I dont edit the folder, I only submit stories I might edit to the person that does her own folder.She just happens to work on his folder as well, but her preferences to her folder is different to his.I prefer the layout of her folder myself, cause I can easily find stories that are complete or are in a specific category, such as slash.Not everyone likes reading slash or certain pairings.Unfortunately we cant really sort stories by pairing, unless you want to sit there and read over 1 stories, but we do try and sort slash into their own folder.Time travel and new world stories are also in a folder of their own.In other words, stories where characters from the Harry Potter universe time travel, or ends up in some alternate reality, which is where the other world part comes into play.

Thank you roelvdwal that was a very unhelpful answer to my question about malware bytes.if I want lots of superlatives Ill look in a dictionary. If I want a useful computer that does what I want Ill continue with a system I like, and sinse microsoft havent provided me a decent   alternative in interface or compatibility that is Xp,  hell why they didnt just write a better xp in the first place I dont know. Yes, new machines may have more computery wootery and big numbers of this that and the other, but I really couldnt care less, sinse that really isnt a replacement for running all the stuff I want to run and doing the stuff I want to do easily. When there is actually a real practical bennifit to using one of these cruddy new systems with their bloody stupid interfaces and having the devils own time to run all my old software, Ill do so then. Oh and btw if my computer got hacked what is the 
 worst that could happen? They steal my credit card details, make a payment and I cancel it and change the card (assuming they dont go over the card limit which they probably would). Oh no! the horror!

Hi guys, I just added achievements in beatstar.Achievements are like trophies, but right now they dont have any other purpose than to be collected since you can buy the minigames with beatcoins anyway.Im not going to spoil all the achievements here, but basically you can get one by losing or winning at slots, by playing a level with a perfect score, beating a level without using safeguards, etc.Any ideas for achievements?

no recording, it would impact the performance of the game. Hi there,Try uninstalling and reinstalling Via voice. If it doesnt work again, try uninstalling and reinstalling it again, but this time using another screen reader other than NVDA.I have once given you a program called Uninstaller, perform the uninstall using it. And dont ignore the force uninstall option.It will remove everything. But make sure your via voice setup is not in the default windows harddisk, what I mean is that uninstaller searches everywhere on that harddisk, from PerfLogs to all windows components and all users over there and it might detect the via voice setup.Hope it helps somewhat.

hi,Agreed with peter. The only halfway decent and accessible antivirus is avast with self-defense disabled. Everything else is imo iether inaccessible or crap e.g microsoft security essentials or windows defender on windows 8 both of which are the same product. Also tward, saying that microsoft security essentials has so and so detection/protection is a dramatic understatement imo. Microsoft security essentials has consistently ranked last in detection since 2012. The reason while I am suggesting you update the NVDA is that about two years ago, I had NVDA installed on my PC, and the version was 11.2. At the time, the actual version was 2014.1, and Eloquence didnt think of speaking, so I updated it to the latest version, installed the same add-ons, and every issue was gone, hopefully!

Hi guys, I just added achievements in beatstar.Achievements are like trophies, but right now they dont have any other purpose than to be collected since you can buy the minigames with beatcoins anyway.Im not going to spoil all the achievements here, but basically you can get one by losing or winning at slots, by playing a level with a perfect score, beating a soundpack without using safeguards, etc.Any ideas for achievements?

Hi aprone,the thing with Swamp, is that a lot of the bugs are rather subtle, and youd have to unknowingly exploit them multiple times in some cases before you were like Oh crap, thats a bug! Like if the zombies were slowly vanishing, it might not really be noticed especially if there are still a lot of them, and thats generally not the behavior of swamp unless spawning is intentionally disabled. So Im not pushing anyone around and Im certainly not telling Aprone how to run, his, game, but I just think you might want to friendly let those people know that what they are doing is exploiting a bug, even if they dont mean to. and if they persist, punish them accordingly because they know its not good but keep doing it anyway.Just a friendly suggestion.

Hi btman, will you please explain the focus issues you are having? Im not quite sure what is going on but perhaps I could help you.As for the fan getting higher, does the computer run slowly when it does that? if so, its probably not NVDA, I think it is another program, such as internet explorer, or maybe you visit a webpage or open a file that makes your computer work a lot. I find that when I go to weather bug, my fan gets high, it freezes sometimes, but alt f4 and the fan slows again.

Thanks Trenton, Im asking because I believe game engine should deliver tools that let you comfortably create worlds with minimal programming required, so Im thinking of making an editor that would be close to what people already use comfortably.Frastlin, first of all, congrats on your memory What you describe is a little hard to understand without being a person with your exact context and previous experience, but most of the things seem doable with my current understanding of web audio api.I dont get why youd want to operate on sound arrays though. Sounds to me like a lot of unnecessarily convoluted procedural programming. My idea for an engine is to provide a way to build the world declaratively, from objects having position, dimensions and sounds, and control them in an event-based environment. So, instead of working on an array and deciding
  everything in every iteration of your main loop, youd declare a sound to play on collision with the object and never worry about it again. Interactive items could have sounds attached to events, and youd just trigger events on them.I dont know about using massive numbers of sounds. Well know when theres a prototype. I have no idea what the limits of web audio are, but they mostly depend on browsers, so you can expect worst performance on apple products. Browser support for web audio is limited to new browsers, and Im going to detect the support.Anyway, my idea is an engine, not just an audio manager.The engine would include:- methods for declaring and manipulating sound emitting objects in space- methods for manipulating the main character/listener- built in collisions- built in doppler effect based on distance change between listener and object- built in basic management of sound nodes (removing
  items that are too far, to free up resources)- access to lower level api to add custom hacks (including the ability to add an effect on all sounds globally)- 2 or 3 steering mechanics (for touchscreens and desktops) and hooks to build your own- rendering quality setup (webaudio has support for binaural sound, but its cpu intensive and some games on some devices will have to switch to basic stereo, the limit of sounds in a scene can be changed, doppler on/off)- maybe a game menu implementation- tools for level editing both using vision and not (text based or in-game)The above is not a promise, nor a declaration, but a list of items I have ideas for.All comments are helpful, Im just building my own vision of the project at this stage.

@blindncoolwell there is c++, thats in fact what pure basic is based off of. Also in pure basic though there is a demo where you can type 800 lines of code in your file. I think thats the only limitation but I dont really know. I have a set up. Its not an illegal crack, especially since its several versions out of date, but just in case it gets the negative attention of dark or some one else because it might look like one Ill not upload here, it would have to be through email if you wanted it. That is something I neglected to think about when releasing this. But some people expressed interest in pure basic.

Severestormsteve1 I agree completely. Most people have run one of these bugged missions at some point, or even several. When going through the servers logs, I made sure I only even looked at missions where there could be no question that something was wrong. Imagine, for example, running around a 180 raider mission after every single one had vanished, picking up the last 150 crates without ever encountering any resistance. In those cases, the player knows something is up.So I had narrowed down the list to only look at the missions where the player 100% had to know something was wrong. I then only looked at players who had ran a certain number of those. To error on the side of caution, there were players who ran at least 1 of those they know its bugged missions per day, and I didnt bother taking away any of their points. Players who ran many missions, where they had to know they were bugged, then got lis
 ted in order of how many points they actually earned from those missions. There was a clear line where people above it were abusing the bug, and those below probably were not. The top 3 on that list gained 90 million XP, 80 million XP, and 48 million XP. After that people were in the 100 thousand and under ranges. Thats a very clear line between those 3 people and everyone else. It was people who knew what they were doing, had discovered a bug they could exploit, and then taking full advantage of it.Those 3 people were the only ones who had XP and food taken away from them, and I only deducted what they had earned over the past 25 days. I feel I was more than fair, especially since those 3 people undoubtedly benefited from that bug for more than the past 25 days.I do understand what youre saying though, and I try to ever avoid punishing people based on game bugs. I had to make an exception with this thou
 gh, since a few guys were able to use it to climb way out ahead of everyone else. I should also point out that they were all HC guys who participate in fort battles. It isnt fair to let them use the bug exploit to rise above the other players who they regularly battle.

Speaking of bugs, heres one. Understand that I consider this more of a workaround for helping others, so I dont think it would be fair to punish anyone. Still, in the interest of fairness...Often, some of us who have high levels will help lower-level characters by running high-value missions. We want to give them as much reward as possible, so will try to figure out ways to do all the work, then let them have all the points. I dont know what current method is in use, but, well, there it is.As I said, I dont feel anyone should be punished. Indeed, I think this should be more of an official feature; if I want to put the work in but then give my share of the reward to other players, I should be able to. Im not gaining anything extra, in fact Im missing out, but Im willing and able to help lower-level players. Yes, the argument can be made that letting a level 10 go on a 180 DB mission is really missing the point, but
  consider that, often, these are secondary characters. Someone wants to level up fast to make a storage char, or theyre HC and just want to get enough levels to have a chance at some decent point distribution. Or, the mission is way less extreme, and were just talking about bumping a low level person up a level or two, not a bunch at once. Either way, if Im willing to run he mission and find the crates, then donate my reward to someone else, I cant see a problem with that. Those who want to play the game to its full will simply not join that kind of mission. Ill stop rambling now.

Yes, kind of like the language tutorial shows, looking at code is really what does it. Sometimes you dont understand new code but experiencing usually does the trick. It took me a while but everytime I looked at new code, it helped. And after a while you just start to have your own ideas on how to fix things, how to program a game from scratch, etc.

Hello,I am not 100% sure you are understanding classes correctly.Any thing can be a class, so the die, the player, the locations...The player list should not be a class, it should be a variable. (Unless you are making the board a class, in that case, you could add everything that is on the board, including the players, to the class).In a python program there are constants:board = [Go, Mediterranean Avenue, Community Chest, Baltic Avenue, Income Tax]player_list = [player1, player2] #I would make this an iterator actually so you can just call next(player_list).Very rarely should you use globals, if you insist, make them in another module. And if you do have globals, define them always, always at the top of the module. That way you can see how many globals you have .Then,

Kostae62,I will investigate barons, david, LPR, and RockyWaters because you have suggested that they are also guilty of this bug exploit. If it turns out they have done the same thing, the reason I did not punish them was because no one reported them. Now that their names have been brought to my attention, I will do it.The bug in the mission caused the zombies and raiders to slowly vanish and not return. Other players knew something was wrong so they stopped doing the missions, so that they would not gain rewards unfairly. A few players (including you), continued to run those missions many times. I only took away the XP and food that you gained during those missions for the past 25 days. This means you still got to keep much of the rewards you earned while doing those bugged missions.When I investigate barons, david, LPR, and RockyWaters, if they also ran many bugged missions, I will take away their XP and food also.  m trying to be fair to everyone, but remember that I cannot punish people who I do not know about. It is always important to tell me when you find that other players are cheating in any way. Thank you.Update: I have ran scans for the 4 people you mentioned. Three of the people are not going to be adjusted, but I will adjust the XP and food for 1. Thank you for bringing those names to my attention, and do know that I took the time to investigate them. The reason some people are not being adjusted is because in the records they ran too few of these missions, or gained too little rewards for me to consider their actions exploiting a bug. Many players had played at least a few of these bugged missions, and I have no problem with that. There is a clear difference between a player who ran a few of them and gained 100,000 XP, and a player who ran them over and over until theyd gained over 90 million XP and 3 million f

@Hanif, going streight to the cargo ships position is no good as you have noticed. What you need to do is head to a point where you will get a good shot at the ship, usually this will be to one side of its travel path.I dont recall mission 3 specifically (mission 5 was the one where I had real trouble), but its generally all about trying to track where something is going and being in the right place at the right time. Raul Gillegos did a good audio walkthru for the game (although its only slightly of help being as Rauls abilities with space and angles are obviously way! better than mine, he is able to take out the tutorial mission just with the depth gun). There is a difference between selling and supporting a product. Look at any other hardware, say, an iPhone 4S. Apple still released iOS 8 for it, and if your iPhone breaks, you can have it repaired by them. However, they no longer sell it in the apple store or with any carrier, at least in most countries. So, my guess is that what AVG means by support is that 2013 is still getting definition updates for people who bought licenses, but its not something that can still be purchased. Dropping XP support in 2014 is understandable, Microsoft stopped support in April and this is the point where many large developers stopped supporting it also. AVG should have been a lot more clear on this and I really cant blaim you for getting confused.While typing up this post I started thinking which AVs exactly have XP support, and for how long. This site was the first hit and the one bad thing I found here, at least for you, is that vipper dropped XP last month so its no longer an option.

Malware bytes doesnt really do viruses. You really really really really really need to get off XP, its really unsafe to be using, windows 7 is a fair step up and its not all crubbly like windows 8.1 is with its metro UI. XP is really not safe at all and now support is ended for it, its really unsafe and unless you get off it youll keep getting bombed and you will probably lose important stuff at some point or another.

If you want dark, Id be willing to help you reinstall windows 7 on your pc. Ive done this several times remotely, so if you want to upgrade but dont want to, dont hesitate to ask me.btw, the interface in windows 7 really isnt that bad. Its been a while since I used xp, so I dont remember all of xp, but the only thing that has really changed is the start menu, and now that Ive gotten used to it I like it a lot more than the windows xp one. For example, I just type in play, and then press enter and topspeed 3 opens. on my old machine full of programs and garbage, I had to go to programs with p, hit p about 10-15 times, then expand etc.That said, you can always use classic shell and bring the windows xp start menu back.

Hi guys,You need to obtain beatcoins to unlock packs. you do not need to use the default one to get beatcoins, you get beatcoins with every pack.And your unlocks retain with the updates, of course. No issues here.Thanks I noted some of the achievements you suggested.beat reverse is simple. Instead of hearing the action, you hear the key sound and press to hear the action sound. Its not about doing the opposite, rather its about hearing the opposite sounds.Minigames. I am planning to code more games before the game is released. I dont know when the release will be, but soon enough I hope.

Not sure on the boppit beats sinse only some of the packs have relevant time signatures that you could make a memorizable set of beats from. I dont know how the boppit dj works, thats a boppit Ive never played, but from what Oriol shows in the trailer the beat reverse in beatstar pro seems to be based on you getting the completion sound, and then having to hit the button to get the indication sound.So for example, like in boppit extreme where it would say boppit and then when you bopped it youd hear the base drumb, in beatstar reverse youd hear the base drumb, hit the key, and hear the voice say boppit when you hit the key. Its actually a fun little take on the boppit formula and not something Ive seen before.To answer your other questions though, to unlock packs you need to buy them for 5000 beatcoins each. When you begin you will have no beatcoins so will have to play the classic smackme pack just fo
 r a bit to earn your first 5k before you can unlock something else to play. actually considering smackme is one of the easiest packs to learn this makes sense.As to updates, well with every new beatstar version thus far the game has let you download the zip file automatically and run it, and your unlockables havent been disturbed, however this is the first time weve had an update under a hole new game title, beatstar pro. Btw, i actually wonder if beatstar pro is a good name sinse it really does sound like a commercial version of beatstar. Perhaps Beatstar arcade or beatstar extreme? not that it is a big deal. If were into suggesting minigames, one thought did occur to me. Beatstar space invaders.There used to be an old Bbc micro game called shoot the spaceship which was a typing tutor. You had a little space invaders style gun at the bottom of the screen (the gun was actually fixed), and had to shoot a spaceship circli
 ng above you, however the spaceship was made of different print letters, and the letters it was made from were the letters of the key you had to press to hit it.So, how about a beatstar space invaders version where you move your gun left and right with a and s keys, and the descending ships are represented by the sounds from the pack, with you having to press the appropriate key to shoot them down,  so essentially like the classic beatstar, but with sterrio targeting instead of need to keep to a rythm, also messing up would only cost you points not either retries or end the game, oh and yes, stretching around for the different fire keys while sterrio targeting could be lots of fun .

I am looking for an easy way to process lots of sounds in 3d space, so if you had a sound manager class that would let me attach sound objects, move a listener and set the max sound attenuation distance, it would be perfect.I will have a sound array for each section of the map, so being able to swap out either the whole sound array or parts of the array would be nice.A sound object could have the source (the arg you pass in), the volume, play, pause, stop, seek, loop, panning, pitch, (possibly reverb) and position.The listener would have position in x, y, and facing (h).The other things in the sound management would be the sound array, the process call (that I can use in my main-loop to check and play all the sounds in the sound array), attenuation (how far till the sound fades away to 0) and the listener.Another thing that could be given to the audio manager is an environment.   it is done in most game audio managers that I know of, but I think the way they have set it up is a little different. I think they chose the node approach, but the above approach is a little easier and faster to use for the programmer.I would not want to program checks, so, say I use ogg files, and the person has IE 9 or something that doesnt support .ogg files, there can be an error saying to change to fire fox.How difficult would it be to do this?

I just memorize the directions. I dont really write out anything ever. Entombed is really the only game where the floors were too big for me to remember. So I do like the nearest unexplored space and directions to the up or down stairs in Entombed because of that.

If I want a useful computer that does what I want Ill continue with a system I like, and sinse microsoft havent provided me a decent   alternative in interface or compatibility that is Xp,  hell why they didnt just write a better xp in the first place I dont know. Yes, new machines may have more computery wootery and big numbers of this that and the other, but I really couldnt care less, sinse that really isnt a replacement for running all the stuff I want to run and doing the stuff I want to do easily. When there is actually a real practical bennifit to using one of these cruddy new systems with their bloody stupid interfaces and having the devils own time to run all my old software, Ill do so then.

As a big fan of the Tron films, a light disk varient of beatball would be fantastic. My only concern with having soundpacks for beatball would be all the commentary messages when you or the other team score sinse obviously you wouldnt want a completely different game with the same mechanics talking about football teams or goals.Btw, is it possible to skip the announcement in beatball that syas whos turn it is to kick? I didnt know whether it was possible to or not, but sinse this gets repeated so often and obviously after a few kicks the player will get impatient, perhaps an option to skip this might help if it is not there already.

Hi there. Sam, I like the way fishing is handled. It adds something else to be aware of other than your characters thirst. However, I feel that, with the with the added responsibility of fishing that I seem to be spending all of my time cooking fish and gathering more. Gathering the fish is no problem, but the process for cooking them seems kind of tedious in my opinion. I no longer have time to do anything else, since by the time I gather 10 fish, cook them all, and eat them, I need to go do it again to ensure my hunger doesnt hit 1000, and the cycle continues. I have a few suggestions that I hope youll consider. First, perhaps the addition of a skillet. If we made a skillet, we could throw all of the fish we are carrying in it, then cook them all it once, but perhaps it would take twice as long? Im finding it kind of difficult to think of some materials to make the skillet, but perhaps some metal from the city, clay, and wo
 od? I dont know, Im just throwing ideas off of the top of my head. The second thing I thought of was the ability to eat raw fish, kind of like sushi? Although I would personally never even consider eating sushi in real life, perhaps my character would like some. Maybe you could make it so that you could eat the raw fish, but it would only give you half of the hunger amount that a cooked fish would? Or perhaps you could add seaweed over by the pond, and you could prepare a sushi-type meal without the use of a fire as a cooked fish alternative? Im just trying to think of ways that hunger would still be an important part of the game, but not take away from a persons ability to explore and do other things. I hope you like something Ive suggested here, but if not, thats fine too. Maybe itll give you some other ideas. Im done rambling now, but I wanted to say that this is an awesome game you have here.

Hi.For me, when eliquence doesnt work, i restart nvda and then try to go to symthersizer settings then press enter on eliquence. It works fine for me so i hope it works for you.

hi,on my phone there is a single long volume button, so I dont see how that button could be pressed up and down both ways at the same time. in case thats one after the other, that ought to work fine I suppose.

sorry for the doublepost, but I got it to work... sort of. it installed, then I rebooted as it asked. however the windows startup still interrupts itself, and things still break.please help asap.I also still get windows media player deSET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 H5 P330 T6ice in use errors... seems as if autoexec.bat doesnt autoexec

@Dark, to answer your question specifically about Malwarebytes no it does not do antivirus. It is mainly a tool for finding and removing spyware, adware, and other non-virus forms of malware. So for that reason I would highly recommend it in addition to any antivirus protection one has on their computer.As for antivirus that is something of a catch 22 these days. As already been said finding good antivirus software, especially if one is a screen reader user, is highly problematic.A lot of the well known antivirus programs Norton, Micafee, Avast, etc simply are not accessible. Regardless of how good or bad they are it is pretty much useless to us if we cant access it.Others like Microsofts Security Essentials is fully accessible but comes with its own problems. One its protection is so/so. It is definitely better than none, but Ive read is not as good as some other antivirus solutions. In any case accessibility aside MSE only runs on modern ver
 sions of Windows so isnt even an option for someone running XP which can be a problem as well.So Im not really sure what to recommend since I have been looking at antivirus solutions for a while and havent found I would prefer myself let alone recommend it for other VI users. So you might have to deal with AVG for a while until a good alternative appears.

Thank you roelvdwal that was a very unhelpful answer to my question about malware bytes, particularly sinse as I said earlier malware bytes did get rid of said virus anyway.if I want lots of superlatives Ill look in a dictionary. If I want a useful computer that does what I want Ill continue with a system I like, and sinse microsoft havent provided me a decent   alternative in interface or compatibility that is Xp,  hell why they didnt just write a better xp, rather than all this incompatible new crap with its stupid interfaces I dont know. Yes, new machines may have more computery wootery and big numbers of this that and the other, but I really couldnt care less, sinse that really isnt a replacement for running all the stuff I want to run and doing the stuff I want to do easily. When there is actually a real practical bennifit to using one of these cruddy new systems with their bloody stupid interfaces 
 and having the devils own time to run all my old software, Ill do so then.

To answer your questions, malwarebytes doesnt check for viruses, just malware.Sadly, theres no good anti-virus anymore. The ones that have a decent detection engine are inaccessible, while the ones that are accessible not only have poor detection rates but also impact your computers resources, something youre a lot more likely to feel on an older system with XP. I personally dont use any anti-virus. On Windows 8+ I keep windows defender on which seems to do an OK job, but I mostly rely onn common sense, and if Im ever unsure of a file I scan it with virustotal which runs a scan with 60 different AVs and tells you the result. I also do this on my XP desktop that I have for gaming, but only because I use firefox which is still getting security patches.As annoyed as you are with what people are saying, I somewhat need to also suggest you upgrade. Normally, I would say switch web browsers and youd be good, but Dolphin doesn&
 #039;t seem to care about firefox for a few years now so your screen reader is limiting you to IE 8, which, just like Xp isnt getting patched. And saying that all you do is the occasional google, browser game and email with it isnt an argument that youll be safe, because a lot of browser infections get in via ads. Even google doesnt check for these and as a result many perfectly harmless sites can cripple your system. Once AVG warns you somethings up, well, its too late because something just exploited some low level IE vournollability, probably got administrator access and installed something.

hello there,as far as I recall, ill have to admit that the suspend and resume from suspend features existed since a long time back.in fact when I got this phone almost 1 year ago, the function that includes disabling talkback from the global contex menu for a temporary period was still there. and hence, one was able to resume talkback after turning the on the screen again, or in a better sense, from the lock screen.thanks
