problem with JAWS and TTS voices.

so I've got JAWS 18 installed in my PC, and I downloaded a couple of vocalizer expressive 2 voices from their site and installed 'em. but when I change the synthesizer to vocalizer, nothing happens--that is, it is the eloquence that says "vocalizer(factory default)", and in the "voice person" box, I get eloquence varients like reed and glen and sandy and so on. also, when I try to adjust the sapi5 synthesizer to set-up a voice profile of ESpeak in my local language, half the things are still spoken by the default synth--MS Anna though everything is set correctly. I imagine the same thing'd happen even if I installed other sapi5 synths like Ivona. so does anyone know what's wrong? and what do I need to do to fix it?

3. In some games, the value of some items or your stats was save in different bytes. Like this cast away for example, my lumber was save in 4 bytes value while my bricks, wine, vegetables, meets and breads were save as 2 bytes value. I don’t know why that is but if in using this 4 bytes value, you cannot find the address which contain the value representing the items or stats you are trying to find in a game, just try using the other bytes value aside from this 4 bytes value. So if you cannot find what you are looking using 1, 2, 4, and 8 bytes value, use the binary, double, flotation and so on in your cheat engine. Among this games save on my computer, I am trying to find a game wherein the items or stats was save as a flotation value but I cannot find any. By the way, in using this unknown initial value feature of this cheat engine, if the stats or number of items in your game is increasing, select the increase value and if it is decreasing, select the decrease value. Like in the second illustration for example. Since the attack of the goblin cause your hp to drop, we selected the decrease value but if the attack of that goblin for instance make your hp to go higher, we select the increase value instead. I use this unknown initial value by the way to find the value representing my training points in manamon before. If I remember it correctly, my groller that time has 35 training points. So everytime I train my stats I just keep on pressing the next button till the engine shows the single address which contain the value representing the training points of my growler. So I think, that covers all the basic tutorial of this cheat engine. With those two illustration, we have explain the process on how to find the value representing certain items or stats in your game. The second illustration by the way shows you how to find an incripted value in a game. I think, I going to end it here. Just a reminder, with the exception of those people who are only playing games just to enjoy or just to relax them selves Like I am, if you are really an avid computer gamer, try, try to beat the game you are playing without using any third party software. Have some respect to your ability as a person. However, if despite exhausting and doing everything, you still cannot complete certain part of the game or you still cannot finish it, maybe, using third party software is reasonable. Thats all O hell yeh!! whee!

On this second illustration, let us  use this unknown initial value on this game called The gate.If in the first illustration, we modify the amount of our gold, this time, we are going to modify our stats focusing on the HP of our char.1.    Same step in first illustration.2.    Instead of typing some value on the edit box, don’t type anything, instead, tab directly to the combo box where this exact value is located and down arrow to unknown initial value and tab directly to the first scan button and press enter.3.    Return to your game and move your character until you find a mob. On this illustration, I met this stupid goblin which start to attack me. Just let him continue to attack your char and return to the cheat engine instead and tab to the combo box where this exact value is located and down arrow to this decrease value and tab until you rich the next button and press enter.4.    Each time this goblin attack you, press enter on the next button on the cheat engine until it show you this address which contain the value representing the hp of your char. Same process in illustration 1 if you want to change your HP. In my case, since 940 is the value representing my hp, it means that if I going to multiply this by 2, so 940 times 2 equals 1880, it will give me only 200 hp right? so its up to you how you are going to change the value of your hp. In my case, I will just replace this 940 to 94000 so that I will give my char a hp of 100.By the way, since you cannot save your game until you completed the floor, or certain level of this game, it is safe to just let your engine open containing that modified value representing your char until you rich the save point of this game. And aside, each time you rich that spring which heal your char, your hp will be back to normal which is 100. If that happen, just return to your engine again and just change that value representing the hp of your char. So it is really safe to not close the engine until you rich a save point of this game.

Tolk is fairly robust, but windows only I believe. There also seems to be [universal speech], though similarly windows only. I did dig up a thread [here] though which mentions a number of TTS options for C++, a few of which are cross platform and seem suitable, such as espeak, gnuspeech, festival, etc. along with some mention of OS-X options.

1. Before we begin, I just want to tell you all people that I am not alsow in favour of hacking. However, I do understand the frustration of those people who despite doing everything to complete certain part of the game, they are not able to do it because of some factors beyond there control which prevent them from doing so. Isn’t it that is very frustrating specially if the game you are playing is a commercial game which you bought with real money? And aside, with some limitation, as an owner of a certain property be it real or personal, you have the right to do whatever you want to do with your property. You have the right to transfer, modify it to suit your needs or even destroy it. In this case, you are only modifying your computer game which is considered as personal property to suit your needs. And aside, I believe that one of the main purpose of playing games whether it is outdoor or indoor game is to enjoy  or to relax your self and not to cause you more stress. Cause after coming from school or work and you decide to play computer game to relax your self and instead you found out that the game you are playing causes you more stress and anxiety because it keeps on beating you or something else, that is very frustrating isn’t it? Hahahahahaha. With that said, let us start and let us begin by illustrating how to use this 4 bytes value on this cheat engine. For purposes of this illustration, let us use this manamon game.  I’m going to use this cheat engine 6.7 since it has portable version.  after creating my char on this manamon game, I head out of my house and from seroth city to amica town, I was able to accumulate 3182 gold.1.    Open manamon and load your save game and open cheat engine.Upon opening your cheat engine, Press altPlusF  on your keyboard and down arrow to the open process and press enter and tab until you rich the list of the opened programs on your computer and choose the manamon and tab to the open button and press enter.2.    Tab 11 times till you rich the edit box before the combo box where that exact value, bigger than and unknown initial value is located and since I have a total gold of 3182, I’m going to type that on this edit box and tab to the combo box and make sure that this exact value is selected and tab again to the next combo box and make sure alsow that this 4bytes value is selected. tab until I will rich this first scan button and I will press enter on  it.3.    It give me 6 results but sometimes, if you are scanning for a certain value, it will give you staggering results from a single digit and even up to 7 digits numbers. On this 6 results that I have, I can already see the address that contain the amount of my gold but let us assume that this result is 6000. In that case, all I have to do is go to the shop and buy me ahealing herb and from my 3182 gold, I now only have 2882 gold. I will type this 2882 again on the edit box and tab to the next scan and press enter. In case it will give you more than1 results again, just by you again another item on the shop and type the remaining amount on your hand on the edit box until you will see the address that represent the amount of your gold on the result.4.    Select the address that represent your amount of gold and press application key and down arrow to the change value. In this illustration, since I have 2882 gold, I will change it to 50 and I will press enter. And now, if I check the amount of my gold, from 2882, I now have 50. In this game you know already what this means right? With so much gold, you can buy as many healing items as you want, you can buy as many token from the arcade game as you want to win you some credits and if you have sufficient credits to use in buying some items on the arcade shop, use the same process to get you as many credits as you want. Just repeat the 1 to 4 steps. I would like to illustrate the  process in finding the value of your training points on this game but since  my aquaffe have only 6 training points at the moment, I think that this is not sufficient so we use the gate for this purposes instead. I use this steps on the smuggler 5 invation in order to buy me an avalanche crucer by the way.

Well, whats the target language you plan on using? If were talking about Python, then the only thing that comes close to tolk thats crossplatform would be accessible_output2, but its no longer maintained and can be a bit fugly to get working. There is Pyttsx though, but it only supports native screen reading options. You could of course try hooking in their dll handlers and try writing your own.

Hi guys, I haven't had proper internet access for a while, so haven't been able to respond to people. The uploaders have been doing a great amount of hard work and getting all those shows/ movies. Many tv shows that have wierd names are also getting fixed, although when you download them they may still have that wierd name, which is easily fixed if you know how to rename. Thank you guys for the nice comments/ praze, your appriciation is a boost  One thing I would highly like to stress upon though, is download what you want to heare/ and or something that you'd like to listen to, and don't just go grabbing everything, that puts a heavy load on the server, which isn't fare to the other users who may experience slow speeds etc.@je97, Thank you, like I said, I already have a backup in place, another is getting done slowly, and if anyone else is interested in being  another backup as long as you have the space and the bandwidth for it, get in touch. and I highly doubt that a file on the server could've nuked your hdd, most of them are were from the blind mice tv shows from when they were still available. about the radio shows and drama content, Thank you for your generous offer there, But for now, I would prefer to stick to audio described tv shows and movies, once that's in order, we will see where to go from there on out.  so I will definitely keep your offer in mind. @cw and omer, Thank you. I understand that not everyone has the finances to donate, so as long as you are enjoying the site, its just as good. ok, well i have another issue. so like i got threw stage 20-3, but the last enemy on stage 20-4 on the screen, no matter what it is, i can't even kill. i spent 10 minutes using the super metal blade on a death robot and it never died, same with the dark devil.

You pick up the first group of people and walk them to the door. Then go back to where you started. At position 269 or so you'll get a message, and you'll see more people. Pick them up, and walk them out. If you have enough coins you'll also see something sitting at the far right of the stage over a pit. You'll probably want to pick this up too as it can potentially make a certain boss much, much easier. You probably want to have 1 figures from stage 15's shop too just in case. I'm not sure you need anywhere near that number for anything but they're 1 gold each, and 10k gold is pretty easy to get.

The goal of Cython isn't to protect people from using your code indirectly (via Cython) but from getting access to the source code. (Its also used for making code faster, but that's neither here nor there.) So, I'd say 'no', unless you change the python bytecode and alter the interpreter, which would (then) make your code useless ton anyone who doesn't have your version of the interpreter.

All you have to do is click on add program, select game engine.exe and set it to whatever time you want. Check the freeze time checkbox, click OK and the demo will never expire. I don't have Cracklock or the game anymore, however, do to it not working on Windows10. I bet it's because .net Framework 2.0 doesn't install, and you need that to run the game.

First you need to specify the angle of point on surface of the ball toward which you want to move. Because there are three dimensions, you need two angles to do so. First, which represents your horizontal facing i.e. distance in degrees from zeroth meridian and second representing distance in degrees from the equator of ball.Gps by the way works in similar fashion.The distance from your location to that point is equal to radius of that ball. Every point from the ball's surface has the same distance from center, so if you want to move in 3d space for some distance, you know, that you'll end somewhere on surface of a ball with radius equal to distance of your movement.Vertical angles are thus 0 for horizontal, 45 half up, 90 up, 135 half up behind, 180 behind, 225 half down behind, 270 down, 315 half down and 360 is equal to zero.You can of course use every possible angle, even -785 if you like, this are just most noticeable values.If one moves under angles 0;45 degrees, 1 meter, he will end on 0;(sqrt(2)/2)^2;sqrt(2)/2.That is approximately 0;0.56;0.75.These numbers are hard to imagine, that's why I personally use the mind model of a ball.Best regardsRastislav

Hi everyone. So if you read anything from applevis, You may have heard that Echoes From Levia Is no longer available. When I saw the post, I looked into it and was able to confirm that the game no longer exists. If you have already bought it, it will still work for you. Some people on the posts I read were saying that this is because not many people liked the game. And to be honest, the game was not my favorite. However, for their first release it was not bad. People were way too harsh on these developers. They should have given feedback and positive comments. It seems like people always find something to complain about with the game. Even if they had those complaints, they could’ve gone about it in a better way

Yes, and that's exactly why an all or nothing approach is a terrible idea. We can't say with 100% certainty that each and every game in the database has used authorized sounds. You can take down the obvious ones, thereby demonizing them, but you then would have to tear apart each and every game, question the devs, which, in some cases would be completely impossible, and make judgments based on your findings. I have it on good authority that this won't happen, nor would it be realistic, but it would be the thing to do if this sort of approach were to be taken. I can almost guarantee that by doing so, however, you'd drive a good bit of the community away.

So, suppose you have cythonized your code into a .pyd file. However, is that really secure?I'm asking because, if I import a cython file, I can figure out what functions and variables it has by using dir() on it. Sure it will take some time, but does that really matter? I can still use somebody else's code and ultimately get my hands on the product.So my question is this: Can you prevent somebody from just strait up importing your cythonized modules?For the reference, I'm talking about the file you get by typing cythonize -i -3 script.py

The GPD Win isn't the most powerful computer, but it works for audio games, web browsing, managing Email, playing media files, word processing, voice and video calling, etc. You're definitely not going to be doing hardcore video editing or playing graphics intensive games, but it's certainly an excellent pocket PC if you stick to the basic things most people want to do with computers. Yes, I said pocket PC, because this thing is truly a pocket PC! It's awesome!Think about what you want to use the computer for. If you want to voice or video chat, I'd highly recommend purchasing a decent quality camera and microphone. The GPD Win doesn't have a camera and the built-in microphone is awful!Having said all that, this thing is still a powerhouse! If it had an LTE radio, I'd seriously consider ditching my cell phone. Mobile operating systems are okay, but you can't beat the power of a desktop OS like Windows. Having the full power of Microsoft Windows 10 literally in your pocket is incredible!

The GPD Win isn't the most powerful computer, but it works for audio games, web browsing, managing Email, playing media files, word processing, etc. You're definitely not going to be doing hardcore video editing or playing graphics intensive games, but it's certainly an excellent pocket PC if you stick to the basic things most people want to do with computers. Yes, I said pocket PC, because this thing is truly a pocket PC! It's awesome!

Here's my one little issue with the game: It takes too long to start. The first 100 squares are blankets of nothingness. I feel that is entirely too long. Maybe the first 25 squares, 40 to 50 max.

Christian, once the server is back up, an admin can send you your password. There's a command for that.Yes, the server went down, and I'm not sure if it's my fault. I committed suicide on a map and then was thrown into some sort of death loop. It glitched out hardcore. Not sure if this is my fault or if the game just said nope. The fact of the matter is, the game is indeed down. Apologies if it was my fault.

there are a few others of a sort, when you get to the capitals of some of the factions, they have some tough guys in them such as the disgraced heroes for the bandits or the ogres and trolls for the goblin nations.Also I am pretty sure the Ice Lord is a boss now, though not sure quite yet. You also have Kuva who is the strongest unit in the entire game, demons not excepted.As for capturing 1 land at a time, I think that works. You are not attacking the entirety of an enemy's lands when you invade but are only attacking a specific one. Many enemies split their armees evenly between their lands, which is the thing at issue here. Even when you mow over them, you are only taking out part of their army in a corner of their lands rather than launching an attack on their entire holdings and just taking one land.Also, something I never quite understood and would like to know. When it says the more men you send, the fewer you will have defnnding you, that means the more you send on end-of-turn attacks, those guys don't get counted in the event of a hypothetical time when you have to be on the defense in the same turn? Is that how it works?

So the one thing I will give this game credit for. It says what it is and doesn't try to be anything else. Yes, it basically is just Oh Shit with top down movement. It's not 3D, that's just the term we've taken to using when something isn't side scrolling. Games like Redspot and STW are truly 3D.That said, that is also it's greatest con. It is just Oh Shit top-down. Which isn't a bad thing. Unfortunately though, I prefer Oh Shit to this, simply because it came first and was a fresh concept. That's nothing against you, Mason, but that's all this is, and, unfortunately, it's just not keeping me hooked.It's a nice little time waster. Don't get me wrong, but I think of the new games I've played today, since I haven't had my computer for a couple months, it's been a lot, it's probably my least favorite, however I do enjoy your Endless runner game quite a bit. Just getting a bit annoyed at my random deaths.All in all, it's a good effort, and you took the step to release it to the public. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing groundbreaking, but then again it's not trying to be. The game is honest, and I like that. Good on you.

Well download link doesn't work either.Saying that.A clone is not bad, stealing someone's game and saying its yours well.But people make similar ideas for games, musics, etc all the time.Remixes and mashups are clones in a way.And well if you wanted to get bloody minded on this then your computer is a clone.Everycomputer existing is now a clone.Ibm made the original system, still makes servers and systems itself, all computer bar the apple stuff came from it and without them our computers would be different.So your computer is a clone.The only difference was that ibm contracted microsoft initially ffor its os though it did at some point have its own os.I am not sure but it was a book known as secret24.zip I forget its title but I read it back in 1997 and found a lot of stuff sadly this book died with henrichson.org and I never backed it up.In it it tells the entire history of our opperatings systems, apple in bits, and mainly the pc, its an enteresting book.I don't have it anymore which is sad.

file explorer hates ogg

I just updated to windows 1903. Well ok, was forced to update because I had to reinstall windows. So I did. This time I went with home instead of pro, I hope that doesn't make a difference with this issue. Any time I try to move, copy, rename, or delete an ogg file, file explorer  won't complete the action. I have never had this issue before. Why am i having it?

Simter, Thomas Ward or what his first name is, was the original developer of Tomb hunter, who died around 2014 or something like that. If he credited the developer, then I wouldn't have known this from a good friend of mine.Yes, maybe I was too harsh. And yes, maybe I deserved this warning. The funniest is that am getting karmas cause of my opinion, but nobody really wants to say their opinion. Yes, I admit that sometimes my statements are strong and harsh. I know it. I had a teacher who taught me how to debate and since then I've gone too far, I'm aware of that. I've been doing this for months because I just can't see the truth in this community, or at least, in some people. I'd appreciate Mason's work as well if I didn't hear things back. Let me tell a story which makes me to be like this. There's a hungarian boy, who bought the Scrolling battles pro thing. He used it for a day, and the second day when he tried to log in, the server was down. This happened for more than a week, and since he isn't a member of this forum, he asked somewhere like what is going on. No answer. And then he contacted someone who is inconnection with paypal events and got his money back, fortunately. Yes, it ended happily because he managed to clear it out. But what if someone just can't do this, because they don't have good english skills or anything? I've recently registered to this sbyw thing which's going on now, and yes, I admit that it's quite a fun game, not to mention that I died a lot but it's my fault  so yeah, Mason can do fun things if he wants to. And that's why this community likes him. But these payments made me to think twice before trying out anything. If this changed, I'm sure I wouldn't be against him. Oh and if he had original ideas and didn't steal the names. Maybe I was wrong and MTG studios was really Mason, I don't know about that, so thanks for correcting me, seriously. But Thomas Ward wasn't Mason for sure, and, Stevo isn't Mason either. I know, an already dead person can't do much about that his game got revived and modified as much as it could be, he even changed the story and nothing is the same as he imagined. But then why didn't he give a new name to it, if it doesn't follow the original concept? And this Oh fuck might be fun as well, I didn't try it though, but people will get bored of this type of games. I enjoied Endless runner though, even if it had paid options. I liked the game and I sometimes still play it because of boredom. But these previous things made me to think this way.I hope everyone can understand my point of view with this explanation. I know I was too rude, and if Mason sees this, then I'm sorry. When I have more time, just like now, then I am able to explain things, and not just to write them as they come in my mind.

That's the point though, they have access to software and hardware clearly not meant for consumers. DiskDrill is the closest it gets to having your own personal data recovery lab, but it is fairly expensive (80 bucks for a license.) Even so, that only applies to magnetic drives which I assume is what you have. SSd's are virtually unrecoverable especially if Trim is enabled as it should be. Backup! Backup your backups! Backup the backups of your backups!The price of magnetic drives is drastically decreasing now, and there are almost always some that are on discount. Remember, ssd's give you plenty of warning before they're done in, and even when they are you can still read off the cells you just can't write new data. Magnetic drives can fail seconds after they were doing just fine previously.
