@JackAbout your so called TT recordings. If there's anywhere that Sam says there's a virus in any of his games, I would be highly interested to here them. I know what your talking about with the other thing, and redspot was in no way involved. It seems you were fed some misinformation.I recommend re-reading my post, as I try showing that TK also shows these virustotal reports, so there's no point in pointing Sam out directly with the amount of proof we have right now. @30I'm pretty sure the quake engine is open sourced and licensed under the GPL, and half life has references to being a heavily modified version of the Quake Engine. In post 19, I wasn't referring to modding, but more taking credit for something that isn't completely mine.@20Oh, OK. I confess its been quite a while since I've played DM, so I'll have to check. I've decided to stay fairly quiet on this topic, just watching as it progresses.There is in fact a lot that I would like to say, but I'll keep it to the more important.Right now, it seems as if people are going so far to claim there maturity, and attempt to come up with something that was better than the last persons reply. No names mentioned... I honestly doubt much, if anything, will come of this topic. Try and remember though, what can actually help, versus what's gonna just fuel the fire. I wrote my overall opinions on some of the posts here, but I, like others, don't see much point in going on with it.

here's basically how it works.maps are basically an x - y grid. An example map would look like the following: most of the elements are heremap:clonemax:0zone:0:100:why:do:people_still_play this stupid game?wall:0:is this thing ever gonna die?platform:1:20:seriously, me as well as a lot of other people are getting extremely tired of it. This sounds cool, although one thing I'd highly advise, no matter if your just starting out is a website. After all, you need some place  where people can go to listen to your archives. Maybe even setup webchat using something like lightIRC. You have a server for automation, use it.

Heres the fix.In the finder, press ctrl shift G, type ~/library. Navigate to Application support, then go to ZGP, and edit cons.ini. The tag your looking for is the first thing at the top of the file, called speech_rate. Set that to the WpM value you want.

Post 70: I definitely believe in letting others express their opinions. In fact, that's what this forum is for. But,  there are sometimes where people need to step back, and look at the big picture. I'll admit it definitely pisses me off to see ultrapower clones, but it's just a game. No one is dying, no one is getting hurt  physically, and in most cases, nothing long-lasting happens. I agree that deleting this topic may be a good idea at this point, with the flame wars and other crap going on.  Even if you don't like something someone else does, that's no reason to bash them or straight up say fuck you to their face, especially on a forum like this. Among other things, glad to see a new client being released.  No matter if I decide to play the new game when it comes out or not, at least you've hopefully got out of the clone idea.

Note: The following post is not me being a dick, or trying to sound like an admin, because I'm not at all.That aside, Ivan, I thought you were banned for 6 weeks, what in this world happened to that? And the fact that you're doing a rewrite may help you greatly. Now, I recommend changing the game. So, walking around, collecting items, and killing people is getting a bit boring after all this time. how about objectives? At least don't come back saying "Hey, I've done a rewrite, but yeah, most things are the same as up or for that fact, the previous version of BTB." I would be happy to give you ideas if needed.

Now there are 2 topics, in completely different forums. Because a public beta is released, I don't see the point of this topic. and now for anyone who is wondering, the game is free. So, if you ever decide to make the game paid, I am in favor of a demo. The public beta is out, but how about after that? Are you still thinking about making the game paid? And, this game needs a lot more updating. Right now, it doesn't take a genius to tell you are using the up code. This game has good potential, as long as you stay with it, and take a totally different approach than a lot of the other developers. Playing it for now, yes. From what I've seen, you are a pretty new dev. Because of that, you have to build reputation in the community if you really want to make a game paid. I am not willing to sit around and pay for another up clone. I'm sorry, but it's true
