help with that number quest in the house, for example. Even after being told what it was, the order was a bit scrambled in my head, even when I try to put the sequence of events in order in my head again.Even though I'm talking about a different game with a large quest focus, Frandum will probably be the same for me. I'm pretty sure I quit last time because I had trouble with one of the quests in that cave where you first start. The first quest I came accross, anyway.I'll probably try again, since I
 39;m getting bored of constant grinding all the time.

@paddyWelcome on board and hopefully you'll solve the problem to take off and enjoy looking down on geographical maps around you. Once you reach the required takeoff speed you hit 12x arrow down, check T speaking the ankle of the nose and if it's from 12 to 15 hit Z to check your height and if you're flying up hit ctrl+f and ctrl+g to turn off flats and gear and wait until Eurofly announces the success of this operation.@burak and @GiovaniWill tell it to Stefan if you haven't done so.@xkill851. We're sorry but this was declined by the community as too chatting thing.2. There were some suggestions there like that as you'll be able to change the arrow of variables in definition ini file for braille display such as height, speed etc. So yeah it's under way so let's wait until Stefan is done with fixing some major issues reported.@shellmanYou can pick up another plane in its category not any bigger

well, currently the toggles don't speak due to problems we're trying to sort out. this is made harder due to ethins lack of working knowledge of the interface gta uses to talk to the script.A trainer is basically a script injected into memory that acts as a sort of cheat menu, think the technoshock cheat menu in gta.

ok, i'm going to throw this out there. in simple terms, what the hell. ok, i have downloaded the package. now what. there aren't any instructions or info. i mean, for example. where do i get said game? IE, steam? or another format? i'd love to play with this, but right now, i'm more stumped than anything. i'm guessing it's a matter of running it along side the game itself, but these days, there's so many ways of getting games, i need to know how i should obtain it. and at the cost i'm seeing, i sure as hell don't want to get the wrong one!

I guess the question is does your stopover support the  chosen Aircraft?So you can take a cat 2 airplane to a cat 2 stopover and then change to a cat 3  if the final destination is cat 3, etc etc. I'm not going to look up this particular instance, but basically the only variables that need to be fulfilled are:passangers - this only Counts  when you're landing on your final destination actuallystopovers, doesn't matter what order you do them in.required Points, same goes here with order - or shall we say lack of order.and don't enter the prohibbited states.@tapin actually the take of angle is between 10 to 20 . Hay Yukio, I'm trying the attempt to save in shift-jis like I said earlier.This line appears in briefing5.俺は、ビルの地下に閉じ込められてしまったんだ。        I was trapped in the basement of the building.But it's not being translated by the game at all.I'm trying to figure out if this is because of a problem on your end; EG, the line is not in the game's translation program; or if I can't coppy the line into my clipboard correctly.As far as I'm understanding it as of now, I can press C on my keyboard to coppy the last line spoken to the clipboard.This should give me something to paste into a text editer so I can correct the line in the file.I tried doing just that and pasting the result in to notepad plus plus after selecting shif-jis as my character set and ancy as my encoding.All other lines work correctly, so I must be doing something right.However, the line in question still appears as gibberish, even if I run the game using app locale.Do I need to install a Japanese faunt or something?I still wish to do this correctly to provide a good translation for all, but I'm afraid I'm currently stuck.In other news, I did manage to correct the translations for 5-1 to 5-3 as well as 6-2 and briefings 7 and 17, so I can still upload those after I run them through the game to make sure they sound okay in the proper context.Later!

Greetings, puny earthlings, ahem I mean humans. Seriously can't I just say fello earthlings or something like that? Ahem. Ship buying is now operational. When you order a ship, you can give it a name like before. It clones it from the ship classes, sets up the proper asociated areas and docks it to the shipyard your at, you'll need to head for an airlock afterwards that has the ship docked to it and board it that way. Improving the tractor beam module, you now need a spacesuit to utalize it. However, a suit can have the option of a tractor beam or not, and its stats can varry such as how fast it'll move objects and what range the tractor beam can have. Once you undock from the station with your ship you can explore your current starsystem. For the moment, ships varry in top speed and sensor range as shown in the ordering a ship menu, but I can easily implement more stats layter on.

I used to have great fun playing the low vision accessible super starwars games on the snes and using the debug menu to do some very nutty things, like playing Wicket the Ewok throughout the entire game, including fights with the emperor and darth vader, or having Han solo with a thermal blaster be able to exact some sweet revenge on jaba the hut. So, hope people enjoy the program.

busy? If you are a GM on a MUD you are supposed to be there lol. I have been on MUDs where there are no staff around when you need them, believe me. But from this, I just idk man I just ugh!This is what I feel like is happening, they are losing interest, getting bored of it. They need an infusion of fresh blood, people who can be PR people like deal with players and their issues, and coders who can bring a lot more efficient code to the table. I don't know about builders yet because I haven't got that far. It seems when you leave into the wilderness everything you do makes you hungry at such an incredible rate that you got to be careful, like ration yourself on activities. Like really? OK I find that a little beyond what would be classified as realism. Now sure if you are chopping trees and such, then yeah you're gonna get fatigued and eventually, since you're burning calories, you'll get hungry quicker than you would had you been sitting in front of the f
 ire, drinking beer. Just walking around saps your strength, and its like frrhrhhrrhrgerlerhrhrrlerhrhrhrlrhrlrhrlrhrhrherhrerherherhrhrhrhrhr?Imagine you always wanted a Ferrari, and you found one sitting along the road saying free. It looks in mint condition, its gleaming in the sun in that Ferrari red that catches your eye, you see the prancing pony emblem, the Perelli tires look fully inflated and in good shape, but when you open the door, oh my god do things change. The first thing you notice is the torn seat, you immediately spot the foam in the huge rips. You sit down anyway, and you look around, the windshield has a spiderweb crack in it, the leather on the steering wheel is abraded, ripped and torn in places. You see fast food cups and bags and trash of all sorts on the floor. Oh, but its a Ferrari, this can all be fixed, right? You spot the key hanging out of the ignition, and the dread you were feeling recedes into a back corner of your mind, and you get that excite
 ment again, that anticipation. You check the gearbox is out of gear and you turn the key on so that the power is now on. A few lights light up, you hear a sickly sound coming from somewhere that sounds like the door bonger has a hangover, but hey its a Ferrari right? You now feel a mix of emotions, that cold dread is creeping back in, but you just got to know so you put your foot on the brake, which goes right to the floor with little resistance, and turn the key. Nothing happens, except the door bonger sounds a little more hung over. You try again and wait, hang on a sec, something's happening, after a few moments, the engine gives a pathetically weak lurch and coughs and splutters into life. Now you don't know how to feel, you have a knot in your stomach, but a chill in your spine, you look around and spot more chaos, a broken vanity mirror that the light in it doesn't work, the vent grill on one of the A/C vents is gone, the glovebox is hanging open, and the latch 
 is missing. The engine isn't sounding too happy either, its producing an odd shudder, making the whole car bounce back and forth. You open the hood and step out, as you close the door you notice the odd sound it makes as it latches. As you release the latch on the hood and proceed to lift it, you are surprised when it comes off in your hand. You set it down, the dread and gloom back again, making your stomach feel like you ate a bag of poprocks. You look in the engine bay and see a piece of cardboard sitting over the battery, you decide to leave it there. Next, you look over the engine, but immaculate it is not. It's in such disgusting condition, you almost want to cry. You sigh most discontentedly as you replace the hood, you open the door to shut the engine off but hey, it gives a last feeble cough and dies away, you turn off the key, close the door and get the hell out of there. This is what I feel like is going on, no one gives a crap over there that is staff, manageme
 nt who should. If they did this would not be happening, there is no passion for their work, I grant you there was at one point in time, but it doesn't seem like that is the case any longer. I'm just frustrated because there's like some diamonds in the rough, to use the cliche.

What do you think of this idea?I think this would be a good idea since you could get more money and reach more strech goals. I'd recommend putting the button up there for a month or so after kick starter and then taking it down once that month is up.

What I like about this particular kickstarter is that the goal seems reasonable. Too often I've seen kickstarters with a goal of tens of thousands, and people in the accessible games community just don't have the cash. I did play a very early rough alpha version of the game a couple of years ago, and I can say the idea behind this one is definitely what we've been looking for in game terms. I'm not sure if the graphics will come off, not being how complex and expensive creating graphics that would appeal to a sighted gamer is, but we'll certainly see. I don't know if I'll be able to contribute to this one myself, being as I'm rather lacking in the cash department right now, but I'll certainly see if I can before the campaign runs out.Oh, ad btw, thanks for the news slj.

Well I'm still on arcase thus far, however I wouldn't be putting time into the game if it weren't possible to play solo being as I really don't care for grouping at all. myself I'm loving the quests, of which there are very many, also as a druid I'm getting a lot of milage out of my various minians which fulfill the functions of grouping members. I have heard some people say grouping is absolutely necessary on the mainland, however equally many people have said the opposite, and Dentin has confirmed that as long as you stay out of areas actually labeled as group and intended to be grouping areas, things should be fine. then again ARcase is pretty huge and there are hundreds of quests to do, indeed I am hoping at the moment I don't level myself out of the area before I have finished all the quests, though I'd stay to finish the quests anyway .

Not that there aren't dodgy people in Japan of course, but there's also a lot of rather playful, quite innocent stuff as well that simply plays on mild traditions and stories, and is no more harmful than girls over here wanting to be princesses and play at being rescued. My problem with Sc is that the thing was far too spammy, too much of "the computer voice says so and so", that and the fact that the movement and lock on commands just plane didn't seem to work. These are things which developers should rfix, especially if they want their game to be accessible and given that they have a death policy on people using scripts. I also didn't like in sc how bloody harsh things were. I got a ship blown up, and there was literally nothing I could do, and when I asked my response was basically "beg your alliance" I couldn't get a lone, i couldn't get insurance, I might as well just kill the character. A game where mistakes, even newbie mistakes are that harshly punished, particularly considering that it was the bloody newbie combat mission i tried just seems unfair. I have considered trying with the pack, since of all the space games I've seen sc had the best writing and atmosphere the
  most coherence in terms of it's activities, but I don't like the idea of playing for another four hours and then winding up basically in worse shape than I started due to a game with essentially badly written combat. I also hate the fact that any attempt by me to actually contact the staff and discuss the problem, maybe have a screen reader option with less combat spam got stone walled utterly. In the game itself I had no suggestions, and the emails I sent to squidsoft were categorically ignored. Obviously these are developers who don't give a rat's rear for accessibility, which is a shame when the writing in the game is so good.

Am i doing something wrong? All my ocean rides ends with thirsty virus, 50% of fishing in stream ends with thirsty virus. most of my time is waiting logged of for end this virus or drinking water. I'm sorry, but it's verry stupid. In readme zero info about it. Now i tried swim from marsh to the city but most of the time is pressing space to drink water. On start of the ride i had 880 water. Now in may be 60% i have 300 or 400 water. i tried play it for may be half an hour with this virus, but playing game titled "we drinking water all the time" is borring.

So time to drop in and say a couple of things. First, the tavern. Shouldn't it be more crowded? Even if you can only talk to the innkeep or someone who asks you if you want a room for a night, it will give more flavor to the games world. It could unlock a possibility for a sidequest or 2, as well. Second, can you run while exploring? it sounded that you were just walking in the demo. third, will this have a post game? When this comes out, I am buying it without playing the demo. How fast do keys arrive after you pay? I am going to play this in all langs, as well. Last thing, can you play the game through without some party member? this would provide an extra challenge. Another thing. Say one of your party dies, can you continue the story without them, or you will have to reload the game?

LOL. Nicely worded. Much nicer than I would had said. LOL. We will see February first. After all, they could be just collecting info. Yes, the price seems rather high for just a giveaway. I would go as far as saying that it looks like it is coming from their page and was posted on Facebook along with being sent out via email. I wonder if they could had been hacked... On the other hand, it does sort of look real. The info I gave when submitting my name could be figured out via other places I have been and done online if you looked hard enough for the most part. For example, doing a search in the FCC database for my radio call sign, you would find my name and address. Then again, there is the address that I gave Facebook. I am sign up to a mailing list or two, or at least more than that in the past, and there is an email address connected to that. There is also the info that I gave google awhile back to have a google account. So, to say my info is out there is a bit of an understate

That's not unheard of in mainstream games, to have characters have a few lines that they cycle through. In the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance games, for instance, a lot of the shopkeepers will have three or maybe four lines that they'll cycle through, even while you're browsing their wares. Of course this can get extremely annoying.

So nearly 2 days with no meaningful responses from staff, wonderful! Just what I thought would happen. Also, I am trying to get into the game and ignore everything about the lag and just try to have fun with it, I see a lot of help files with two sentences, how intuitive, especially when the system refuses to help you, by just echoing back do what? all the time. So, if you're foraging for instance, you cannot do put all in backpack, or put berries in backpack... No, that would be too out of the box. You first have to put one thing in then the other, for instance I put in thornberries then emberberries. In Lament and Geas, I can put all in backpack, or in lament I could do put berries in backpack and it would work. My god the system expects you to do something one way and if its not done that way, nothing. There is no extra aliasing to help you, some of the help files are one or two liners when they could be expanded upon. It's so frustrating! I just want to scream at som
 eone, fix yer shit! They really got some interesting stuff going on here but you can't enjoy that if you're battling with the system just to get around. It's not like I'm new to MUDding either, I've been into it since 2013, and been on probably 50 or more MUDs. Lament has way more expansive crafting, staff that actually want to help, a world that's open for you to explore, that is huge, and you can go anywhere, another words, in any direction. You're more likely to actually meet people, you don't have to fight with the system to do everything you want to do, in fact, I've had to bug report because sometimes there are too many ways to  do something and it interferes, for instance, referring to a wicker backpack as a basket, when you have baskets near you, etc. And they'll be straight with you about it, saying OK, thanks for the post, but we have it this way for a reason, and they'll usually enumerate those reasons, or hey, t
 hanks for the post and we've fixed it or something in between. Clok is like battling your way through a dense jungle with a dull blade, you hack and hack away at underbrush, tree limbs, vines, you're puffing and sweating and my god you find a clearing that's 5x5 across. So yeah, not that there's no enjoyment to be had, but by god you gotta fight for it. The system is its own worst enemy there. Ugh, man I want to like you, Clok, but please just let me play you and stop fighting me.

hey, sorry if this already have been answered but could you consider adding htrf support?and also UPNP as  in crazy party which forwards a port? that would give more players the possibility to host servers which however will make it more fun at the end if we can get more servers up

Combat in Star Conquest isn't really badly written from my standpoint, I personally just found it was a matter of messing with options for ships so you don't see who's firing upon whom, ignoring particular messages, etc. Combining that skill with the soundpack makes it a lot easier, since some messages should be shortened. I actually find combat in Star Conquest a lot simpler than in Miriani, mainly because it actually takes accelleration into account and also let's you track ships around you, as opposed to you simply not moving until the ship has stopped and constantly having to enter a command to see ship coordinates. It can be pretty fast-paced though, especially during invasions where you have to  avoid allies fighting around you. There's always somebody shooting me by accident though due to trigger happiness. I'm not playing Star Conquest anymore though, mainly because of how the player base is turning out, and it always seems to me that ver
 y much the same players are the ones in charge even when they appear washed out. Plus, the cockiness and attitude of those players gets rather boring. They can go back to raising money for rebuilding by selling pictures of themselves, but I'm not buying any.Miriani is actually the first space MOO I played, and I really enjoyed it for a long time, until the pirates sort of got free rein. At first, it seemed as if the hosts were attempting to nullify it slightly by implementing counter measures to fight their workarounds. Nowadays, though, looking at the boards it appears more as if the people fed up with pirating complains, the pirates complain more about how unfair it would be if they couldn't do as they pleased, and the hosts don't really seem to respond. The authorities (High Guard Command) is a joke, since they never really step in unless it aligns with an event somewhere. I got fed up myself, mostly because everybody is talking crap about the other, thinkin
 g they're so damned tough, or shooting at me when I just created a new character because shooting at an unupgraded cargo hauler in a battlecruiser is hard business, even more so when there's more than one ship joining in. Granted, they were terrible shots.I do like Cosmic Rage, except for when my autospray upgrades weren't working yesterday after coming back after a while. That seriously sucked, and I never got an answer to whether they had changed something. I'd originally intended to play a little until I had to leave, but I ended up having to abandon the ship, and I'm probably dead now after catching fire because I didn't have the time to see if they were just temporarily broken spray bottles. Cosmic Rage is probably the one I've had the most fun playing for a long time. All the activities, combined with a different way to do them was nice.I never really got into Prometheus, so I can't say a lot about that one. I did like it o
 riginally, but then the status system didn't seem to work according to the help file, and I was getting fewer points as opposed to more per level. Also, the few host interactions I did have made me feel like they just wanted to get me out of the way.I'm looking forward to Star Mourn. I guess there's never really any MUD that's right for everybody, and the same definitely applies to these. I've had good experiences on all of them, and it's given me a lot of roleplay challenges when playing both male and female characters, until in the case of Miriani, it just became a case of jumping into bed with someone for favors or you'd get shot at. I probably won't ever revisit my opinion of the Miriani player base, since I severely do feel that it has gone downhill in the past few years, so I can't honestly recommend that MOO anymore.
