Re: Hell Hunter - Anti-Nomen demo release Well just played a lot of the demo.With the bosses they get faster and faster and faster.At some point I run out of this games version of medkits.In the blind quest series the health generated as you moved, in this one it doesn't.While this could be welcome since you really didn't used to need to rely on any healing items, the big issue is that while I was able to get multiple items, I would eventually run out especially with the big bosses.Not every monster has a healing item but again, right now the bosses would suddenly hit me and get stronger.This meant I had to use an item unnecessarily and so on and eventually would run out.At the point I am told that the boss gets stronger, I get hit, and it looks like for that time the announcement goes on the game semi pauses.Maybe a tone rising in pitch like a chime could tell what was going on.On the subject of more boring point and clicks, I am surprised no one else is doing these type.Yeah they are simplistic but still current in the sighted world.I have never really payed anything over a simple game book but while they are basic, concentration in some battles is key.I'd like the ability to skip past speech though.As for being told about hitting tab, yeah its a bit repeaty but its good to be told especially when I have chosen a direction as when I have gone one way I sometimes turn round and do the other without noticing so yeah its a good idea to handle that.For a game its quite good.However I would have liked ticonblue to finnish a few more arcs rather than trying to develop yet another adventure before finnishing another one.Fury driver comes to mind, fixing the first one and getting the next chapters out.Next blindquest, yeah I like that even though its basic and I want the next part.I don't mind another adventure but if you guys release new stories all the time.Next testing, ticonblue doesn't seem to ever have a betatesting period.I am always buying the next games though.I mean they are crappy and simplistic but I am adicted to this style now. If you're going to install Linux, I'd erase the entire drive and use it exclusively with Linux. I haven't had much luck running Windows and Linux on the same drive or even multiple drives. Frankly, I'm surprised that the laptop even supports it; RAID is usually only found in server setups where data integrity and mirroring is absolutely critical to the functioning of the business in question where failure is entirely unacceptable under any circumstances. RAID is also only useful on large disk installations where you've got 5 plus disks at minimum.I assume that Windows BSODs because Windows doesn't know how to handle that kind of setup and it causes problems in the kernel. That's a very understandable thing -- since you wouldn't be using a consumer edition of Windows 10 on a server installation if it had windows at all. Its bad, but understandable since a consumer rarely ever needs RAID, and RAID can go wrong if you don't know how to set it up properly. (Plus, lets be real, guys: Linux is better at RAID than Windows is, especially when you pull in OpenZFS.)Anyway, I'm not sure why RAID would be hidden under advanced settings. Disable it and reinstall Windows -- that should solve your problem. I just opened the ARMv8 reference manual -- which contains well over 7,000 pages -- and it opened it very quickly. And I didn't need to suffer the ridiculous lag that QRead has when I try to open the table of contents in that particular file (QRead takes at least 30 seconds because it lazily generates the TOC whereas Bookworm always keeps it loaded).The fact that this is open-source is a plus in my book too. The only problem is the render page option How exactly does that feature work? Does it render it as if Adobe Acrobat would render it for PDFs, as an example, or does it render it pictorially? I'm too lazy to do anything else. 90% of the time the chapters are ordered and you just read them one after the other, keeping 1 tab open at any one time to keep your browser loading quickly. If you can figure out which file is the table of contents, it's usually full of links to chapters and you can just click on those. Here is a little tidbit about raid that I did not previously know about. Apparently the raid system causes issues on certain systems where it will blue screen after a certain amount of time. Funny enough, my computer seems to have the same issue, but weirder still is the fact that before I had to take it in for repairs at a computer shop, it didn’t used to blue screen like this. Because of this recent discovery, I have 2 possible ideas as to why this won’t work.1. Raid is the default option on HP computers, or at least this particular model. In my case, this computer is an HP Pavilion laptop.2. When they replaced the motherboard in the computer, raid was the default option on this motherboard, or they made it the default option somehow.Is there something I might be forgetting about or missing here? I really hope I’m not out of luck on this. It seems the more I figure out, the more stuck I get when I discovered these things. Using Aria, it is possible to make web apps that function like desktop apps entirely, enough so that you'd be hard pressed to notice it's a web site at all (source: I've done it, though I never did release the project). People talk about web apps like they're lesser, but this is truly not the case, not if the effort is put in. I can name entire programming languages (cough cough rust cough cough) in which there is no accessible GUI library at all end of story. I'd love it if more devs used Electron because accessibility issues in Electron itself get fixed, and "here is a one line fix" is a much better discussion to have with devs over "and then C++ ate your project". I've also noticed that the majority seem to prefer web apps over native, I mean look at discord, skype, and i know that this isn't a chat app but, VS code, what are the common things about them? they all use electron. What i noticed about that particular framework is that its really, really buggy in turms of keyboard handling and screenreader focus handling. It seems like it's the real problem, but the real problem is that naming a modern GUI library that's accessible by default and cross platform is basically impossible.The reason apps used to be accessible more often than not: whatever dev coded it and whatever they coded it with happened to be accessible. However this is a tech point, none of the blindness orgs will get it even if it's being told to them, and so instead of pouring something like 5 million a year to fix literally all the popular GUI/web control libraries and keep them fixed, we instead spend it in much less effective ways.Sighted people do actually care, but if you're on the web it's a major uphill battle because if you grab something popular from npm it's probably not accessible, and if you're on desktop the discussion usually starts at "so, do you know C++?" and goes downhill from there. Most of my sighted friends use it so it's really easy to stay in touch.Reddit... I see the appeal of it but its hard for me to open it and keep up with things. It's not an accessibility thing. I check one or two communities that I care about then I just get tired / bored and wander off.Regarding Reddit though, I feel like I'm one of the few blind people that prefers the modern site. navigating conversations is really easy; you can press j and k to move between messages in a conversation and it almost always works. Also take into account that unless you have a dedicated accessibility team your not really going to see much progress unless the developers actually give a damn about the minority. Hi.To get through old reddit easier, find the post with the dashes, for example: after_applying_to_32_companies… Then press tab, you'll now be able to read every single post on that page, the only issue is when you get to the bottom of the posts, it will say search landmark search complete, what you need to do then is go to the bottom of the page and press shift b to go to the last upvote or downvote button and arrow down until you hear view more and the next link, then press enter on it. If you're trying to be a programmer and you're 40 there will be lots of questions. Afaik you're still in high school or something, so in the sense of if someone would care in general no, but as stated already you kind of have to try to stand out as a blind person if you can, or failing that be ready to just keep trying over and over and over until someone takes the chance.Think of it like this: if the job doesn't require a specific degree in college beyond the typical 2 year thing, it probably doesn't require experience. If it does require college, it probably does require experience, and it's assumed that you got that experience by having the college degree. You will see in many programming jobs that they'll say something like "college-equivalent experience" which can mean college or "check out my cool project".But really, you're asking for general answers on something where it really depends. If a sighted person walks into Walmart at Christmas and says "got any jobs", they may very well go "yes, here is your uniform, we'll hire you for the next 3 months but that's it" with few to no questions asked--and whether that's the case depends where you are and how many other people are trying to get it. If a sited person walks into Google and tries that rather than going through the official channels they're getting laughed out the door, and probably won't ever get the job. Except there are tech startups who would totally hire someone like that, because they're still at "mom's garage" stage. And so on.You should be more specific about what you want to do if you want better answers than "yeah, blindness sucks". First of all, you gain a level each turn as long as you have 4 cards of a type in either your hand, the backline, or combined. Second, you don't have to junk 10 cards, at most spend 2 or 3 turns to gain a level. Third, literally every type has a leveling card that now increases your level by 3, instead of previous 1. Add that to the increase of 1 level at the beginning of a turn, and you are literally gaining possible 4 levels in 1 turn. In addition, many cards have now been modified to also increase a level, such as energisation in electric. Fourth, the psychic type has a play on draw card called flash of genious. This card is automatically played as soon as it is drawn and increases your level by 1. This card also goes to the exile as soon as it's played, meaning that with another psychic card called souvenir, you can recover two of them and gain two more levels.After playing a lot with this new system, noone can say it's slower. With the ideal combination of cards, it's literally possible to play sky attack in the 6th or even 5th turn. Also, it's important to keep in mind that your level stays and never drops, so say you put a psychic card you can junk, you can use pretty much anything psychic that's level 2. This gives great possibilities to dual type decks, for example it's now much easier to add energetic mining to almost any special deck since it's not nearly as hard to maintain the ground level without adding too many ground cards.I will say it again, we had many more major modifications than this. If you have played the battle mode for a longer period, you will remember that when support cards were added, you literally had to go and modify every single team deck, and even some individual ones that relied on the cards that were modified to become support cards. Same happened when the simbols were introduced, you had to add them to almost every dual type deck because it made leveling a lot easier. So What accessible android games have we got that are worth playing and popular?I have so far found Home quest which is an incremental unfolding game.
