Hi cw! well the topic is going not about I phone but going about ear buds and ear pins whatever you can say. I usually do not use ear phone or ear buds well as from the other point of view the decision is removing the port of ear buds is not quite appealing because there are few who can think about a wireless ear buds wireless? that means you have to use a Bluetooth headset all the time except that there is no way I think to use the ear pins. If there is then let's discuss here. as far as the concern of buying the price is higher in india it is something 1000 dollars which is totally crap. No No I am ok with my 5 s. ThanksIshan

I followed the keynote yesterday. And I can only say, that I am very, very disappointed of Apple. Removing the headphone jack was the biggest mistake, they could have ever made. There are a lot of people, who connect their phones through this to their stereo systems, to listen to music. Normally, you could just connect the phone, plug your charger in, and that's it. Now, this is impossible. And I really don't see the inovation here. The only thing I see is, that Apple found a new way of binding their customers even more to themselves. Now, you can't just buy any headset anymore. Now, you have to buy the expensive crap from Apple.Oh. And while I am talking about expensive crap. Are they serious with these Airpods? I mean, they only have a runtime of barely five hours. And again. They only work with Apple products. I have a bluetooth headset here, that has almost twice as much power. As you can see, I am pretty annoyed with Apple right now. And I really ho
 pe, that no one will buy this new phone. I hope, it will be a fail. But of course I know, that there will be many people, who will get this thing, simply because it's Apple. I can only hope, that my IPhone SE will still work for many, many years. And after that, well, I will have to look further into Android, I guess...

hi.Ok, here is my opinion on this issue.I personaly don't see what the big fuss is about. To be quite honest, I hardly ever use the 3.5 mil jack on my phone, so this makes no difference to me whatsoever. I could care less what apple did with the jack. As a matter of fact, I think these 3.5 mil things are just old technology. Technology is ever-changing, and we need to except that. We can't stop change, and we can't always get what we want in life, but that's no reason, in my opinion, to stop supporting apple, or their excellent accessibility standerds. It is thanks to them that I have a phone that is accessible, and I am not going to stop supporting them. I will get the new phone as soon as I can, and when something breaks, I am going to willingly pay the money for a replacement.I have also heard people say that they don't like this change because if their phone goes dead and they are using those headphones, there is no way to plug the ch
 arger in, because the lightning port is being used for those headphones. I repeat, this does not matter to me. Even if I did use those headphones, I will make sure my phone is charged before I do anything with them. I'm seriously scared that people are going to stop buying and/or stop supporting apple over a simple little issue like this, and I am very irritated, because I want to see the Iphones continue. I am confident that apple will continue to build accessibility into their products, because they have not let me down yet.I now close my post by asking this question. If it wasn't for apple, where would we be today? I urge all of you to think about this before we criticize apple on this issue. What is more important to you? Having a phone with all these accessibility features that is useble by us, or not being able to use a simple 3.5 mil headphone jack? I would think it is accessibility.

Yeah no, I cannot imagine beating this game with 1 or 2. You probably need at least a team of 5, maybe 4 if they're the few that get a lot of coverage and you also have at least 2 that do well in the Irroadium fight. The reason that works in Pokémon is because you can teach Pokémon lots of moves of different types for coverage, plus it's overall just not as hard of a game. 9 out of 10 Manamon don't get enough coverage to make that viable, and some who do are slow and won't last against multiple enemies who can hit them super effectively.After not playing for a few weeks, I've started up a new game. I just got my second key and have Girmarine, Skiriel, Jiminite, Granate, Groller and Ratsal between level 22 and 24. No, that is nowhere near my final team, in fact I only plan to keep 2 of them around until the end, but for now, they provide backup I would otherwise be lacking, since the rest of my team members won't be showing up for a while. My final team is going to be Fauntozaur, Grandlan, Paladine transformation (forget how to spell), and the 3 lesser mythicals. It seems like no one has really given 2 of them much attention, so I'm curious to see what they do. As for the ice one, well I'm already using the other 2, and I haven't actually tried it yet, so why not? Galvana's going to be a bitch, though. My team's probably going to be in the high 50s, and you get him at 40. I suspect all the levelup herbs I save up are going to be used once I get tired of grinding it.

well if the problem really lies in the M4A format itself I don't think there's much that can be done to fix it, IOS and it's lack of supporting anything other than a single specific format for ringtones being the problem here which probably means I'll be stuck with a tone that has a gapI actually tried audacity as well just before this post, same thing happensas to wav though I can make another attempt at the loop and try converting that through itunes and see how it goes, will post backthanks for all the clarification thoughedit: holy shit it actually works! at least it did in this case... as long as your file you're going to convert in itunes is a wav fileonly question though is how the phone handles looping...thanks a bunch raygrote, thumbs up

That's my biggest complaint about grinding with some of these. It really is a slog. Some of them have only bite or headbutt and I'm grinding on things that either resist that damage or I'm killing things fast but getting a little bit of exp at a time. Wish there was a way to get exp from one and give it to another. Like jimitron. I'm not going to use it all the way through the game, because there are better choices. I used it until I could catch something better and then boxed it. So now that's just wasted exp, plus now I have to grind an erroir or mondevol to match the level of my team. Grinding one character isn't so bad but grinding an entire team takes some patience that I don't seem to have. I saw someone write in here or maybe it was on twitter that it was possible to power through the game with one or two and leave the rest as fodder. Not really sure that would work out too well just because of the number of types of damage you need. Seems
  like that would make the game much harder than it needs to be.

Blazond appears to be a one-trick pony. Does the whole flame-type attack thing pretty well, but gets virtually no other coverage that I can recall (correct me if I'm wrong on this)...and I believe it has bad special defense, which is problematic against water manamon. One-trick ponies are okay, depending on their stats and their potential, but personally I'd take Merembear over Blazone from my limited experience. Merembear may not actually hit as hard, but at least it can use Roar to jack up its attack, gets Torch naturally, and also gets Slash for a little extra coverage. Plus Hot-blooded is sorta neat for additional scorches. The one detriment of the Mutmo transformations is that they don't appear to have abilities. Elvond is good. Duskond is busted. And Blazond...I'm not sure. Peach, mind telling me what the stats on yours are, including its level? Will help my research.As for me, I just entered the jungle. My team is from level 30-33 at the moment (D
 rabao is lowest, Mondevol is highest), and it's very hard to level Feefeye because he seems to die in two hits of everything, and he can only reliably kill stuff that's weak to fighting. His PowerKick is brutal, and I love it. And I know he'll get better. It's just a tough time right now. Both of his fire moves (Flame Breath and Broil) run off his weakest stat, and don't hit all that hard. Drabao is also a bit of a pain to level, but at least his special defense is good and his Dragon Burst reliably two and three-shots stuff.I have seven level-up herbs right now. Just to see how it'd turn out, I decided to take each of the manamon who will transform for a spin with them. Garganchan ends up with something like 121 attack and 57 speed at level 39. Submenno has defenses in the mid-60s at level 39, so I'm hoping they continue improving apace or he's going to be a bit fragile. And Dragetull really doesn't get a big stat boost when he tra
 nsforms. I mean, he's not bad by any means, but he's not blowing me away either. Will probably be a more significant bump when he becomes Dragomier at 55. Really do wish there was a way to get DracoBreaker and Blaze Rampage earlier in this guy's career though. I'm hugely looking forward to Wing Slash for a little bit of STAB, anyway.Once this run is over, I'll have very little left to do with the game, so expect my posts to become far, far fewer in this thread.

Hi DD,I have good and bad news. Good news first. I know exactly what your problem is. The problem is that M4A is not a gapless format. This means that any time you save something in it, a small silence is added to either one or both ends of the file. This causes problems when you intend to make a perfect loop.Can you use any other file formats? If you have other format options, post here and I will try to find a way to get you better results.It's also possible that using another program to convert the wav to M4A may make the loop work better, though I'm not sure if the IOS decoder can handle gapless M4A playback of any kind. I am only speculating, but I think your best bet would be to try converting wav to M4A with Itunes if you can. I am leaving for vacation tomorrow so I won't be able to do much research for a few days, but i will try to see if I can dig up anything.So when I said earlier that I had good and bad news, I think you suspect by

Agreed about earbuds in general. Most types don't even fit in my ears, they fall out every half second, and just end up pissing me off. In fact, the Apple ones are the only set I've ever had that don't do this. But there is the fact that they're uncomfortable as hell, since they're made out of hard plastic. Not only are they physically painful to wear for more time than a standard game of archery in Audio Game Hub takes, the noise directly pounding on my eardrums is too overwhelming for me to be able to stand for more than short bursts. I can almost feel the insides of my ears recoiling whenever I wear them. And, no, the sound quality doesn't impress me all that much, either. Give me a nice pair of over the ear headphones any day, and I'm happy.Besides, the price tag on those airpods is just stupid.

Seven centuries or so after creating this topic, I thought I'd come back to it. So, I figured out the debug mystery. Basically, you have to press left alt, space, right control, and f2, and it takes a few tries because you have to press them at once so they'll register. And the d key in Death on the Road, from looking at the source code that was released recently, is probably a leftover from Road Splat, and it actually doesn't work, even if you type the file names for the cars. And here's another battle zone debug, turn on the AI, and if the AI isn't moving, press d. He/they will then tell you why they aren't moving. From the looks of it, this AI is a real coward; he's terrified of booby traps, plus he doesn't like moving when he's ducked.

Everyone should know by now, with it's walled garden that Apple is all about loading their products up with proprietary technology to tighten their noose around your neck to trap you in their ecosystem.Which is not surprising since Apple is slowly losing the mobile market to Android. Then all their iOS devices can take their proper place next to the Macintosh's as also rans.If I decide to upgrade my 5s it will be to an SE, I don't want a bigger phone, the size of the 5s is perfect. And if I can't get an SE, then I'll be looking at Android or just keeping the 5s. I'll be watching the price of the SE, with the release of the iPhone 7 series, I'm fairly sure the price of the SE will drop, if it does, then it might be worth the upgrade.To handle privacy with Voice Over, I simply don't do anything on my phone that might reveal personal information I'd rather not share while in public. I just make a reminder note, then wa
 it until I'm in a secure location, such as at home, then take care of those things I didn't want to do in public.I use my phone as a communication and information device, not for entertainment. So I don't need stereo or earphones and actually have the phone set to mono mode.Thanks to KNFB Reader's price, I'm already somewhat commited to Apple's ecosystem. I don't suppose my purchase of the iOS version covers both the iOS and Android versions. If I ever have to switch to Android, I won't enjoy paying for KNFB Reader again.

Yep, none of this surprised me and as I figured, most of the changes were under the hood and not huge. No headphone jack is going to tick me off, no matter what the appologists say, though I'm curious to hear what they think. Funny too, how apple didn't mention how they were planning to support people who were concerned about charging and listening to audio through headphones at the same time. $159 for a pair of earbuds? Screw that... I'll stick with my sonys that are half the price and probably sound twice as good. And of course they're going to say the lightning port allows for better audio, because they made the dang thing! There's no proof of that whatsoever, and apple themselves didn't even give facts to back it up. I'm done with the iphone after my 6 dies, or am just going to hunt down another model of the same. This is the biggest gripe that I have, but the pricetag being raised by about $200 for all of them doesn't please me either. 
 Say what you want about storage being doubled meaning more expensive phones... I think that's crap. another pathetic cash grab from apple.

Did you all know that those AirPods only last for 5 hours on a charge? That is not $160 material. I purchased a nice over the ear headset for $108 that has bluetooth, a 3.5 mil cable, and a Micro SD card reader. It has a battery rated at around 40 hours which is pretty accurate. In fact, the battery isn't used if you use the AUX cable. Besides, I can't stand earbuds. I heard somewhere that earbuds are bad for your ears anyway. If that is true, what's so great about them? I've always preferred headphones that go over the ears. I wonder if this decision is going to backfire catastrophically? I predicted a major backlash if this were to ever happen and honestly, I didn't think Apple would be stupid enough to pull that move.

Hello folks. Firefly, yes, the game generates a kind of replay file that goes from the beginning to the time of your death or success. Zubzero, you can hit tab to check the distance between you and the thing you want to avoid. Then you can manually avoid it, or kill from a safe distance. A safe distance is considered at least 5 tiles. Note that the gas slowly fades with time, so all you have to do is to step away from and explore the other areas while it cleans up.Best regards, Haramir.

guys, the problem isn't the actual process of splittingwhen I split the files it works finethe problem is after saving, if I reopen the new file in anything, not just goldwave there is a slight amount of added silence at either the beginning or end of the track, about 0.3 seconds to be preciseeven if I remove it and save they're just added right backthat is my problem, not the looping processI can do that just fine by using the time markers with copying and pasting into a new file, I'm not using cue points

Hello everybody, long time watcher but first time poster here!Over the past few months my partner and I have been working on developing an audio game for iOS and Android devices called Sound Stomp. Hi, While I don't agree that the headphone 3.5 Jak should have not been removed, it's good to have a small lightening adaptor that can make all the headphones of the traditional port connect to your iPhone.Well, iPhone 7 has stereo speakers, one at the bottom, and one at the top. I don't think anyone was saying that torrent sites are part of the deep web. hell, searching for the latest Justin Beber album is as easy as searching for it on Google with a + torrent adendum. Actually, this is becoming harder to do, due to the fact that many of the big name torrent sites are being taken down, but that's another topic entirely. It was just being pointed out that the media loves to criticize stuff that is not all bad, just because a few bad apples might spoil it from time to time.

A lightning adapter might present its own set of issues. It will basically be like plugging your wired pair of headphones into a splitter. I'm not sure if this issue is because I have a really old splitter or not, but whenever I've plugged speakers into one especially, the volume was decreased by at least half, and I had to crank the speakers way up to get the same amount of sound out of them. There is also the issue that the audio sometimes crackles and is generally unpleasant to listen to. This adapter seems like it's basically the same concept as a splitter, so who's to say it won't present these issues? Also, there are quite a few situations where this will be an inconvenience at best and a major pain in the ass at worst. Say you're playing an audio game, and your phone is about to die, destroying all the progress you've made. Should you really have to stop playing just because your phone needs to charge? i know, that's a first world pro
 blem, but frankly, it's dumb. And then there are privacy issues. Someone talked about texting, and, while I think that's a valid point, the huge elephant in the room is really that, if you're in a location where people might overhear what you're typing, someone very well may be able to sniff out your passwords. And who wants to carry around an extra accessory just so that their logins, banking transactions and so on can be more secure?

I read that removing the headphone jack made the phone more water resistant.The iPhone 7 will be sold with  a 3.5 mm to lightning adapter for those with headphones.I use headphones when playing stereo games, but the iPhone 7 will have stereo speakers so the headphones might not be necessary.It will also have a variable vibration so the vibration pattern might tell you who is contacting you.

You're exactly correct, I was just using it all for testing purposes. My end goal, since I'm still a beginner with arrays, was to press a key that spawns an enemy. Just to be sure that I got the whole handle thing down, you know? I suppose a better approach would be to just have key_1 be used to add another slot to an array? Also, if I did make the bool moving global and I had multiple enemies spawned, would that one bool control all of them at once? In regards to if they're moving or not.

The standard OpenAL implementation does not support HRTF as far as I know, but the OpenAL Soft software implementation does. You can download it here. With OpenAL Soft you should be able to enable HRTF in all games that use OpenAL for sound. It's pretty awesome

I paid close to that amount for a wired headset a few years ago. The headset was and is pretty good, but they do or did worked on everything I want to use them on. I guess they will not work on the new IPhone 7. rofl. I really don't like the fact they removed the jack. I do wonder if the camera system of the IPhone 7 plus will over come that for alot of people. Some may choose to take alot of pictures with their phones. As for hooking headphones in to phones, the only use for that is to listen to some stuff. The IPhone has the music app and there is and or was audio games for the IPhone that depends on having no delay over the headphones. If all you do is to talk on it, then headphones are not require, but if you are texting, you might want some hooked in so that you are not overheard when it comes to VO reading what you type. Ugg is pretty much what I got to say about it.

Not impressed.the apologists say that Apple has done away with the CD drive, the floppy drive, and so on, but these devices had external clones one could plug in to minimize the loss.  IN this case, we're discussing a standard that has held on for roughly 50 years, a standard that Apple actually made famous.  While Sony can boast that it made music portable with walkman devices, Apple introduced the iPod and revolutionized the way we consumed media.  with in just a few years, the concept of not owning a pair of standard earphones became a thing of the past.  My question: why is now the right time?  Why not then?  What is so special about now that it should work so flawlessly?  What am I missing here?

Oh, I see the issue now. You do call the enemy move method from inside a loop, but only when you actually press the key. That's to be expected in that case. So, I was right in a sort of way before, just expressed my point poorly.Either give up on this approach to enemy movement entirely and make them move automatically through an if check in the loop, i.e. call the correspondingly modified move method every x milliseconds directly from within the loop, or make the bool moving argument global to the entire enemy class instead of just belonging to the move method. Like this, it's of absolutely no use to you at the moment. If you did this, you would then do the following in your main loop, besides keyboard commands:if (standard.moving) standard.move();It's not a very good approach but hey, it would work. I assume the entire single enemy handle called standard and the key that's supposed to trigger the looping movement are all there just for tes

Hit Alt e for edit then hit o for edit q points than hit s to split files. First tab to browse to tell it where to put the split files. Then tab to methid of naming split files and hit down arrow untill you hear use space file name and number. That will split up your file into tracks and the part you want won't have any scilence. You then just have to change it from a wav file to an M4A file.

If Apple stuff works the way I think it works, apps that are deleted from the app store will stay on your phone unless and until you delete the app or wipe the phone. Also, when you get a new phone, if you restore from iCloud, it won't restore apps that are no longer available from the app store.

It sounds like you are recording the clip instead of cutting it. If you cut the clip out of the song using Goldwav and q points you can have more control over the clip. I think when you are recording you are ending up with some scilence before or after the clip. I'm asuming you are recording this because you have no idea what Q points are. I can explain how to cut a file using q points if you would like.

as I stated before I'm saving the file as M4A so I can just rename it to have itunes recognize it later, whatever these points are I don't know but I'm not getting any messages, all I do is direct copy from the song in question and there should be no silences, which is true in the new tone file until I save it, after which there comes the looping problem again

I hope this finally pushes people to improve bluetooth audio. I wouldn't mind using wireless headphones with my iPhone or any other device if the two issues I outlined above were corrected. I can't stand the horrid 8 KHZ sound when using the microphone and the audio latency. I guess we'll just have to see what happens. Apple did this with the DVD drive and I really didn't care. Then again, I always viewed disks as inferior. Maybe it will just be something that we will get used to. I don't know. I'm sorry for exploding earlier. I'm still annoyed at all this proprietary nonsense and bad planning with a single port. It's just like that MacBook with the one USB C port.

The only thing I can think of is that you are also saving the q points. This happens when you save it as a wav file or another format that supports them. Do you get a message asking you if you want to store the q points? If so hit no if not I'm not sure what is creating this issue.

Whether or not the new iPhones come with or without an ear phone jack makes no difference to me because I'm not upgrading from my 5s because I don't feel like spending $400 on a new phone.Even if I did upgrade, the lack of an ear phone jack wouldn't bother me because I've never felt the need to use ear phones with any cell phone.

Hello,My next iPhone will be the SE unless Apple releases a newer 4 inch phone when I finally decide my 5S is retired. I don't particularly like the idea of proprietary wired and wireless connections. If they're going to do this, why not put two ports on the device so you can charge and use wired headphones at the same time? Also, why the hell are they charging $159 for a pair of wireless earbuds. They'd better be really good earbuds or I'll be pissed. I'm not spending that kind of money on headphones ever again after my experience with Bose. Also, do these EarPods offer low latency as compared to bluetooth? Do they address the issue of crummy 8 KHZ mono audio when using the microphone? I'm sorry I'm being so harsh.
