HI, [[wow]]. just [[wow]].I have unlocked weapons and armor when it was needed for my estate but don't think I have gotten any quests for them. I have not unlocked food or belt yet. Nor even opened up the jewelry store.Think the most production slots I have had at any given time is about 50. So 100? [[wow]] but I can believe it. I know armor takes a long time and can believe it will take that many slots to do a lot. I know my whole price for those slots was way over 100 million. What was the cost for slot 100?I have done approx 2100 of the 5000 automations. And to think there is a 1 one holy cow. yes the boost time is maxed out at 45 minutes.I have currently finished all 5 million sale of all products except for the following:weapons just did 1000belt doing 1000pots just finished 1 millionsilver necklace doing 1000diamonds doing 1000diamond ring doing 1000I have 450 minutes automation now.and yes there is a boost slot for plus 1 for both raw diamonds and diamonds.now I no longer have 8 quests anymore, as I have ran out of products that can give me quests. i have also finish the buy 1 automations quest. so now each time i restart i will only get 6 quests now, and when i finish the 5 million pots quest, my quest list will be 1 less again. hope more items will be added to this game soon. when u are doing slow production items like armor and pots, it's a good idea to have more than 100 slots. just save up using bag of gold again and again, it's really worth it in the long run.

Alright, folks, time for me to hop, skip, and jump in here, and throw out a few things.First, I have played and completed the Longshot story mode, and have a few things to say here. I actually thought I also had a couple of corrections to the Quicktime Event guide for it, but it turns out, um, I don't. It is in fact just me who was dumb, for like 20 minutes, reading the wrong quicktime event. So... Woops. Still, I have a couple things to throw in.1:  I absolutely have to continue to campaign for a list of the dialog choices, and probably an expanded quicktime guide if there are any significant changes to events based on those choices. What lead me to the decision to bring this up again actually isn't the fact that I don't necesarily know what choice I'm making for the big decisions. It was a little thing. The questions the coach asks you... I hated looking dumb for always picking the answer on the left even if it was wrong. Haha. So if that i

Thanks!2:  There is a significant difference between playing as Devon during Longshot and playing a regular game. That difference is more than just the fact that you strictly control Devon, it's the way passing works. In a regular game, our accessibility instructions tell us to tap the face buttons in sequence until we get a vibration indicating an open receiver. This seems to work in a regular game, but in Longshot, I eventually figured out that it does not. Devon will, in fact, throw at whichever receiver you press the button for first. This, I believe, is what lead to so, so many dropped passes for me in story mode, and initially caused my confusion about whether I had to try and catch the ball or not. It would be pretty sweet if this mechanic worked the same way universally.3:  There is a moment in stor
 y mode, (no spoilers), where you are challenged not to throw to a certain receiver. However, the buttons the receivers are assigned is determined, I assume, based on their positions. It would be nice if, just for that moment, the receiver the challenge says not to throw to could be specially identified somehow, either with a warning rumble instead of an immediate throw, or an audio cue that warned us which one they were at the time. While I understand this might be seen as a minor concern, I believe we should have the option of completing or not completing that challenge the way a sighted player would.4:  There are 2 points where things have to be thrown at targets in a competition-style event. I would seriously love to have an audio or rumble-based targeting system for these, as I sort of hated just tossing everything away until I could skip the event.5:  I would also love it if this same targeting mechanic were applied to Steer the Ball quicktime moments, d
 espite the fact that i somehow managed to complete them in story mode. It did take some trial and error, and some luck, and it'd be nice if we could have an indicator of the proper direction as we steered the ball as well.6:  Speaking of skipping events, it should be noted that not all quicktime events are skippable. The one I got stuck on for no reason because I was looking at the wrong event was actually one of these. No matter how many times I tried it, there was only ever a retry button. Also, the moment where you throw things at targets had to be skipped with the circle button after you had failed, not by going down to skip and pressing X. Just something to toss in there.I get that these things may take some serious work to do, but if we don't ask, they definitely won't happen. There is supposedly a braille tablet, but like the orbit, it looks like that's not going to happen.Someone on here posted a thread listing all the braille displays which never took off.I went to a school for the blind, and when we did spelling tests, yes they still had them back then, we had to write the words out twice, both contracted if it had any, and uncontracted.This blitab, yeah, that's what they're calling it is promising big things.I guess we'll see, if it ever does get released.

I went to settings/ease of access/narrator and enabled the setting that shows the introductory prompt when narrator is enabled. I turned narrator off and on again and it somehow started functioning.(edit)Easy access? I apparently need sleep.(/edit)

@Enes, I get what you mean when you say that you learnt spelling when you started using your PC to type. One question though, since I've seen that your mother tongue language is Turkkish, for what language does the above statement apply, English or Turkish? I ask this question because I myself learnt the correct spelling of English using my PC most of the time but it was a tough job as I had to check every now and then how a word was written when I hadn't come it across before. Talking about my mother tongue language, all of its spelling I learnt when I had braille books in my hand. We hardly ever used contractions. I also learnt Italian having absolutely no contact with Braille, but I won't do that mistake again if I begin to learn French as I plan to do in the following years.

I recall that PACMates cost around $300-400 to build, and the 1000% markup is ... to pay programmers and tech support, I think? And that system doesn't scale well, anyway, since it's a tangled mess of levers and such that have trouble enough with the interior dots on one line.Sure, the Orbit Reader exists. An effective means of manufacturing units apparently does not, however. I'm sure there's a legit financial or legal reason they can't just build a factory and ... I dunno, one a day? I think one a day would have been enough to start taking orders by now. I don't know the costs and hoop-jumpings involved, though. I know only that this looks precarious, from where I'm slouching. ... And it's still just 20 cells. Can we teach an octopus to read, then translate what it sees to braille? Then you would have a tablet and a pet predatory shape-shifting sea-ninja to protect your home from gar. And, being a service animal, the social 
 media coverage would provide minutes of entertainment!(... At this point, I'm not sure the Seeing Eye Octopus isn't the best possibility.  )

If you want an online game to play, and one that is an fps, play swamp. Its the greatest audiogame to ever be created, and it doesn't have all the drama of a pvp only fps because its 99 percent team work only, and also aprone actually knows how to manage games and seems to be the only one who can do it propperly. If you don't want an fps, play scrolling battles your world. Pretty neat game. Also, I met some pretty great friends on there. Conour, whether you've stopped doing robot spamming or say your going to stop in the future, it doesn't change the fact that you did it in the passed. You got banned, your not getting unbanned, so move on with your life. Afterall, its just a game. And asking on here isn't going to change anything anyway so no point trying.There were some earlier comments about the readme missing info and other stuff. While i don't disagree that it could be better, its way, way better than it was. Before, it was just a crappy file sam wrote in like 2 minutes that made him sound like a 12 year old. Some things from it were "This is just a quick guide to get you on your feet. Once you practice and get good, you can chalenge the big league rs players" or something like that. Not the best readme at all. At least now it looks more like a manual.

Thanks for your feedback  I agree that the pace is slow and the levels can be too long especially the last ones. I'll try to fix that. There is no music per se, just an everlasting piano run that tells you whether you're going up or down the stairs. My opinion on Braille is that we certainly should teach it as it is still used on things like elevators, and even some schools are now labeling their classrooms with room numbers now, However, do to the high cost of Braille displays as well as lack of innovation in the market as stated earlier, I don't think Braille will ever be to blind people what print is to sited people. Personally, I still read and use Braille, but it's not as relevant to me as it use to be, and I still prefer audio books as I find I do not absorb information very well when reading with Braille. These days, I'm more of a Braille gamer than a Braille reader, though.

@Dranelement, Thank you for the kind comments  it's the fact you guys are so active here that motivates me and makes it worthwhile! so thank you@Niklas, enable the combat sounds in the main menu before loading a game, once that's done you choose a speed and it procedurally plays them in battle, I couldn't get it to work well enough for my own liking but I've left it in there for you to play with As for creatures sounds it's not in the plans but could be a thing, I'll note it down  and thank you for the kind comments and support

Honestly, what we need are full page Braille Displays that can be connected to computers. Physical hard copy Braille isn't very portable and can't change dynamically based on what you want to read. If the sighted get full refreshable screens, why are we still stuck with a single line of refreshable Braille that must continuously scroll back and forward to read?Imagine what a full page of Braille could do. You could learn how a particular screen was laid out. It would make charts, tables, and complex math equations easier to read. You could receive more document format info such as line indent and spacing. The future is refreshable Braille. If I can get my hands on a refreshable Braille page, I'll have little to no use for physical Braille paper.If cost is the issue, why doesn't someone come up with a cheaper method of production? There's been no innovation in the electronic Braille market for a long time.

I was actually going to comment on that. RTT, I imagine you'll be able to turn the music down or up to your preference, that seems to be a basic game feature and has been for pretty much the entire game history, meaning all games. Also, I do like the fact that this is not one of those scores you'll have to turn up your phone, computer, etc to hear.

I  definitely  disagree with the hole sam is a stupid  immature kid thing, it seems like the only reason people  fro  those kinds of  insults at Sam is because they know he’s  Young and it’ll get to him more than most other  insults.To who ever said windows can only run on 4 gb or more that’s a new one on me. I’ve tried  reinstalling the game yes, but not redownloading.About bootcamping, i’ll  admit i’ve been putting it off for a wile. How ever I might if that’s the only thing left I can do.Also i’m no programmer, but I think maybe the game just checks at  certain times. For example on redspot I  always get flagged for speed hacking if I let the logo play or I do the speaker test. Also I think the alarm was removed on redspot because now if I get flagged on there it just closes the game.

Hey Dark,thanks for the detailed feedback !I fully agree that the "game" or rather narrative experience doesn't present much of a challenge.I really stripped down the scope of this so far as to I was sure I can actually finish it before the deadline of the jam.But of course that left much to be desired in regards to difficulty / challenge etc.Regarding locating sounds from behind: The game uses HRTF spatialized sound sources, (Steam Audio). In theory this should give better results than traditional 3D audio, but it's the 1st time I used steam audio for anything so there's most definitely room to tweak settings improve the mixing to make it hopefully work better.This will probably not be the last audio game I make so every bit if criticism/feedback helps me to improve . I would imagine that you're held to a higher standard because you were on the beta team and should know better. You've also apparently gotten around the ban according to some of your posts, so I'm not particularly sure why this is a question or discussion. You were warned for repeatedly using robots to lag players, and you should've known that going LD to avoid a stun is a clear cheat. There's not a warning for that, and there's really no way to make that fair. Sure I could've warned you, but the stun was landed fairly, so there's that and you'd have been rewarded for cheating either way.

I do agree, much as I like Nvda it shouldn't  be the only output method for a game  not when people use a range of screen reading programs or indeed none at all. The general idea I think at least from what Freeman69 said was to use the tolk library which supports a range of screen readers as well as sapi, though that will probably have to wait for his next game.

Hi I was glad to give this a try. The game was quite understandable, it was also nice to play an audiogame with a full first person movement interface and the mouse. I don't have a xbox controller, but using the  mouse together with the w a s d keys was  nice, rather reminded me of our very own audio first person zombie shooter, Swamp. The soundscape was particularly fun, though I didn't seem to be able to tell when objects were behind me if I tried a full 360 degree turn which I did just for the sake of experience.My only major criticism of the game is that it is a little too easy and conflict free with comparatively little difficulty presented. All I needed to do was pretty much hold down the s key, line up the guide sound and keep on trucking. Being a forest one would expect there to be,  well at least some trees to get around and maybe more hazardous things too? Of course I do manifestly have the advantage of playing a
  lot of audiogames and being used to audio navigation, still I always doo feel a little sad when someone presents a wonderfully sounding proof of concept which features audio navigation  a familiar type, but doesn't add in as much by way of challenging or playable elements for those already familiar with such navigation, after all audio first person games have existed now for a good 15 years. this isn't intended to be overly harsh, I do realize that for projects such as audiojam shorter games presented to people not familiar with audiogames are  order of the day, and as I said I do appreciate the use of sounds, voice acting and atmosphere of the  game, and the work that has gone in to creating it, for all it was rather short and sweet and a little familiar.

I can kinda see a sufficiently corner-cutting teacher leaving out the spellings of whole word contractions. Not so much things like tion or ance. Still, spelling tests with no contractions allowed really should be required, if this sort of thing is common.

Well, I don't know how common they are, but I certainly use one... though I suspect they may be more common in the US than you might think. haha. Power supply shouldn't be a factor, as I know we definitely have the same power supply but they're I would say relatively commonplace here.  I'd say most houses I go have one, I don't personally know anyone who still boils water on the stove. For myself, we have two... an electric kettle and a hot water boiler that keeps boiled water hot so we can just get what we need quite hot when we need it. The lattor is an Asian convenience, I believe... since I've never seen one here outside of the hot water dispensers on a water cooler.  And I know the other name as well, which, if memory serves, is spelt cafetier, not cafeteir. I'll have to look into the grinder options and see what I come 
 up with. I prefer electric simply for the speed... especially if I have company over. I don't fancy brewing 60 grams of coffee for four or five people all by hand. But it would be nice to find a grinder that holds unground beans in the hopper and when I grind it only dispenses as I go and have it all go into a container at the bottom.

I kept it intentionally simple though (also to keep the scope of the game jam manageable for 1 person in 3-4 days). The game is set in a 3D space in which you can move around freely & it uses spatial audio & HRTF processing.I'm fairly new to audio games but I find accessibility through audio very important & something I want to incorporate more into my work as a sound designer. I think that with new technologies for spatial sound there's maybe a lot of untapped potential for audio games & I'd like to explore this further.I haven't gotten much feedback on this yet & I guess it has issues, so I'd be very happy about any feedback/criticism I can get . I have no problem with the game defaulting to using SAPI since it comes with Windows and doesn't rely on any particular brand of screen reader.My message was in response to at least one message in this this disapproving of the game's use of SAPI and requesting that it be coded to use NVDA instead.

hi,The player, you are making a generalisation based on an extreme case. Just because your friend allegedly could read as fast  as a sighted person does not necesarily mean that all, or even most of braille readers can.Dragomier, while you may read 240 words per minute, that still pales in comparason to the speed achievable with a screen reader. Asault freak, my school teacher never taught me what contractions stood for. Also, even if she had, you are likely to forget, from not seeing the whole words. Also, through intonation of the screen reader I can be aware of most of the punctuation marks used. I stand by my earlier post that braille does not improve spelling. Like I stated earlier, writing without contractions through a computer was the first time I really started learning spelling.

Hmmm Orco I'm not really sure of your point there. Like Jim Kitchin's games, The spoonbill titles and probably more games than I can think of, Echo Quadrant uses Microsoft Sapi, which is available to everyone on a windows computer and these days even comes with a semi decent voice (I still remember the days when you'd get stuck with Microsoft sam).

Glad someone else uses the French press, also called a Cafeteir there Assault freak. Btw,  are electric kettles also common   Canada as they are in the uk? Myself, while I could use an electric grinder, I use a hand powered one. This actually isn't as much work as it sounds, indeed by the time the kettle is boiled I've usually got the beans ground. The grinderI have is designed to be used with the Cafeteir, so there is no issue with setting it, indeed if I did ever decide to use an electric one I'd probably also get it from  witards since I know their grinders don't burn the coffee as  when I get ready ground beans from them (which I occasionally do for expediency), they work out well. the ratio I use is two  tea spoons of beans for each I'd usually do of grounds, so if  am making coffee in my cafeteir  where I would usually use three tea spoons, I stick six tea spoons of beans into the grinder. 
 The grinder has a little draw at the bottom, and a boal  the top just under the grinding handle, so you just  spoon the  beans in the top, turn the handle until they're all done, then pull the draw out and empty it nto the Cafetier then add boiling water as normal. @Orco, I do remember hearing somewhere that the lack   electric kettles in the states is partly due to a difference in power supply, though I am not certain on that. I know  here the idea of having to boil water on the hobb sounds like a throwback to the  fifties or something you do  when camping in a caravan . Certainly I can say it was one of the things I really found odd when living in the states.

ewait, twice, I actually only did the linkdead thing once, and wasn't cleared from the ban list even though there are people who have done worse tan me. I don't know how it is with sam, but shouldn't impersonation be ranked as a higher offense than going linkdead to avoid a stun? Because from what I was told, people have impersonated asm, admins, and uka members, got banned for it, but then got unbanned. So acrodgint to this logic, I should also e unbanned. What kind of administration is this?

Hi guys, if you did not already see on the Empire Mud topic I had posted already, I'm hosting a copy of the Empire Mud codebase. It's Empire mud, with all its great features, a brand new world to conquer, and, most importantly, fair leadership. Today I spied a new and disturbing patch note entry for the next version of the mud, which reads• Immortals: Eedit adminflags: Immortals can now set administrative flags on empires including no-war and no-stealing, as needed. These flags are displayed on estats or empire  (shown to immortals only).It should not be difficult to see what this means. Though Khufu did not disable declaring war on the main server, he, or other immortals can arbitrarily decide to disable declaring war or theft activities for an empire with one quick command. I promise that administrators on our server will never disable an empire's ability to war for any reason. I find this change to be far more sickening than simply disabling war altogether, as it is just another resource for admins to show favoritism to empires by disabling competition.But enough complaints. I suggest that all of you will instead come to join the Rise of Empires server, where abuse of power in this way will never happen. Hay ernie, i don't know how to report this, but if you read this, adude is an admin in tk and he  just messed up the map main one and i think that he was the one who did that previous time. when i told him that it is prohibitted in the message of the day, he changed the message of the day without askin anybody. if you read it, plz remove adude from the admin's post. I think that you should probably bann him.  he also moved me multiple times from here to there and i am not an admin. scratch that, he just got the jail as well! hay! he jut  updted the message of the day to  ernie sucks a dick! i will edit the post to update you guys. O my god! this guy's messin with the game just because he can. If you don't like a game, don't fuckin play it! At least don't make other people loose their fun! o man! i am trapped in the jail, plz if any admin reads this post, come online and move me! that guy moved me here and trapped me.

Hi socheat and rori. thanks for the help and I am getting bennifit of this website called www.blindlogic.orgbut in reaper I have to use reapluggs  for pluggins so how accessible is the indian instrument section. Thanksand lastly is there any scripts I have to use for reaper in voice over? ThanksIshan
