The games don't handle stats automatically and sadly all the automated attempts to program them didn't work out accessible. On the plus side, there is a combat table showing the results, and you can always use your favourite dice program to roll a d10 to generate a number between 0 and 9, then look it up on the table. hth.

@turtlepower it's an audio form I think so it's not a standard dialog. You must tab to the OK button and press it to close it. Also I think bombs just destroy an area of blaloons. i'm not sure how useful they are since I don't use them often, and I don't know if they help you get powerups. I'd guess not but it's anyone's guess lolI also don't like how you keep your invintory after a game is over, but if you exit, it's gone. Admittedly this only seems to affect the number of bombs you have, but it's something I have never been a fan of in games. Either save your invintory all the time, or purge it when a game ends.

I've been really into these types of simple games lately, it's helping me get back into gaming after a pretty long dry spell where practically nothing but Crazy Party interested me. This is no exception. I've played a few rounds, and I really like the sound effects and music. I also like the powerups, although I'm not sure what the bombs are for. The readme doesn't say.I think I found a bug, though. If you go into the stats screen, there's no way to get out of it. Escape doesn't work, and alt f4 doesn't do anything either. I had to end the game in Task Manager.

Already loving the game.I love arcade stuff like this! Once some modes come out, I will be purchasing this thing.I'm a little confusd about the difference between items and powerups. From what I gather, items spawn every so often (extra time and bombs) but power-ups only spawn if you pop a certain number of balloons in a short time.Often, the balloons play the hit but not killed sound when I hit them, but I think this is a bug?Also, you're forgetting some key commands in the readme:tab for invintory I think, and enter to use an itemc for coordinatesr for time remaining,Shift for cheat codes.BTW I love how when you have less than a second left, the timer gives you the time in milliseconds hahaha. Of course, by the time you process what's going on, it's too late to really do much about, but it's a nice geeky touch.

I actually really like this! I'm not sure why I passed on it when it was first released, but I've just tested out all of the games, and I have to say it's a fun little time killer. The only game I was underwhelmed with was Fire Run, and I'm not quite sure what the point of let's Die is, if there is one, but the rest are great. Chainsaw actually seems a bit complicated. I decided to put that on the back burner for now because I was having trouble keeping all the keys straight, but I have a feeling it will be the most intriguing of the bunch once I get going with it.

I remember that one too. Unfortunately, I didn't like that combat as much... I felt the same way about all the 3d titles, though I never spent extensive time with many of them. Warriors Rage on the psx was definitely enjoyable for a time, though. MY favourite is probably Samurai Shodown IV or V special, and I'm glad after the mess that was Samurai Shodown Sen that they're being smart this time and going back to 2d gameplay, and making it a true reboot.

Hi.Let me point something out. Maths aren't needed unless you are doing physics and 3d. If you just want to make a  simple side scroller audio game or something, you will not nee maths. Since you mentioned 3d sound then you will, but you should know that 3d sound is not always the best option, depending on what game you are doing.As for the language: NodeJS has what you need, 3d support (with some libraries), ready made templates for you to start building your game from, and a bunch of libraries and a great components system called npm where you can find many other libraries made by contributors. Python is ok too, but I haven't seen any audiogame templates or anything, so with python it might be a bit more tricky to get started.As for js, I have something on m gitlab, but right now it has server issues, I'll get it fixed this week.

Hi, I am on a very old ff version (55/ 56) because I use jaws 18 and can't aford to upgrade to the latest one, not to start a flame war here or anything, but even if I had the money to spare (which I don't) the later versions of jaws are slower than 18, be it 2018 2019 and pay for just browser compatability, bah! I guess I will have to switch browsers if firefox hotfixes can't be applied to this version, because well addons are important, and I will not only need to pay $400 $500 to FS (rough estimates here) to use latest version of firefox but deal with slower versions of jaws as well how's that for fun?Grryf

A few things:First, don't use a dictionary for your map. Either use a 2D array:public int[,] map;Or locate a library that supports a matrix class. Try to not use strings for maps; do your best to use integers as these are incredibly fast and cheap. You can identify the type of tile in the map by just a single easy-to-remember integer identifier. Second, you call into the Microsoft.Xna.Framework namespace. Is this XNA or MonoGame? Also, change the names of functions, classes, namespaces, variables, enumeration files, ... to more informative names.Second issue: you aren't loading anything in the LoadContent() method and yoru not unloading anything in the UnloadContent method other than the sprites. That is probably why its not working.

If you did what I think you did, then there shouldn't be a problem.By stripping from flac to ogg, do you simply mean you converted them from flac to ogg? What programs did you use?What are you using to play the files? Does the stuttering happen only with those particular files, or does it also occur with other files? I know I'm asking the obvious, but 9 times out of 10, stuttering happens from a problem with the playback device, or by some other problem that isn't related ot the file itself. While decoders can and will produce stuttering with some files, it's not a terribly common thing. If you're sure the problem lies there, you should be looking into the file, the program that made the file, or the decoder you're using.Without more details though, I can't give much real advice.

The last Samsho game I played that sounded this good was warrior's rage on the psx. In that one you had 3 life bars instead of a best of 2 wins. The music was totally serene and the combat was totally in stereo and felt very tactical. That game also had a lot of unlockable characters like tekken 3.

Reading between the lines of your requirements, I still think Python is your best bet. Its cross platform, has support for 3D audio with various libraries including OpenAL, is very beginner friendly with lots of documentation, easy syntax, and lots of people to ask for help. It doesn't quite have audio game specific documentation though, but the community can help fill in for that, and just about any programming language is basically built, if not on math, then logic. It depends on what you want to do and how much control you want over it, ultimately. Anyway, I'll just copy paste some links for you here:You can get started by grabbing python [here], once thats done you can check out a number of free books such as [Dive Into Python], [How To Think Like A Computer Scientist], or the [Python Practice Book].Once you have a handle on the core language, you can move on to things like Pyglet or Pygame for basic audio, window, and input handling. For more advanced audio you can check out my OpenAL examples [here], for screen reader output you could use Tolk, though its repo is experiencing some issues lately, you can grab an example set [here] that has the files you'd need.If you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask.Oh and if your writing tts on mac you might want to consider Accessible_Output2 or pyttsx instead of tolk, as its windows only.

First:1) There are no languages that meat your particular requirements specifically.2) If you want to make anything 3D, you're going to need to learn 3D math. It really isn't that hard. For example, to normalize (clamp) a decimal number in a particular range between 0.0 and 1.0, your formula would be (1.0/max)*number. There are many others, and I'd advise you to learn that math if you want to make some very HQ 3d games.

Supercube and rhythm rage by Oriol Gomez. Supercube is not only bop it but you also have to keep track of where  each color is as the cube turns. Rhythm rage is more of a musical simon. Each level has a programmed sequence that has different objectives. For example, a sound plays, you press space twice.  A different sound plays, you press up arrow, down arrow, up arrow, down arrow. Though, the last 2 I posted wwer about helping people and exploration, so...Almost wondering if I should just delete my char and come back in like a year or something, though I have nothing like that to play in the meentime, mabie Miriani, but it's... Toxic, and it doesn't have the alt manual controls, and I hate using the keypad to move then switching back to fire my weapons in ship combat.Frustrateing.Mabie it's because I have a profile written out all ready, but not sure how to bring that down into a single consept?

Yeah, I thought the same, but on the other hand, you get some specific APIs wrapped up. Licence is availabled in every package you download from their site. I agree with 9 (though enet could probably be used in C++ or PyEnet with BGT, though that would need some testing). Plus, doing this would be incredibly complicated if not impossible. Pythons C API is hard enough as is, we don't need DLL abstractions over it to complicate things.

Poking at this I immediately dislike their licensing terms, which makes me hesitant to use it. (Their license agreement also appears to be unavailable too.) For the "license-required" classes the lowest price you have to pay is $289.00. I don't really see what this offers other than a uniform API over multiple libraries that already exist and that are fully open source. The idea and concept is awesome, but their licensing isn't very reasonable.

NVDA runs great on an SSD. My machine doesn't have one though. The Dell before this one did, but I had to take it back because of some hardware issues I suspected after the video driver crashed twice daily and the thing got hot enough to cook on. After buying a cooling stand for it, which solved the heat issue, but not the crashing issue, I then tried about 7 previous revisions of the graphics drivers and found a new BIOS / EFI update, none of which fixed it.

Another smaller reason I thought of is that I don't think some people like indenting code. Again this shouldn't be a reason to stay, indenting can be quite useful especially when working with sighted collaborators, but if we are looking for reasons to stay, that's just something I could see somebody using as an argument.

Actually @8 I'm not sure that would be easier, I don't know if anyone has successfully recreated philip's enet settings in another language to communicate with the BGT's network object. Please feel free to correct me though. In any event, I see no reason why you'd want to do this. You could learn much of python in the time it would take you to get something like this working, and there are just so many issues you'd run into. You need a lot more than python37.dll to make this work unless all you want is python builtins and even that would be iffy. You wouldn't even have the os module. Now, if we could make python and enet work together, the 1 time I could see this actually being really cool is making a BGT game client, then making a multithreaded server application in python and hosting it on a cheap linux box. That could be cool. If it wasn't for the av thing, BGT has all you'd need for a client, and so if a game central server could be written in python that could open up many possibilities. But then again you could write a cross platform client in python that would be even better. In any case, you don't really gain much. Also, you couldn't read BGT properties or call BGT functions from python. If you could figure out a way to do this that's great you should show me, but I don't believe it is possible to the magnitude you want. You similarly can't call BGT functions as callbacks from C DLL's because the functions are only registered with angelscript. I may mess with finding the address of the angelscript call function in the BGT executable and try to see if I can trick it into calling my function, but I don't think I'm that smart  As for using pyinstaller? Dude every time you run an onefile pyinstaller executable, loads of files are extracted from temp. In order to read stdout and stderr output in BGT, you have to use cmd.exe as a proxy and use > output.txt or | clip and that's just impracticle. If you want something that downloads files faster, get BGT working with curl if you must though I'd avoid it, or find a C library that can do what you want and use BGT's dll functions.

I'll put it to you like this:A few months ago, the audiogames website stopped working on my windows 8 pc upstairs because I hadn't used that particular pc for a while, and firefox was very much out of date. So, I upgraded my windows 8 pc to the latest firefox, but instead of just working as expected, Firefox literally crashed. After reinstalling, and even resetting the profile from scratch, firefox refused to actually start, even with a fresh, new profile.This is why, on my windows 7 pc, I am keeping my portable copy as is, with auto updating disabled, because, it, quite simply, works, or would work, with no addon structure changes and websites running as expected.It's more than just addons though. Many sighted users are reporting that later versions of Firefox are employing more methods of telemetry, and even when stuff is disabled, it still sends the data, kind of like Microsoft. It's making people lose trust in Mozila, slowly but surely.

they won't want you buying it if you are outside the US because when they sell in other countries they bang the price rite up. they wouldn't sell me an SMA while I was in America because my copy was registered in the UK so I had to buy it from the reseller here which cost over twice as mutch.

It's not a remort, it's a last resort class change. I guess if you'd either paid a lot of money already but then later discovered you don't actually like your class as much as you thought you would/really hate it. Because it costs a bit over 1200 diamonds, and you don't keep skill level progress. So you stay at 60, but you gotta upgrade your skills all over again.

So, I'm not really sure how I feel about the rockets being killable. The XP boost that shooting them gives you is nice, but I don't know if you should really be able to blow up a rocket by hitting it with a knife two times, which is exactly what you can do once you've got your range and damage high enough.Something weird happened to my game, too. I was playing last night, and got myself up to level 230 something. I shut down my computer, and now when I run the game I get this:---Fatal error detected---Failed to execute script game---OK   ---What could have caused this? I haven't installed anything new since yesterday.Edit:Never mind, figured it out. I had to allow the app through Windows Firewall. All is running smoothly again.

I've just updated sound pool, let me know if things are broken again. Thanks goes to Carter again for helping with figuring some stuff out, seems like we never stop learning...The slot reservation shouldn't be a thing anymore, the sound pool does not have a limit on the amount of sounds it can play. That doesn't impact your ability of using the update_sound_range and update_sound values. Things might still be broken, and yes, the pack is still a thing, sorry Mason. I'll remove it, I promise, sometime. I'm just tired right now.
