Everyone's going to have their own take on what is and is not worth having for various reasons, but I think I can get at least one person on here to recommend the Roland FA06 or 08 models.  Both are affordable and the only real difference lies in the number of keys.  The FA series was built using the Integra 7 sound module in combination with Roland's super natural sound  engine which gives you tons of control over both acoustic and synth sounds.  Right off the bat, you have access to 2000 different voices and waveforms, and if you find that this isn't enough, you can download more from the axial website, including more pianos, dance track rhythms and synths, world instruments like the Chinese erhu, more orchestral and percussion patches, and tons of other stuff I haven't covered for the sake of trying to keep this as short as possible.  There is tons I have yet to learn about this baby, but since it only cost me 1500 dollars, I'm 
 not shedding tears just yet, compared to some other keyboards that cost much, much more. I've only had it for two weeks and I'm relatively satisfied with what I do know thus far.  Even if you dont' want to get acquainted with the onboard sequencer, you can get up and running recording tracks using QWS and instrument definitions.  Should you decide to take the dive, however, you have a massive amount to work with, including everything from being able to use samples you have previously recorded elsewhere in your tracks, to being able to plug in other instruments into the FA and recording them straight into your track from that perspective, to exporting all of your recordings as uncompressed wav files.  If this isn't enough, the FA models also act as their own soundcard, which makes it unnecessary to worry about audio leaking in from other sources if you are using it to record.  You can, of course, go out of your way and purchase an audio interfa
 ce to tackle this issue, but there is almost no need unless you will be recording vocal tracks as well.  Obviously, if you want to spend more money, go get a Yamaha Motif.  I have yet to hear a blind person complain on that keyboard.

HiI actually didn't like the 3d sound and reverb feature, since it effects on the sounds ambience and the other sounds which shows them compressed or have a low quality, in addition to their loss of being a stereo, though I liked the game, but it was better in its previous form. That's my opinion.

Oh, yeah, and I forgot, it only weighs, are you ready for this?  12, pounds!  If you're planning on doing gigs in the future, you're going to want to take as much as you've used in the studio as possible to make your sound as authentic as possible without having to carry a ton.  You can hardly beat 12 pounds, unless you get yourself a performance synth like the Korg x50, which is lighter but doesn't pack as powerful a punch, or the Roland Jupiter 80, which packs a powerful punch but is nowhere near as light, or accessible, for that matter.

Well, hopefully the accessibility comes to something at least. I remember back when I was browsing the rock band forums there was a lot of interest in making it more friendly to blind players. But apparently from what I've read, free style drum fills have been taken out to be replaced by preset ones... I wonder if those are preset fills we will have to hit based on the performance track? If so, then it actually takes it down a slightly... since blind drum players will have a harder time activating overdrive. lol And I guess I shouldn't say the setlist sucks, especially because I don't know every single one of the songs. But rock band 2 will always have the best setlist, imo. Does anyone know how DLC transfers will work? I have a ps3 with all my dlc on it from all three games, but only have the disc for rock band 3. Will I still have access to stuff? I hope so... because I don't want to have to fork over another 300 bucks or so to get all the songs that I had be
 fore! hahaha.

hi,chandu. can't exactly find what you mentioned about, but here is what I do for recognizing whatsapp pictures those with text. turn on Bluetooth and transfer them to the laptop, assuming the laptop does have a nice Bluetooth functionality. then using fine reader from there. pretty much does the job.  and on whatsapp you select the picture then select share from top right or something.anyways, there is this app called google goggles, or just goggles. so suppose you have a bill or a listing or a document of some sort of which you would want an area to be recognized. goggles pretty much does the job, provided you position your phone in the best way possible, adequate lighting etc. the results aren't disappointing, should admit that there.thanks and laters

I have noticed when out doing a quest freezes or pauses of a couple of seconds, everything, you, the zombies, the sounds, like you shoot a zombie and it freezes then, you hear the shot, then a couple of seconds later you hear it hit the zombie. Also, sometimes it freezes while you're reloading and you hear the reloading sound, but a couple of seconds pass before you hear the reloaded sound, and not just the sound freezes.

It, however, seems your problem might not be able to be solved here. Thus, it's not Quentin's fault, he's caused no trouble on this (the audiogames) forum, but now I'd really consider being very careful. Acusing other forum members of lying especially here just brings the drama right to us. Just a heads up, that's all for now, but if it continues I'd have to issue warnings.Now, I have a suggestion for you guys. If you do, somehow, manage to get back onto the playroom I'd recommend setting the option so that only your friends can join your tables for a while and finding a group who you know will play with you. As to how to get back to the playroom, that's not up to me, it's up to you to settle this elsewhere. One thing I will say though, sp
 amming the playroom's website is certainly not going to help you get back on there. In effect you might have actually stopped yourselves from getting there. The thing is, while spamming could disrupt the service and maybe get the admin's attention, it's also not a good idea to do that because you are also disrupting it for everyone else, and then, well, I don't know who will join your tables after that.For now though, I honestly do not know what to suggest, other than to just try to keep things civil on this topic.

A song that definitely seems varied so to speak, is Dream Theater's Metropolis Part 1, I don't know if it's the full nine minute version or not, but there's a lot of guitar, bass stuff going on.Light up The Night has quite a cool guitar part, looking forward to that.The one though, that I'm seriously looking forward to has to be Start A Band, which just, well, fits. @exodusI believe I can outdo you with this version of the above mentioned songI mean the setlist is no Rock Band 1 or even 2, but it's still got a vew gems and at least one song that'll be relatively good at parties.  That and the DLC thing is something they've been looking into since the beginning.  If you have the previous generation of your current console, so if you have an Xbox 360 version of RB 1/2/3/etc, and you have Xbox One RB4, you can get all your dlc with no problem.  If, like me, you've switched from PS3 to Xbox One, you'll have to start from scratch as far as we're aware.@ianhamilton_It's good to see they're working on accessibility but I'm not sure, like you, whether it'll come to anything for those with absolutely no sight.  We'll have to see.

So changing the language doesn't fix it eh? And there's no way to change your actual region that I know of, because for all intense and purposes there is no region on the ps3, psp, ps vita or ps4 since they're region-free. And make sure when changing the language you are changing the system language, not just the display language.

@assault_FreakYou should be fine as you have a PS4, there should be no issues.  You should just be able to download the individual songs (no batch downloads as the consoles don't support them).I believe freestyle drum fills are still available, as are classic guitar solos.  They'll just be an option as far as I'm aware (it might be possible to toggle those mid song, it's doable for guitar at least).The only thing we can do is wait I guess.

That depends on what you mean by batch downloads. I've downloaded multiple things on both my ps4 and ps3 at the same time, including my entire rock band library when I had to restore my ps3 at one point. Unless you're talking about specifically rock band dlc? In any event, I'm looking forward to this game... a new rock band game has been way overdue! haha.

When you switch characters, the AI partner will go to the next objective... so it's good to switch often to check where you are. And yes, it is possible to play on the keyboard... but I don't know the pc controls, as I play on a ps4.

@Dark, nah I would do it so that player would have to go back for as many regions as he has gone, it makes more sense than a player going through 100 regions that returning home, it would be much better having to make a huge mission home, and it would be ridiculously easy to track, I would just have a variable active once the player leaves his home region to count up each time he enters a new region until he chooses to return home, then it would count down until 0 and at 0 load up the saved variables for his home regions.@Threeblacknoises, yup effects that don't clash with eachother can be mixed and matched, for example loading perky and then super perky, super perky would be the active one, it will simply overwrite whatever the old effects were

bradp and others in the UK, I'd be curious if anyone could get it to work by creating a psn account from the north american region. If you change the system language and the option still doesn't show up, try that and see if it works. The ps4s are not region-locked as I said, so an american system is the same as a Japanese or European system, as far as I'm aware. Just create an American psn account, then change your system language to English US. remember that you actually need to enable the tts option, rather than just changing your system language.

Baruch,Simply attack the monster you want to approach.  The shorter the reach of the weapon you use, the closer and faster you will close in to your enemy.  Remember, the other monsters in the room may attack you and close in on you at the same times.  If you use a longer reach weapon you can keep them away from you.  If you weapon has a much longer reach then them then you may be able to hit them and they will not be able to hit you.  Speed is very important.  If you are faster you can keep them away with a long weapon.  If they are faster they can close in on you and overwhelm you.Some players use the strategy of using a small, flying thane, such as a fairy.  If you are flying inside the cave, only small creatures or thanes can do this, then only other flying enemies or large enemies can close in on you.  You can fly, use a bow, or a whip, if you can find one, and attack away at small and medium non-flying enemies and th

Hey everyone! So I bought samurai warriors 4-ii on steam yesterday, I have a few questions though:I know nothing about japanese, do you know if there's a way to change the language to english? Also, I know the first menu when you launch the game isrelated to saving and loading games, maybe @assault_freak can help if it's the same as the ps 4 version so I don't end up overwriting my saved game.Also, how to continue the story when you launch the game again and if i'm in the middle of a battle and want to go back to the main menu for somereason, how to do it? sorry for all these questions, i'll try to get sighted help to try to help you guys as well with the other stuff.here are the keyboard controls for the game according to the game's readme:movement: a d w s for left / right / forward and backward, attacks: j, i and l, m is for jump, left shift block, slash  calls horse, o is specialskill, comma switches 
 character, r is rage mode, numbers 1 and 3 select skill and q uses skill, and k is escape, personaly i recommend using acontroller, i'm using a x360 wireless one and it works perfectly with the game.

The only reason I get angry when people bring up Python and its capabilities on this forum is because every python programmer (mostly ctoth) has basically gone on and on about python this, python that, python this, python that, etc. None of you have actually paid attention to the 700 plus languages out there which could probably do that same thing in an easier or harder syntax. This topic asks for an ideal way of creating a parser for maps. If you were to create a parser for maps, you would have to tokenize the file - split it up into thousands, if not millions, of different strings - and then interpret each string. Danny achieved this in PureBASIC by using conditionals, which works quite well for that particular game; the only thing that is impossible with this model is that there can not be any error detection or syntactical validation, and the game ignores anything not within those strings given in the conditionals. Another way is to do it in C++ by using classes, and then to t
 okenize it like that. I find that to be extremely easy to do. I could give you an example of how to do it if you wish me to give one. I have not timed python's string tokenizing speed, however I do know that C++ is extremely fast. The only reason DMNB is slow at interpreting and parsing strings from maps is because it has to send the entire map - ships - across the network. If it was parsing maps from the disk in the computer, and not sending each map across the internet, it would be extremely fast and quick.

Mweh, here's my little view on this.  I code in pure basic, for the time being. I know of a way, using the preference library, to code a procedure, with a map file as parameter, and parse it, in less than 20 lines depending on how many different objects I have. Camlorn and ctoth are comfortable with Python and C++ and have 10 + years of experience. I'm just saying there doesn't need to be a whole war over languages, it just doesn't make since. Aprone even still codes in the way out of date VB6 but I personally have absolutely nothing against that choice. We just pick what we're used to and hit the road running. When we find flaws, as I have begun to do, we either work around them or find another language. Either way, the whole "My language is better than yours and yours is not as good as mine and I have all of this knolege and I can do this and that and beyond with my language", it's purely a waste of kilobytes. So just be happy w
 ith your language... alright? People have the right to rave about their favorite language and all of its great wonders. There's... really... no point in it getting to other people.Back to the topic at hand, Omar I don't think you should have the issue of rooms being placed on top of one another, especially if each room has a specific position on the map. You seem to have the serialization thing down quite well; but you should definitely have a position variable of sorts to prevent rooms from spawning on top of each other.

Okay wait wait wait.I don't have to tokenize anything.  I just have to yaml.load(file("mymap.yml")), replace yaml with json, pickle, or any of several other formats of your preference and reuse the same line.  I see no way in which this is nearly as complex as you are making it out to be.  It is only as complex as you are making it out to be in a language where someone hasn't written at least 5 perfectly good parser options that go straight from a specific text format to objects in memory, usually in one function call.  But hey, your loss.  This community has decided to become entrenched on languages where the question being asked on this thread actually needs asking and where the answer isn't one line.AN online game.  That's online.  That doesn't validate anything.  You realize that I could go through that like tissue paper if I wanted?  What you are essentially saying is: the drawbacks of
  Purebasic and the fact that I have to write my own code for secure networking mean that I don't have secure networking and anyone who wants to put in 15 minutes or so of effort can probably take me down.  You're also saying that you're probably giving clients privileged information, which means that I can probably just stick any of several network interception tools in there and see all sorts of interesting little tidbits that I shouldn't, and I can probably do stuff I shouldn't, too.  These are yet more problems that other languages solve for us if you just opt into one of the good networking libraries.  In this case, what you're actually doing is giving me more points I can make supporting my viewpoint, not supporting yours.I'm not speaking for Python.  I am speaking very specifically against Purebasic and BGT.  But apparently people aren't going to actually spend significant effort to try no matter what the l

 39;re asking is usually already answered.  But hey, why do all that?  You can buy Purebasic or choose BGT and intentionally wall yourself away in a little prison cell of loneliness, where the only programmers you can really talk to are on the same level you are and no one writes books because they'd sell to at most 200 people for all time.  There are programmers out there answering questions all the time who make every single person on this forum look like nothing in comparison.  Every language I can think of that is honestly popular has at least 30 books, teaching you how to do everything you could ever want to program, from games to blog engines to machine learning and AI.  But that's fine, the little walled prison of Purebasic/BGT is comfortable and safe and all the corners are rounded so you can't possibly hurt yourself, too bad all you have is the horse as opposed to the nuclear power plant.  I'll take the nuclear power plant ov
 er the horse, any day.And for the record, I know Python and C++ incredibly well.  I know Haskell far enough that I wish we had the monad in other languages.  I have worked in MC68000 assembly and on a Texas instruments microcontroller.  I have worked with the component object model and the windows APIs for Unicode and Ascii conversion directly.  I have learned enough about rust's borrow checker that I'm seriously considering it for a possible future project.  Libaudioverse is working and released, 15000 lines of C++ that are entirely written by me, covering everything from calculus to binary formats to low-latency audio to my own threadsafe containers (why that last one is a long, long story, and it makes me very very sad).  I have written my own small but functional e-mail service.  I read the manuals for new and interesting languages just because they exist and the author might have figured out some new idea that solves a problem 
 I have to deal with on a daily basis.So, when I say Python, it's not without having considered other languages.  I don't say Python because Python is amazing at everything, I say Python because Python makes a good jumping off point to move to almost any other mainstream

What he's talking about is the rival (not just a random opponent, but your game-long rival that you have to give a name to at the start of the game) doing a sort of monologue thing after he's beaten you. The battle music has stopped but he says a couple paragraphs worth of stuff, and then takes off. We no longer hear this since the feature to announce the area you're in post-battle was implemented.

HelloI have recently tried to follow the link listed to the website, but I have noticed that the website says it is suspended. It says that the visitors should come back later, but when I do it says te same thing. Can someone please fix this? Or invistage it because I would love to get the mud and play. Hi.I'd highly recommend the tyros 5. NO it's not cheep but it is an amazing keyboard with tuns of features.As for accessible music making software. I'm not sure and I'd not go with ProTools just in case it's not accessible. As far as I know; you can't get a demo of ProTools.

I have my language set to US english, I am not changing my region though, it messes with things... so I really want to rant and say that you people in the US should not be complaining because you can use more of your console than others around the world.
