Hello thereThe moo certainly sounds interesting, and I might also give it a go. For space Moo's what I usually look for is a soundpack, aye I am spoiled by the miriani pack, and sinse this already has one, it makes things much easier.At Andy and Ishan, Mush Z is a custom mushed based client intended for altar.You actually don't really need to buy vipmud, I certainly wouldn't at $35 $30? or whatever it happens to be atm, but its 30day trial is good enough,after which ends you can use everything but ncp? and there's a time limit of 120 minutes after which you need to restart VIP not your pc so that's not a problem, at least not for most usersI personally use VIPMud for all my mudding needs, but I'm also thinking of switching to clients like the mush client just because Vip's script documentation as it stands now doesn't really tell you much,and it could really use some improvement plus mush scripting isn't a propr
 iotory language so creating/resolving scripts issues should be farely easy, or easier as compared to vipBut that's for another topic and another day.grryf

Hello all. So I was thinking about what it would be like if some mac games were available for IOS. Games like the blind swordsman, or grale to the thief. Although grale to the thief kind of had me thinking of a game similar to 1812 heart of winter, the blind swordsman could be sort of like a game of swiping to find the enemy, and swiping up to kill. What are your thoughts?

Basicly when running fast swiping up on the screen doesn't make you run fast enough, but on pc, you press shift and you run just as fast as your daughter. But it would be cool if they added blue tooth keyboard support.

As far as controls go I have noticed a few confusing changes. For example when you swipe up on the screen, it feels like you are not running fast enough, however when you press shift, he runs just as fast as his daughter. I feel as though I need to do this Crazy Party thing. Somehow I manage to procrastinate playing games, too. :-/The training is going fine. It was the national convention I was complaining about. Crazy party's battle mode has me currently atempting to unlock every card in the game before I take another breath, knowing that I'm not going to do it all in one go.  Between that and moving, which is mostly done, save for all the stuff that needs unpacking and putting away and organized and reorganized and whatever, life continues to more or less revolve around a nearly seven month old drooling, screaming, spewing, burping bundle of arms and legs tied together seamlessly by shere madness, or maybe it's skin... I'm not sure anymore.  She's hard to get to sleep when she's sleepy, hard to keep asleep when she's sleeping, hard to please when she's not, and all around and in between even when everything else is going alright.  The reward, you ask?  It's simple, she's a constant reminder to me that life itself is not, and has never been pointless, and how much change can occur in one's own when it is allowed.
 bsp; Besides, everyone else loves her, too, even the people who don't seem to like us very much. :dI haven't done much on the musical side lately; I strum my guitar and do a bit of improv on occasion to keep myself slightly entertained when I'm doing nothing else of value.  I don't think I've played keys of any kind in at least a month, though that should be changing soonish owing to all the space I've acquired thanks to this new house.  We're still talking about getting a dog, or a cat, or a pet dragon headed saber tooth sword tailed winged white weapon wielding... Something.  Maybe I can convince someone out here to just build us an awesome automaton and we'll call it Auto.  Of course, if I manage to do that, convincing to begin with, I'll also have to convince my wife to get to sleep at night.  Hmmm, at some point I need to call my mommy, I guess; it's been a week since we've conversed about any
 thing and, given that she can't be bothered calling me for whatever reason known best to her which is probably tied to holding it over one's head that calls are withheld or not made and neglected, which makes a lot of sense because she's older than I am, um, yeah.  Maybe I'll just, get back to this here game I was playing while I continue to keep my attention on this cosmic rage topic that just, sprung up.

Most likely it's for the same reason.  I don't think GorthelonTheDragon (proud owner of TRTR) hosts his own stand-alone server.  The "servers" are a loose term.  The game is played specifically online hosted by a machine that allows other users to connect.  The hosts just use their laptops, not necessarily a server tower in the way we think.Luke

Update: The Days of the Week song had some changes; several minor ones. For one, I switched to FDS as opposed to N163 since exporting to NSF gave me errors. Other than a few tempo changes on some parts, it still going great. I just need to find the individual tempo BPM values for the other verses so I can manually do the vocals with Vocaloid (DECtalk parts are almost done). For each verse, I am having a different Vocaloid sing it just to put a spin on it a little.

This sounds awesome. Any idea of activities, some stuff in star cnquest like battlesuit combat sounded great, but the game I found generally urstrating especially in it's spammy space combat? Promethius was far nicer in terms of spam, but the activities and world seemed a bit random and I got a trifle stuck in terms of what to do where (I couldn't actually find! anything to fight).Does the game have separate types of experience points for activities? or just the one sort like Promethius.I'm a bit busy at the moment, but I've been looking for a fun space mud for some time so will give this one a try as and when I can.

At Cae, could you go in to more detail on why your having a rough time with training. I have been on the fence for doing the training program for years, but just always had a bad feeling about it. I'm naturally a rather quiet and secluded guy, so that type of program doesn't sound like something i would get along well with at all. I have heard that there ways of training are rather one size fits all and perhaps even a bit draconian. What are your thoughts? As for myself, i'm playing a ton of pokemon, jumping between versions and catching all my favorite monsters. Also, i'm probably going to read lord of the rings again, it seems to be a once a year kind of thing for me. Might even watch all the middle earth films as well, just for fun.

A printer recomendation

A while ago while buying replacement cartridges for my color inkjet printer and being dismayed at the cost, I decided that the next time the printer needed new cartridges, instead of buying them, I'd abandon it and buy a personal laser printer. For one, I don't need color, and laser printers are cheaper to operate than inkjets.The printer I got was a Brother HL-2320D for $100. Since I don't need faxing capability, and already have an excellent flat bed scanner, this printer is just that, a printer, and a pretty simple one at that.It only has two buttons, a power button and a "Go" button. It can do duplex (double sided) printing and has a sheet feed slot I'll use for envelopes, though it seems to be able to handle a full page.The printer does have four LEDs to show its status, but you don't need them. When you install the printer driver, it installs a small program that runs in the system tray called "Status Monitor"
 , that will keep you updated on the printer's status from your computer. You have three options of how you are notified of printer status messages. The first is to get no notifications about the printer's status, the second is a sound alert with a bubble showing the status message that disappears after 10 seconds or so, and the third is to have printer status messages read to you using the default SAPI voice. I was thrilled because this made the printer fully accessible independent of which screen reader you use. I suspect that you could also choose the sound alerts and your screen reader would read the text in the bubble too, but I haven't tried it. Since I have Eloquence for SAPI from Code Factory, I'm satisfied having the status monitor use it.It's a bit noisy while printing, but overall, I'm very happy with this printer and highly recommend it.

How do you properly win Minesweeper. When I dig out a box and is says that the next boxes are not mined, I dig it up, only to be blown up.The colored buttons is tough. I push one button, only to have the others change to the other color. I know I need all of them to be the same color, but I cannot do that if pressing one button of the other color changes the buttons on either side of it.

I am at the NFB national convention. I hate crowds. Everything echoes disorientatingly. Nothing interesting has happened. I am obligated to go out into all that and talk to people. I am not good at talking to people, especially when there are so many other things going on in the area. I really, really hope the training makes a lasting difference and this week is just the part where it comes with a genuine cost. Well, if it stops being awful at some point, that'd be great, too, but I'm not counting on it. I am taking every opportunity to hide in my room and do video game-related things because if I don't I'm pretty sure I'm going to wind up melting in public. I should leave the hotel and find someplace cheaper to eat or at least a decent grocery store but GAAAHHH!

@Afrim, the migrant thing has got way out of hand on both sides. Nobody says that Britain will suddenly turn into a nazi police state where anyone who wasn't born in Britain will be kicked out, or even that students and workers and tourists and others who have always been welcome to visit britain will suddenly be rounded up and chucked in the English channel . It's just that the rules for entering the country will be changed somewhat. Monthly chat July 2016

Another month, another monthly topic. Chat about anything and everything youyr doing in your life, what your reading/playing/listening to/watching/eating/riding on giant space slugs with, how your feeling and pretty much anything else you fancy. Well I say "another month" accept that for myself and my lady it really isn't, being that we're getting married on Sunday evening, and then spending two nights at Hotel Hershey as a mini honymoon. I'll say sorting everything out has been something of a hasle, learning music, myself writing a poem, and pretty much writing our own wedding service (given that the one the priest had by default was pretty grose, all about God creating woman from Adam's ribs to be man's helpmeat and man being the king of the castle and other victorian crap). Well at least we've got a nice service lined up with much more correct wording, plus music. We're starting off arriving in a cinderella 
 style cariage to the church (just because), We're having Era ma's the river runs through you at the start, (a gorgious piano peace by a japanese pianist), james Horner's theme from cocoon as the processional, and jurassic park as the recessional for afterwards, and we're both singing during the service. I'll be singing a hymn called "I would be true" to the tune of dannyboy during the blessing of the rings, and my lady is singing "candle on the water" from of all things 'pete's dragon, and of course we're both singing one hand, one heart from westside story. We don't have a huge reception planned, just 20 or 30 of my wife's family and friends and a nice meal at a restaurant before my lady and I head off.I really can't believe I'm actually! getting married at this point, it seems sort of unreal, particualrly considering where I was a year ago. Needless to say, games and things are sli
 ghtly lower on the priority scale right now. I did have a look at popmundo, but I just find it doesn't grab my interest. This might just be that the hole life sim thing has never particularly got me, or where I am right ow, though I do want to give the game a db page, indeed as always the db needs work doing though I don't know if I'll get much done for a while, (I have added a few things in the last few days just because). I might play some more alteraeon or crazy party today, actually I'm finding Alteraeon especially nice, since unlike something like adventure to fate it doesn't take a lot of getting into to start up, but unlike a simpler game it can hold my attention fairly deeply, which is good at the second since things are rather a hassle in other areas given all the arrangement. Reading wise, I'm in the middle of a collection of sf shorts, which is nice, it's been quite some time since I just read some short stories that weren&
 #039;t dr. who and I've missed it, I particularly like the way I get several new things at once, though the next one is harlen ellisson so should be a bit grim . When Ive finished that I've just got the new alien into the shadows audio drama that carries on the story from the alien films. That should be awesome, though a bit of a weerd thing to take on one's honymoon . What is everyone else up to?

Hi Brad. I actually contacted one of the developers about project bob quite recently (partly I admit because I fancied taking another look at the mud). Apparently the game went down due to the drama that has been mentioned, but the developer did say he was going to see about bringing it back, hence why I'e not done anything with the db as yet, though I suppose I could change the license type to unknown for the time being until we hear something else.

I can't remember exactly but I think it cost €4.99 when first launched, and the in-app purchase of unlimited lives costs another €4.99 now that the 1.2 update has been released.The smaller packs of fewer lives (always a specific given number) are significantly cheaper than that but the drawback is their principle, that is being a limited count of lives. :-)Lives work in such a way that you start with 7 of them at the beginning, if I remember correctly, and whenever you die, it takes about 20 minutes for this lost life to become available again. That means that if you manage to die 7 times in a row in less than 20 minutes, you have to wait a while before you can start a new round or continue the last reached level where you died. :-)The life recharge counter keeps going and counting even while you play, and I believe it even works when the app is not open or is running in the background. I have another question here, If we want to make a program and if we don't have required libraries, in python, we simply go to the pypi and install required modules. But what do we do if the above situation happens in C or C++? C# can be powered by .Net framework, but c and c++ doesn't. How do we find a library that is not in the c/c++ header files list like network interfaces, encryption functions etc?

Or type a set of words you know are in the lyrics and you'll also find something, which is useful if you don't know the name of  asong but you do know its words.  Usually, if I'm looking for lyrics to a song I'll type something like the following:Opeth - Ghost of Perdition - LyricsIf you don't have punctuations set to speak in your screen reader you'll have missed the dashes, the first to the left of Ghost, which separates the band name from the song title, the next to the left of lyrics, which usually does a good enough job of telling google what I'm looking for.If you're looking for lyrics and a song title and you happen to know some of the words, type them in as you know them, followed by a dash and the word lyrics.

Ok, I have 111 minigames unlocked, which leaves 5 to still be done. Simon, haunt of eels, trapped bonuses, bay of jellyfish, and diamonds mine.Simon I don't know if I will ever unlock, because I always get like 6 points and then I need to do almost the whole intellectual world over again. Which isn't really a problem for me, but its just very tedious and demoralizing to have to start over. Diamonds mine I should probably be able to do, I just forgot all about it. But can anyone tell me how I can get to trapped bonuses, the haunt of eels, and the bay of jellyfish? I know that the last 2 are extremely hard to beat, and the beach world is really, really confusing. But trapped bonuses I've just never managed to fine, so you probably have to get 20 points on some game, anyone know which one?Also, electric root does in fact show up as electric root for me, not electric currents. But there's one called pipe bonuses which is called diversing bonuses or some

Well, I am no coder, as my friend jokingly told me "You couldn't even write a Hello World script without copy/paste..." But as little meaning as he wanted to give to those words, he actually does almost speak the truth. While I could do it now, it is only because I've practiced using BGT's alert function so much that I have the code memorized. I could not yet write functions of my own or construct new working code from that knowledge. But, I think the advice in post 2 is very helpful. I'm not totally sure what your boss would think of your code, or even if he would examine your code, so I can't really respond to that. But don't worry about that now... make code you're confident in first.  ch is a simple music notation language used a lot in making music for old video game sound chips. I'm known to do interesting things with it, such as trying to emulate difficult to play passages, which are about 500 times more difficult to type and render correctly. While a lot of my mml code does look a little gibberish to me sometimes, I can piece it together. If the thing refuses to compile into something that can be played, or if it plays and sounds wrong, I can normally step through the mml script and find the problem, not by trial and error but by looking at what I've typed and seeing the error. MML is ridiculously simple by comparison though, as it's more meant for musical/math geeks like myself. So it's just a simple matter of knowing what each command does and being able to add their effects up in your head. The commands don't' have much in the way of context either.A programming language is much different. In MML I don't have to ste
 p back and piece together how I've constructed an array or a function, or how I've set an object's properties, and then figure out how that leads to the result I'm getting. There is backtracking in MML yes, but only to recall references I may have made and forgotten, not to read methods which I've written or used and later cannot decipher. That kind of stuff makes my head hurt. I've tried to grasp BGT. I really tried. But because my brain doesn't work the way BGT does, I end up tying it in hopelessly tangled knots. No doubt I could untangle them given time, patience, and a mentor who could see me through. No matter the system or method for inputting the instructions, whether it's mml, bgt, Python, or even sitting in front of an editor that doesn't have scripting of any kind, the process should be similar. You should at least have an idea of what you're trying to do and how you're going to do it before you start working. That doesn't mean you must have the whole program code scripted in your head. It does mean though that you will have to know how to chunk your program into smaller parts which you can then plan out before you start. Sometimes planning can be done in your head, but writing extremely detailed instructions that leave nothing to chance is the best way to really plan your script before you start writing it. This helps you not only split your project into individual pieces, but also more importantly, it helps you figure out how you will connect the pieces, at least hypothetically. If you are frequently becoming overwhelmed with the demands you p
 ut on yourself, or are constantly thinking "I'll never be able to work through this!" this is a sign that you are pushing yourself too hard too soon. It is never a good idea to push yourself too hard too soon. This only leads to discouragement. Acknowledge what you can and cannot do confidently, and push yourself as much as you feel comfortable. Only you will know what you can and cannot manage.Remember, a programming language is a language. You can't always take it in chunks or sentences, without first piecing the sentences together. It's the same with writing novels. Not only do authors understand the sentences they write in their novels, but they choose the words they use based on impact, on context, and on language structure. Nothing they write is written just because... or at least it shouldn't be. Coding should be the same way. You write commands with an understanding of what they all do. You have a reason for every word or special symbol yo
