The 32 cell displays on allot of notetakers usually didn't feel too cramped for me, but I'd imagine that a 20 would.40 is more ideal though.IMO (slow) autorefresh is agonizing, and takes away much of the usefulness of a braille display.I would much prefer manual.Bluetooth isn't a must, but if you could pay like 50 bucks more for a model with it, than that would be great, since really, that's as much as you should have to pay at this point for decent Bluetooth (E.G. doesn't drop constantly or take for ever to scan slash pair) anyway.With all the sub 150USD phones that have it, their just isn't any good excuse for it to cost so much outside of HQ audio or connection stability critical stuff like robotics; I'm not asking for multiple device profiles or switching on the fly either.Same goes for physical memory or an SD card slot, things that are truthfully very useful for notes, but are often artificially overpriced.I'd probably pay around 200USD extra for both things together, since you need firmware and batteries, and it means more things can go wrong, so if you offered repairs you may need more people or someone with more experience.Speaking of batteries, I'd be fine with plain old double or triple A's on a wireless model to drive costs down if needed, they do it with mice right? :-)As for the total, I'd really just hope for under 1000, since it seems foolish to try and go from 3K or so down to 500 in one go, and I insist on good build quality, both externally and internally; plus, maybe an included carrying case and cleaning kit, though I'd buy those things separately for like 60 and 25USD each as long as they were decent quality.I haven't had a modern braille display for quite a long time though, mostly I'm going off my friend's experiences, so take my opinion for what that's worth.

Just a bit of info for Ken's volume 1 trials that I found out while I was doing them that aren't marked here... in trial 8, for me I had to reverse direction for the second and third shoryuken, when I canceled the first one with VT it switched sides, because I was using headphones I was trying to continue it for like 5 minutes but it wasn't working and I couldn't figure it out.Trial 10, for whatever reason seems to work much easier if you're not standing in the corner. It's probably doable regardless, but in the corner a basic hadouken cancel becomes a pretty tight link, and the only way I could finish it was by doing it from the starting position and resetting if I failed.

Swamp may have been designed to be accessible to a blind audience, but by no means does that mean it should be the game's only audience.  Regardless of the initial target demographic of games like Swamp and Manamon, that does not change the fact that these are objectively good games.  Especially in these current days where, to be brutally honest, an overwhelming of mainstream video games are complete trash, it's nice to play a game that gives off the vibe of a developer who actually gives a shit about their product.  Mainstream gaming these days has pretty much turned into over-saturation of micro-transactions and how pretty the graphics are.  I must say, I am quite sick and tired of spending 60 or more USD on games that I can 100% complete in as little is under 6 hours.  If great games like Swamp get more exposure, the accessible games in general will get more attention.  More attention means more financial potential, thus resulting in much higher developmental interest and potential in the field. To think that there could one day be an audio based division of professional eSports is honestly not an unrealistic dream.  The only obstacles in the of this would be lack of content designed for such a purpose, and lack of demand for said content.  Both of these problems are solved by an increase of exposure to the general populous of gamers.  However, to achieve the level of exposure needed, it is necessary for those who already have their foot in the door with a lot of other gaming communities to help bring attention to the potential that accessible games have.  That being said, I intend to help out as best I can to bring that dream a bit closer to reality.  Now, regarding Twitch, the information you've been able to provide regarding accessibility is also much appreciated.  In return, I'll share a bit of knowledge of my own.  First of all, there is actually a desktop application version of Twitch that is much nicer than the website interface.  It's called TwitchAp

@Aprone, watching that vid made me want to reactivate my subscription. I loved CTF. And I think I wasn't too bad at it. It's a shame, I used to want to play it a lot, but could barely ever get a good match together. It was a genius idea adding it to Swamp, an FPS with an already active community.@WintergreenKitty: It's a good idea, I've thought about doing it too. My hesitation has been that I thought the sighted community, if you don't mind me presuming, would snub it. I haven't started broadcasting myself, but I do play games like Tekken 7 online and have started amateurishly making videos, I think I'm on the road to trying it. I think if someone else starts streaming blind games, it might bolster my confidence and help me overcome my anxiety, at least on the genre side. I'll still be socially awkward but there's no cure for that except being hurled into the limelight I guess . I'd happily live stream CTF and missions. Or even be a part of CTF tournies if anyone ever wanted to form a team with me.BTW, I'll check out your Twitch stream. I'm sort of a casual viewer so I'm just looking for the sorts of people I want to watch. Your open-mindedness is a good sign already!

Cool. Another additional suggestion in regards to the one with the torches in quests I made, another thing the units could do is making fires between the quest or journey for example to make something to eat or such. But that are all suggestions wich could be interesting if you can watch someone performing theier quests, or some of them. It would be interesting I think to see and follow such things, so you can see how they handle various situations and dangers as well, a bit like watching brawls or arena fights. That could be even fun I think.

It doesn't have build in database, so you need to get rss feeds by yourself, but it can load all tested feeds (also those where QCast fails). Neither of the first two are bad ideas. They require more expertese in driving and those mechanics than I have, having an S.M.E on any sim game is a good idea.Not sure about the third one. And I'm always a bit... hazy... on how much leeway we get when making audio games for our little community and what we can use of material that's copyrighted and trademarked up to the nether regions. I mean it probably would go under the radar and it won't touch their proffit margins in the slightest, but the lawyers they probably employ don't care about that and are just out to ruin aspiring creatives for fun.** maybe I'm biased

Monday, 11  December  2017 22:59 Lara: hello players. Mainly soundpack users and developres. The interface for soundpacks has changed drastically, so please listen carefully. First off, the @soundpacks command. This command now allows you to choose a pack, then either: 1. View information about the pack, 2. suggest something to the pack, or, 3. report a bug with it. The information displayed includes: name, developer, a description, dropbox, bt sync, and other download possibilities, the last change by the developer, and the last update time, not to mention the client. For soundpack admins, your life has just got much easier. First your command is @spadmin. The @spadmin command allows you to: 1. add a pack. 2. remove a pack. 3. edit a packs info such as name, description, download links, and clients. 4. view bugs. 5. view suggestions, or 6. post a change. The bugs and suggestions interface is also menu based, so you can work on more than one. I have converted all of the hcurrent packs over to the new system, though developers may wish to update their descriptions. Credit must be given where credit is due, and that is why I humbly bow to faylyn, who did practically all of the work. If you want to thank anyone, thank fay. I mean it. Thanks fay! System.Numerics.Vectors, perhaps?I'm not sure if you'd want each bullet to be an object, would you? It depends how many bullets you expect to be spat out. But I'd say a bullet's extremely short lifespan would mean you don't want thousands of bullet objects sat around waiting for garbage collection. In any language.With one potential exception, that is, and that's if you want bullets that last a little longer, ricocheting around and bouncing off things and doing crazy stuff like that. In that case, and if they're the exception rather than the norm, it might be okay to have them as a class. HTH

AVG started annoying me years and years ago so I switched to Avast and I was happy until I lost my vision and discovered that it wasn't very accessible so now I use Microsoft Security Essentials. It may not be the best, but it is accessible.Thanks for sharing this new game! I've been looking for something like Pop Cap Game's Bejeweled series in an accessible form. I can't say yet if Peaches and Cream fills the bill but it does sound like it's worth a look see.

Sounds good. If it can withstand rain and doesn't go into standby mode after a couple of minutes like the buckshot, I'll be giving it a try if the people at outdoor tech (the makers of buckshot) don't offer a solution. Bit of a longshot, but does anyone have any recommendations for a small Bluetooth, or wired speaker that is small enough to be worn on a rucksack strap so I can hear the GPS on my phone while it's in my pocket? I bought a buckshot speaker, which seemed perfect at just 9 by 3 cm, but it keeps going into standby mode because voiceover only speaks intermittently, so I'm looking for an alternative.p.s. I don't want aftershokz style bone conduction earphones because even having something just sat in front of my ears seems to interfere with subtle sounds, and I think they're over-priced anyway. I was personally going to take the story in a different direction but I like this none the less.Also maybe this chould be some sticky for each month where someone starts a narrative and it builds up til the end of the month.Anyway, let me continue after that. I have a story in mind based off my dream I had like 20 minutes ago (sob sob I want to go back into that dream). Actually now that I think about it that doesn't fit. Or does it?Scanning the network of tunnels around you suddenly see a strange site. What appears to be a family carrying the oddest equipment is running down from one corridor to intersect you.They are led by a boy and girl, the boy seeming to be around 20 and the girl a few years younger. As they come to the intersection, the countermeasures seize. The girl calls out: "deactivate dungeon. You have lost. We take this man home to us."Her voice doesn't convey any sort of authoritarian position, but yet you suddenly find the surroundings are fading away.As you come to it, recovering from the mental shock of what you just witnessed, you find yourself on a gravel path leading up to a two-house story in red brick. The family, ranging from the young man in his late teens or early 20's, from a girl that seem no older than 7 surround you, but not in a hostile manner.You have a thousand questions racing through your mind but the only thing you can think to ask right now is: "how did you do that?". You ... well you don't know what you expected to hear, but the family suddenly starts speaking. You now notice a motherly figure in the midst of her flock, but rather than being the detainer of the flock, she seems to be a caregiver by the way she carries herself. The way they address you is something you would have expected from everyone but yet encounter so rarely. Their conversation flows naturally from mouth to mouth, everyone knowing what to say, not as if it was rehersed but rather as if they knew each other like one entity."we compliment each others abilities and thought patterns", the elderly girl says smiling at you.Ok comment on the segment. It isn't as it turned out. And my brain is too sad to force any more bullcrap. I might continue pushing this narrative if I remember it that is. Because I have a particular point I want to show. So while I won't be forcing anyone's story part aside, the family will most likely reappear. Someone take over now. What I'd like you to keep in mind is that the family has no fighting or arguing. They are one entity of love. That isn't to say they have external issues but internally they're flawless. Feel free to continue to describe how the family describes themselves as using every member of them. My set up is mother, undetermined age, oldest boy, around 20, oldest girl, 116 - 17, middle boy, 14, another girl 11, and youngest girl 7.Or dismiss this and fuck with as you please. rofl. I'll go back to sobbing about the dream now.

Hi,i played cookieclicker on my Phone a lot, untill it got very inaccessible.For the version wich can be played in your browser, i tested a few things, and i found with using Firefox in combination with nvda is working on a acceptable proportion.To click the image of the cookie, it is a clickable element. i thought the first one you will encounter when entering the section where the game is displayed. But i am not 100% sure if buying upgrades works that well.I am personally very interested in idle/clicker games on IOS, so if someone have some recommodations for the ios platform, i would be very greatful.I know of the universal paperclips app on ios, wich is rather fun, become the greatest manifacturer of paperclips around the globe Hope i have helped a bit, and hope to hear from someone soon.greetz mike

I can't believe this hasn't ben mentioned yet, but that adventure to fate really wasn't updated at all. Though for some strange reason the store on my phone said it was available, you can look and see the last time it was updated was actually last year. Download and open it, and you won't even need Voiceover on to see the issues that are still there, and have been since iOS10. The same sort of thing happened with King of Dragon Pass as well, and I'm still not sure what to make of it.

@ethinWhile I haven't used the editor, I can see the advantages of something more light wait than VS. Also, we're all aware of your opinion regarding BGT.As for developer discouragement, this forum is very, very small in comparison to some alternative communities out there. Most people aren't going to admit to it up front, and especially to those with your outlook. You see programs on other forums, many of which are no longer being developed. I'd be an idiot if I said that was the only reason, however it is most certainly one. Criticism is a crucial part of software development, however within that is usually, "here's how you could make your product better", "I've tested a visual studio add-on that has the same feature set as this, can you think of a reason as to why I'd use this", "Why is this coded in BGT? It'd be so much better in cpp", whatever. You can say you'll try to find a constructive side, but when destructive overrides constructive post after post, that gets a little difficult.

From behind you you hear a crackling hiss and look to see the corridor you just left filled with light and heat, some sort of stream of fire. You realize two things, firstly that if the previous announcement was correct the way back home must be up that corridor, but secondly that the strange domed shaped device shooting at you from up ahead must be something different from the kill protocol previously activated. Sure enough, as a second shot pings from your upraised shield you hear a very different whining mechanical voice come from the floating dome. "Hay! male humans aren't supposed to have deflection equipment, they're a low level mob, they shouldn't be able to affect a fifth level float sphere with extra armour, much less pickup dungeon loot items"

As you run further, you stumble over a metal contraption. It looks like a shield of some kind. You put it on, and just as you do, you hear a shot ring out. The metal contraption deflects the shot into the wall on your right, and part of it crumbles away. You're glad you have this metal thing, but a few more shots and the wall will collapse. Although, is that good or bad? You push a button on the metal thing, and a light comes on, illuminating the passage your running down. You now see where the disembodied voice is coming from, a dome shaped device with a face on it. It hovers just a few inches above the ground, and follows you every step you take in this passage way. You push another button on your shield light, and a blew ray shoots out of the device and hits the dome. You hear a grunt from it before it mysteriously teleports away. It's friends might be close by, so you continue running.

NBA live series, any accessibility experiences with the game?

Hi.now that the EA accessibility train seams to be roling on continously, I am actually wondering about a game series which is captivating me more than the fifa series, and that's the NBA live series.I am wondering if anyone of you tryed out the latest NBA live 18 and can say anything about it.When it comes to accessibility, something that comes to my mind is a vibrational indicator for every line you cross, so the center line, three point line free throw line and so on.Carren, if you read this, it would be awesome if you could gather some infos about the game like amanuals, guides, controls for example so people can try out the game and see what accessibility improvements the game might need.Also, should we, if this project is fruitfull send out any feedback to you or who is responsible for the NBA games at EA?Thanks in advance.Greetings Moritz.

You can't remember ware though.Pressing harder, you feel it hardens, and finally your fingers makes out the cold clammy feel of a wall. overgrown with the soft  substance. you lean closer to the wall. having it for moral support helps your confidence a little.You take a few deep calming breaths, and say to yourself. okay, I’ve always wonder what I'll do if this sort of thing happens to me, I’m going to remain calm, I'm not going to let my self-panic, everything is going to be just fine.Your brain seems to have a mind of its own though,  wondering on to paths of the oddest  things in time of fear, you suddenly wonder how your pet poodle Trixie is doing at home,Will she be fed, will your husband remember to feed her on time? oh, he can be so forgetful!a soft hysterical laugh escapes your lips and you clam a hand in front of your mouth, startled by your own voice! What nonsense is this, you think, I’m way smarter than this, it’s only some darkness, nothing to worry about.okay, maybe for that dis embodied voice, but, one thing at a time.

Well to chime in on this subject, nothing in particular, since well, I dont' watch a whole lot, but I do take into consideration some things.  SOme stuff I've watched, in no particular order.1. Game of Thrones2. The Killing3. Marvel's Daredevil/Jessica Jones/Luke Cage/DefendersI don't reaoly have3w anything else on the top of my head.  I want to check out I Zombie.  I also have simpsons, family guy, NCIS, and what not on my PC with AD from the mice, but  I haven't been really doing a whole lot with it as of late.  Been doing other projects.

on the controller, there's a button   next to the deck's respected treble eq knob.  When you push it, it brings up the song selection menu on your phone and you can navigate and select a song like normal with the screen.

Hmm,I do have a problem with chrome also.I don't know why, but every time I quit chrome and launch it again, it signs me out from my google account, that includes youtube of course.It is really bothering to enter the password every time I restart chrome.This happens also with facebook.Has anyone faced the same problem

@nidza07You must have a really slow internet connection, I've never had JAWS take more than five minutes to install, if even that long, usually only a couple of minutes is all it needs. Even on a freshly set up clean system with nothing but Windows on it.

Hi,Sorry to put this here, but this is a game I have had to report to AVG as a false positive, it won't even let me go to the installer. I hope they listen again, like they did with l-works Blinded Guide.Also, recently, fists of fury's game program shortcut got removed from my computer even though I added it as an exception, so AVG is starting to really annoy me now.

hi there.the rules is simple, you just have to rearange the number tile , so if you play 3 by 3 you have to do:1, 2, 34, 5, 67, 8, emptyand let's just honest, I  completed the puzzle  only 2 times, and after that... irgh there are   some  patern on this game somehow.
