Hi,Although I have only coded in bgt and am not likely to change that, honestly it's a delicate balance. I have to find that point where I can feel comfortable picking this game back up, as a player, and saying [[wow]], I feel this thing is complete.There's still a couple last things I would love to implement into this if I ever picked it back up again, however they are incredibly minor. It's also to do with the players too.I constantly ask myself, if I stopped here, would players mind? Are there missing features? Things I never got around to? Bugs left unpatched? Etc.I can't wait to see what is in the repo a year from now. That is, provided the domain is still alive. Currently looking for cheaper web hosting.Anyway, I'll sign off for now. Happy flipping!

A small bug I found, just to let people know, it looks like the present delivery option doesn' ttake into account reindeer time magic, so if you're doing calculations to see how many presents you should be producing for the number of toys youre making like I did, you have to take into account that the deliveries actually get worse by dividing the number od delivered presents by the time multiplier, like 400/224% is only 1.785 million toys created in 10 sped-up minutes.

This is not rare for rpgs. The whole idea would be since you are suposed to be playing the role of the main character, the character would, in theory, sound like anyone you wanted, including yourself. In a graphical game, the dialog from your character would simply show up as text, but in this instance, the text has to be read aloud by something. So the main character isn't being voiced by Sapi per say, it's only reading out loud text which is technically supposed to be unvoiced.

Hi,This is a nice editor. However, I have encountered some problems. 1. there is no way to open a file from other drives. the main focus of rides remains the C drive of the pc. I tried to go in settings and change that but it won't get out of c drive no matter how many back spaces I pressed. 2. if we don't open a file and press arrow keys sometimes it throws bgt runtime errors. that is not a big problem however it's a bug still. can you help me how to make it open files from my other drives like e: etc?REgards,Amit

Slight correction, as far as I can tell, if you hit escape in any menu, it exits the game without saving. So there's no hitting escape to back out of menus. If you hit escape, bam! Program closes and game is not auto-saved.That's why I was asking for the feature if we could either get a prompt, are you sure you want to exit without saving? Or, just allow us another way of exiting besides the escape key.Thanks for the assist though Aaron, its appreciated.

there are several things that make me suspect that it's now getting near to christmas. The first, is that it's roughly six weeks since I saw my first advert on television encouraging  me to celibrate the season of peace, goodwill and the importance of family togetherness and warm fuzzy feelings towards the rest of human kind by going and spending lots and lots of cash on various material items,  h, methinks there is something rather wrong here.The second, is that there is a decided nip in the air these days. Similar to space company the object is to  and progress by buying upgrades, however the object here is to save christmas itself by the power of your toy making and present wrapping clicks. With lots of cute upgrades from the chance to higher elves to inventively decorate the reigndeer's stables, this is definitely a game that should get you in the mood for christmas,  that is to say in the mood for accumulating lots and lots and lots of worldly goods in as short a time, with as little expenditure of resources as possible. I don't know of any other accessible browsers on macOS. Don't use Firefox. It's useless on macOS and I stopped using it on all other platforms as well.

Oh, Cool! 80 cards is going to be a real game changer, no pun intended, as it will now require actually that people incorporate more different kinds of cards and strategies into their decks if they care to take full advantage.I'll probably convert to 55 next time I play online, and I have a way to keep the save files from screwing up via the very simple way I manage the game with some cutting and pasting but leaving each version of the game in its own folder.But really pleased by this one.

Cool, here is the changelog for anyone who's interested: ***beta55Crazy Party is now available in Russian.All the decks are now in txt files and the game can manage them of course. When you launch Crazy Party a first time with an old save file, the game will try to convert the old decks into txt files. It is recommanded to make a backup of the save file and the txt decks before that.The decks can have up to 80 cards.In a battle, you can press the keys HOME and END in your hand.Some new battle cards.Some old card are changed: the coagulation factor junks now in the discard, the lightning rod is now level 1, and some other minor changes.New try to fix the network bugs.

I disagree about lack of robbing, since I'd love to see the single player of the game expanded into a full colonization and settling affair where you could build a hole  society as I said previously. Imho single player and multiplayer should work differently in this instance.

@zakc93 I'll have you know that my parents have been very good with taking care of me for almost 18 years that I've been on this planet, I'd hardly call them uninformed. Each parent razes their kid differently, there is no expected standard for how to raze a visually impaired child. As for mainstream schools, they do go out of their way to purchase technology for VI students. Sometimes, especially for my school, they make you use their technology and don't allow you to use anything else that they don't have experience with or don't like, despite weather or not you feel more comfortable using it. They also don't let me bring in my personal computer because it has to go through a process, to make sure it has the software they think you need on it. So basically, they're restrictive in terms of technology. Apparently, my school is the only school that does this.

there is a good chance it will or could just use your screenreader I've seen games like fable3 for instance that have both male and female and both voiced but it takes a large amount of time and efert and could've set the game back an extremely large amount of time that and it's not that big of a deal or strange that you get the fun of guessing what your char sounds like

I think you've damaged the digitizer under the screen which is what does the heavy lifting for processing touch and multitouch gestures. As for audio skipping, I don't know what would cause that because they use SSD chips, not physical drives But that could have been damaged too, you never know. It would be cheaper to get a new tablet I would imagine, rather than trying to procure the components and fix that.

To the main character voice Thing:You should think of it as only written text. That is in fact quite common even in high budget rpg games nowadays. There is no actual voice for your character, I guess to make it more immersive.In AHC it has to be voiced in sapi because we can't read that written text. Oh well, we could using a Braille Display... But I think you get my Point.Well, the mixture is a bit strange nevertheless. I don't know a game where the main character has no voice but talks that much at the same time. But I don't mind at all. We will see how it fits into the main Impression of the game.

Ok, here are some more thoughts after playing around with the beta a little more. First, I had success! I managed to win my second fight! I am still trying to get the timing right with blocking. I still get tagged even if I react just as the rumble starts.I think the faster rumble is for high shots, and a slower rumble is for body. That being said, I still can't dodge to save my life.  Of course, it is important to dodge as well as block, because when you block, you take some limb damage. But, no matter what I do I still can't dodge using the left stick. It may be a timing thing (probably is a timing thing). I'll of course have more later. I am going to try and play a game of "don't get hit" without hitting my opponent, just to practice timing.Jeremy

I was talking with a friend of mine on Facebook the other day who was shocked that the price of the game was so low. Then she asked me why the main character was voiced by Sapi when the other party members had human voices. I explained that it was probably partly for technical reasons. Since the character would have whatever name or gender the player gave him/her, it would be a impossible or at the very least impractical for him or her to be voiced by a human. THen of course I suppose the idea is for the player to use their imagination in regard to what that character might sound like, sort of like in Shadow Rine.

Yeah, BARD is fairly tight with their content, you can search book share's library all you want without logging in, but with BARD, you have to log in before you can do anything at all, other wise all you'll get is instructions how to get verified to use it.

Hi, I have downloaded the game, thank you. I will post information on the topic, will this be okay? Just a recommendation. When playing this game I like the robotic voice, but sometimes it gets to a level where you can’t understand a lot of what is being said. Spoilers ahead! Near the end of episode zero win the AI asks what to do with code 7,  or you ask the AI about code 7, I thought you guys would make the AI reply with, play the game and enjoy it or something like that. This isn’t necessary, but it would be very hilarious. Please don’t take offence. This game is very good.

I guess this is the first digit of the next byte?Apparently after you get past your hex data you get the bytes in the specified charset, so I set my bytes per row to 4 so I could read it. I just wish the offsets didn't come with all the fuckin 0s. Up and down arrow navigates by row, and the first thing NVDA reports is the offset, then your bytes. So I set my offset base to decimal so I could tell the difference.

Jimmy, all the pro version does is remove the ads. And it's an in-app purchase by the way. As for Orco's comments about the app they are all true if you own an echo, so if you do the app isn't that necessary unless you want to use Alexa on the go. At this point, though, Amazon did finally fix the voiceover/talkback deficiency that was hiding the Alexa button from the app, so you can now use Alexa natively. Although if you want a clutter-free, no-frills interface, Ultimate Alexa ultimately wins the day. Certainly better than getting the Amazon Tap to go along with your echo. As for music exclusivity, this restriction would only apply to Alexa-enabled apps, i.e if you were to get the Clazio Spark all-in-one Alexa/Google Home speaker, that would be able to stream music. Amazon has developers apply separately for their music services, and probably would not allow a separate app to do that considering Amazon already has native apps on Android and IOS. Indeed, if you ask Alexa to play some music through the native app, it will simply open amazon music itself.

Not only that, they are using a protected dtb format, i.e the daisy book files themselves contain drm. Rather amusing that Learning Ally uses unencrypted mp3's. Back when they were rfb&d, they had the pincode protection for all their audio+ materials. Bard on pc? WEll, the only thing I can see possible, very mediocre at best, is running bard mobile through bluestacks, or more directly through android x86.

Okay, what the fix paperjam is, is occasionally your machines will break. I'm not sure where the message telling you this has happened is, but if  check the upgrade it'll say how many you have to fix if any, for example if all your machines are fine it'll say 10.10, but if one has broken it'll say 9/10 and you can click to fix it.You can also tell directly by looking at your amount of wrapped presents, though that gets harder to notice when you have a lot of modifyers and bonuses. hth.

Nope Tjt, I think it was all about systematisation and control. It was a school for the blind so everyone had to be "blind" to fit into the same mould and anyone who deviated from that whether in behaviour or even in amount of vision had to be made to fall into line with their system. My brother coined the term "clockwork mice" for those who'd finished specialist schools, and it was unfortunately quite  accurate one.

I can't help you with Bard on desktop, but I can tell you this much: When I used Learning Ally for textbooks in school, the daisy books were literally unencrypted mp3 files with other files designating the structure of the book so the player could interpret them. I found this sort of amusing. Seems with Bard books this is not the case, IIRC they are .3gp files using the AMR wb+ codec, and I don't konw of anything that supports that format, let alone being able to actually play the files as they might be encrypted hence the authorization key.For now, I just listen to the books on my IPhone, but I'm not sure what options are available to you if you don't have an IOS device. I really have tried to stay away from getting specialized hardware like a book reader that is meant for the blind, I instead want to integrate as much of my needs into the mainstream world as possible. I know if I didn't have an IPhone, listening to Bard books would be a whole lot more annoying. This saddens me a fair bit.

Okay as has been said the Dazy vormat is generally to do with navigation and can  applied to either audio or text, indeed a lot of dazy audio (such as those from the Rnib in England), are plane old mp3 files, so you can play them in most anything so long as you don't want the specialised navigation features, and to have those there are several dazy playing programs kicking around, eg, Dolphin used to have a free one called easy reader.Bard however have additional layers of incription aside from the dazy formatting, and it's that incription that means they can only be played on authorised systems, and to get something authorised you need to first have a Bard account, second contact Nls themselves with your name and details and  system cerial number of the player, and third, either download or install a specifically generated authorisation key for that system. I have a nasty feeling that the reason all this occurs only  specialist players is so that Nls can keep the publisher's happy and be sure nobody unauthorised is listening to the books, which is why I suspect, unless they had someone write a specific application like audibles, they won't have a bard application for mac or pc.Btw, if your wondering how I know all this being English, it's because I helped Mrs. Dark sort her player out.

The one thing I had to get used to, though as I think about it, it makes sense, is that each byte seems to appear twice, but it's simply because the screen reader reads the whole byte rather than the individual numbers.So for 0x15 the first time you hear 15 you are on the one, the second time you hear it you are on the five.I'd recommend making a small text file to experiment with to help you get used to how the screen reader presents the hex editor to you before you start working on a real file.Oh, and by the way, I use JAWS.

Same here actually, I think I was using the level 350 cheat at the time, so maybe that's the problem?And yes, either a health regen stat, or health regen passively scaling with points in the health skill would be nice.Maybe a store item that completely fills up your hp? The program actually crashes flat on it's face and exits when the runtime error pops up, because this wine on his servers says something about application tried to create a window and other warnings when you start it. When the runtime window tries to pop up, it ujst flat exits. He might need XServer, since I think it talks about that, but you'd still need to do something strange with I don't even know. As far as I know wine applications cannot interact with each other so we couldn't have the runtime meter intercepting the window. Real shame too, because linux servers give massively awesome pings.
