Take the DNA challenge! It's easy! Just get some of your DNA, put it in the microwave and ...No wait, hang on, it's nothing like that at all. If you don't want to mess around with the text stuff, I include midi files of the test version and the full version. The challenge is that you can take the pre-made midi files, or start from the text, and make your own crazy versions. And by all the gods if you do, put them up somewhere so we can all hear them!Technical note:I don't think I included this in the HTML. As I understand it, the first 1K lines are only half of what should be there, because DNA is in paired bases. I think they only list one base, because the other one is implied. You'll have to look up DNA if you want to add the pairs in yourself, you should be able to do it with a fairly simple program, I just haven't gotten round to figuring it all out myself yet. That's mostly because I forgot about this thing and found it a few months ago, and then promptly forgot about it again.I'd be curious to hear what, if anything, anybody does with it. The process of modifying the text musical representation and generating new midi files is pretty straightforward, so you should be able to mess with things like time signatures and such if you're not super into midi. Then you just pull the midi into the DAW/sequencer of your choice, orchestrate as you see fit, and generate an MP3 or OGG or whatever. Also if you do a modified midi, I'd love to get hold of that too, or the text source if you change it that way. If you don't want to do anything with it, at least you get to hear six hours plus of weird minimalist music based on DNA, if that's the sort of thing that interests you in any way whatsoever. Enjoy! So I've tried to use this, keyword being... tried. I have a lot of questions, like, a lot.I mainly decided to give this another whirl because of the comment on another topic that one could subclass earwax levels and games and avoid decorators. I'm not particularly against using them, but looking at lucky thirteen's source, one file of it, made me concerned. It's 360 lines. Not a lot, but you're essentially forced to define all the level and game logic in one file. For me, this is kind of an issue, hence subclassing.Trouble is, I can't figure out how. When i try to read it on my Victor Reader Stream, it takes forever, and it recognizes the card, but when i try to record for example, it says: No media. Next i tried to format it, and when it was about to complete i got the following message: Media error 17, error. When i tried to format it with the computer, it said "windows was unable to complete the format". And diskpart didn't work, the volume i tried to select was unusable according to diskpart. And i took a look at Ease us data recovery tool but it's not accessible with NVDA. Is there a free to use sd card formatter that will format sd cards corrupt like this? How can I generate text files on windows?
How can I generate text files on windows? So earlier I got really bored and did this.potato.txt Extension: txt, Size: 1.3 GB, Attributes: ---A, Modified: 1/30/2021 8:02:43 PMI'm trying to figure out how to make bigger text files than that. Why? I don't know. But does anyone know how to do that? I made that one in notepad, but it became very glitchy as expected and eventually I ended up using all my ram copying the text and pasting it over and over.Basically I'm asking for any tool to generate a text file with random letters and numbers, or words even. Just anything to get the largest text file possible. I have no idea how to do that beyond checking your BIOS; I'm sure there's a programmatic way to do it and I could probably write a small utility program that you could just boot to turn it off, but that's even assuming that the drive you have has a developers reference manual that allows me to tinker with that to begin with. Try booting Linux and seeing what it sees it as; you might have a lot more luck if you fiddle with it in Linux than if you did on Windows if the BIOS has no luck. The game is playable only in god mode and with a mod that extends the mirror mod to give you more health regeneration/etc due to access issues. I only recommend getting this on pc. Wish it had more voices, because the Scottish one is really the best English voice, but sometimes, I don't want things read in a Scottish accent. I mean normally I'm all for that kind of thing, but sometimes, you want something different. Also, like eSpeak, it could pause a bit more at some places. But honestly, not bad at all now that it has rate boost. I've snagged the scripts to make new voices. They're for Linux but I might try messing with them in WSL, if I can figure out how they actually work. My main character has a pet cat who turns out to be a faerie creature, a Werecat, whom I was thinking would act in battle at least as long as Luke was in the battle party. She would be something like Interceptor, Shadow's dog from Final Fantasy VI, who will occasionally block a physical attack directed at Shadow and then counter with an attack of his own. Misty, Luke's cat, would theoretically act in a similar fashion. I'm curious if that's something that could potentially be done in Sable. I'm going to take the question seriously because I've just come off a research jag digging into old weaving techniques for the hell of it, because that's the kind of shit I do, and I'm bored. I also think there's another side to this people are missing or not explaining because Brad has this history. So sit back and grab a drink, because it's story time with uncle Khomus!So me and a couple of friends used to run a small internet radio station. We didn't get a ton of people, but it was fun. One day we got email that was probably spam that we'd be reported if we weren't legal. I was doing the technical side of things and really didn't know much about what had to happen, but after finding out the penalties, we'll get to those in a minute, I for damn sure figured it out. I informed everybody that we were going legal. They were not happy, we'll get to why in a minute as well. I told them the management had made the decision, so deal. Well they were asking the same question Brad is, come on dude, we're small, who the hell's gonna check? Who's gonna care?First, that didn't matter to me because the potential fallout was like up to five years in jail and a ten thousand dollar fine. That was per song. People didn't like going legal because there were rules, and they were kind of confusing, you can't play more than two songs in a row from the same artist and album, or more than three songs from the same album in a three hour period. Ir was three and four if it was different albums or a compilation. There were more but that should be enough of a sample. But still, Brad wonders, who cares? There are other internet radio stations that aren't legal and probably play whatever they want. Who's going to check?First of all, people probably do check. But suppose they don't, what's the problem? Look at this forum. All you need is somebody to be pissed off about something somebody did in the forum to find a post about something illegal and report it. I don't know who'd you'd report something like that too, but it wouldn't take me too long to fire up a search engine and find out. Same thing with our radio station, all that needed to happen is for somebody to get pissed about a management decision, it happened, or even a listener to hate us or feel like we were competition. They report us, and wham! At *best*, we get shut down. At worst, we pay a bunch of money we don't have and go to jail.I don't know what the penalty would be for this site. But having it all taken down? Sure, I could see that potentially happening. As soon as the powers that be check about post A, even if it gets taken down, they're probably going to be checking other posts. Who's going through all of the posts on this site, not to mention games, and checking to make sure every single thing is legal? Any idea how much time that would take, even assuming the admins or whomever were given that time and the whole site wasn't just slammed as soon as another overlooked violation was found? Also remember this isn't just you personally. By that I mean, it's not like you got to steal five things, and if you get caught for the sixth, so what? That just affects you and whomever you stole from. Here, your actions can effect, well I don't know how many people we have on the forum, but let's say a bunch of other people.I know, just go to What's App or Reddit or whatever. Me personally, I don't have a phone, which IIRC you need to at least activate What's App. Reddit is absolutely horrible to use, as far as I'm concerned. Personally, I'm not a chat person anyway, so stuff like Discord or what have you doesn't appeal to me much either. I guess what I'm saying is that, aside from the issues between people here, this place seems to work pretty well. It's a central place to get news about new games and such. I don't see why there should be a risk of having it shut down because you can't be bothered to go to any of the countless other places to talk about the stuff you can't talk about here, which seems like a pretty limited subset of things, to be honest. Though you have that right per the GDPR, requesting the admins to delete your topics and your posts probably doesn't fall under that right. Your topics and your posts does not constitute your data; you gave up all rights to them when you posted them, if I'm not mistaken. Deleting your topics would be erasing history, and since you gave up your rights to your posts/topics when you submitted them and they became part of your public record, I doubt the GDPR applies in this case since its no longer "your" data. Asking the admins to delete your account is different.Of course, you've told us that your leaving before and you didn't, so I don't think you will this time either.
