There is actually offline progress! You can turn it on and off in the Options dropdown screen, and although I would recommend you have things set up so your catnip won't run out (I have eight barns and ten kittens farming, so catnip isn't a problem for me and my 29-kitten village), you can have stuff accumulate while you're offline. Learned this from the Discord!

Well, I've now researched everything up to Writing, but that requires Culture, and I can't get any Culture yet. I can't even buy any buildings that could get me some culture (I checked the wiki, so I know what I have to unlock, but they're just not available to buy yet). What am I missing? Do I have to focus on mining now? I have Unicorns so hunting is slightly less of a priority...A lot of this is taking ages.

So I tried this game ages ago and gave up on it after I found out about the mouseovers. Now they seem more accessible, which is great! I like being able to read things and know how much stuff I need.However, I have eight kittens in my little village, and even when they're all farming, getting enough catnip for more than 60 fields or so is taking absolutely forever, especially since I have to move the kittens around to make wood for barns, mine things, get science for upgrades, etc... I'm in Year 10 and things are still crawling.

I don't think that's the problem, though. When you shift+tab back through the elements on the page (I'm using NVDA but this command is a Windows one so it might not matter), you can see the delete buttons. You can't activate them, but they still show. Only the delete buttons, mind you, but their presence would indicate you haven't lost your characters, just that Chrome and the site aren't playing nice with the display.I can see the things in Firefox, so I am going to assume this problem is specific to Chrome and this game in particular, and move on.I really don't think the cookie was tampered with, as I've had no issues like this with any other game I've played in Chrome.

I know I can see the delete buttons in Chrome, but only if I shift+tab to them. In Chrome, I don't see links to my adventurers between "the Guest book has the following adventurers:" line and the link to create a new adventurer. I don't know why this is or how to fix it.In Firefox, I can see my adventurer in the section where it's expected to be, as well as other links to "Home" and "About" and so on that do not show up in the Chrome version.Again, I have other browser games, like Trimps, Evolve and Planet Life, which all load just fine and which I can play normally in Chrome. I don't know why this one isn't playing nicely.

I've been playing this game a lot lately. There's a lot I love, but the length of time it takes for some crafting skills to become useful is a pain, especially if you need to be shuffling around skills every now and again to get the most out of them. Sewing and leatherworking go hand in hand, and construction seems to rely on mining and smithing and leatherworking at different points to make progress. Cooking is great, but since so many of the other crafting skills depend on one another, keeping cooking around starts to become somewhat impractical. And then if you shuffle the skills around again, you have to start leveling them all over and the pain is all the greater for knowing how far you'll have to go again.

I was operating under the assumption that weaker parts just suck in higher classes, no matter how many levels you give them. My Shell Beta deck is F-Rank, while the Pin parts are E-Rank, and I was able to defeat the Green Class Leader with the Pin deck at Level 6, while the Level 9 Shell Beta deck got clobbered.WWKB is the online stuff, right? I can't be sure if anyone's available for that, can I?Edit: It seems peoples' stats are uploaded and so you can download their decks and things to battle them. I still lost the fight though.Also, how are you supposed to get the extra decks before Red Class if you don't use the Parts Gacha?

It is going to take me so long to get to the point where I can paint things. I'm still struggling with Green Class in this version and I don't know what to do to make things easier on myself. I have the set from the secret gift, but it's not as good as I'd like it to be even at level 6.Edit: Level 9 now, and have unlocked the leader battle, but despite him being only Level 6, I can't beat him! Mind you, I only have 5 power, but I'm really trying! Money isn't as easy to come by right now and I don't know if my current gift set is as good as I thought, but I also don't know what to try and win in the machine that would be better! I don't know how some people beat the entire game without needing help!What I really hate is when I'm trying to attack my opponent, and I seem unable to touch them, and then they teleport to the middle of the field from Emergency Avoidance, but despite their spinning being so low, I still end up losing even though neither of us hits each other while I'm waiting for it to die!

Because I get the feeling I've gotten nearly all the parts I can.Edit: Just raised 4000 YGC and got one part from two rounds for 23 parts each! And I only have 75% of the parts! I checked my parts and saw that only two sets I have right now are lacking a piece. I'm guessing there is, in fact, another level to unlock, perhaps two, because surely there needs to be for that many parts to not be available!I am at least doing better in Yellow Class now, consistently winning more often than losing, but it's still disheartening to do the spins and just get more of parts I don't need and only one new one.

I just downloaded this game and I like the sounds!I actually didn't know you could move the spinner and balance it, and thought the only things you could adjust were aiming and charging. Now I'll have to see how well I do with my upgraded spinner with this information!

Are you being too hard on them? Light training and frequent rests (as in, let them sleep when you get down to "Looks fine" instead of "a little tired"), and giving it food it likes, as well as playing with it every now and again, helps with relationship.

Got my first golden herb! I had the relevant stats above 700 and did so on a first-gen monster, so I'm gonna try and keep it alive for as long as possible. I'm guessing the jungle is my best bet for finding the herbs, so I'll put it into hibernation until the next time I can access it.

Mine too, but I tend to blend first-gen monsters with second-gen ones so the ones I breed are probably not as good as they could be even if I raise their parents well.I'm glad not finding golden herbs is normal. Searches are a pain in the butt for me because the search points are often so far away and after the last time an exhausted monster escaped and was lost for two months, I'm paranoid about straying too far from the base camp.

I killed a monster by sending out in lots of searches. I actually lost it the last time we went out and I didn't mean to! I was trying to get back to camp before it was too late but there kept being walls in the way!I've picked up a number of things via searches, but so far, no wheels or bear claws or moonstones. Got an old stone axe, though. Does that do something cool?Also, re Shining Herbs, here's the trick for getting a monster to 5 years old. I did it with a magic bird, so you don't need a special monster at all. You just need to only use the top six training methods, the easy ones you get starting out, and put the monster in no competitions until they're old enough to do silver cups. And don't use boosters on it either, unless it's the food. That won't hurt your chances. It's tedious, granted, but you should only be in early old age by the time you get to your fifth birthday, and after you get your first shining herb, give it to your silver cup slave and keep it in hibernation until the next cup. I have my bird out for two weeks at a time, one to compete and one to rest. He's gotten me seven shining herbs so far and he's still going strong!

Will I be able to revive them? I haven't found one yet, and there are still files that can't be used as jewels even though they fall into the right criteria.Also, does anyone aside from me hate the rian sounds? The steps are fine but those groans make it sound like a sick bear or something. It's happy sound is only slightly less pained-sounding than it's upset one and I don't even want to bring out my mad rian because of the sounds.And I still haven't found the new one, the one renamed in the latest translations as the sound type. Do I have to unlock that?

Made my first dragon! Its gender is unknown but I named it Kaiba, because I am a Yu-Gi-Oh fangirl and I would have named my first dragon Kaiba even if it was female. I'm wondering how you get non-pure dragons though. Do you have to mix them with other monsters and add a dragon jewel? Will you be able to revive them after breeding your first one?Also, weird tangent, but I love the different levels of applause when you're first presented in contests. I'd dearly love to know where Morokuma got all of them, or if he has one applause track that he layers over and over to make the more enthusiastic ones. Except the last. Pretty sure that one's not many claps overlayed artificially.

In the farm, gym and park, you always hear the monster running back and forth when you're not doing anything and making happy cries, or grumpy ones if it's tired. This is great most of the time, but when you want to really appreciate the music you've unlocked and keep being distracted by your monster running about and making noises, you can't.Edit: Crap, should've checked that before making this post, but you can listen in the house and your monster isn't there. Well, the game's working pretty well right now. Nagging the dev about updates isn't really necessary and is also impolite. Patience is the best policy in that regard. There's lots of other stuff to do while you wait, and not just in Breed Memorial. I'm thinking I should maybe start over. My monsters are currently a mix of (sometimes not great) first-generation monsters and some second or third-gen ones that I combined a bit willy-nilly. I have over 300k gold and not much to spend it on, I have a Silver Cup slave and have another designated already, I have a Dragon Fang in reserve and have been at this for more than fifty in-game years. And yet I only recently started beating S-rank officials. I've been learning as I played and don't know if I've wasted my in-game time raising up random monsters and getting impatient with some of them and combining too early. I don't do that any more but right now I have a bunch of monsters I don't really like and no way to get rid of them besides selling, which there's no point in doing since I have so much gold I'll never run out again. I'm only doing competitions for the stat boosts at this point.

Okay, thanks for letting me know. I really need to work out how to get a monster's stats right up faster without having them get too old before they're SS-Rank. I know others have had this issue before, so I know it's hard and takes lots of combining. And I know giving them too many stat-modifying medications makes them age faster. I've used shining herbs and it doesn't take me back down a stage. Both the monsters I used them on were in old age, and they were still in old age after I gave them the herb, though they were less old than before judging by how many points I got from training. And I can only use herbs on monsters once each. The best way I've found to get monsters stronger is to put them into as many high-level competitions as possible. Once I get to B-Rank, though, I have to go up one stage at a time. A-Rank things require me to have stats at least in the 400's, and S-Rank needs them to be in the 500's. I still don't have my current monster in S-Rank for Contests, probably because I have to be mostly passive for those. I can outrun them for marathons and capture flags close to collection boxes to rack up points, and of course kick the opponent's butt in the Colosseum, but in contests I have to hope the others don't have better points than me, or that they pick bad options, and the high-level competitors are too smart to rely on that.

It sucks because I raised a bunch of monsters to six months and now I don't have anyone younger. I don't want the cookie, I have enough gold to buy many cookies and they're not that great of an item anyways, but I wanted to know the point spread you got for winning.Also, we really need more warehouse upgrades. Gau monsters sound like dogs, though. They even have a bark attack! And if their footsteps sound like anything it's webbed feet, not undead/ghoulish things!Mind you, the Club (crab?) monsters sound like some kind of hoofed animal when they're walking and their cries are like some form of water bird, so maybe sounds aren't everything.

There are zombies and ghosts to cover any ghoulish things.As for monster names, though I don't want the Pokémonisation (or Manamonisation in some cases), I would like a bit more consistency. Sometimes "Birden" would be replaced with "Barden", and there were other inconsistencies like with Rian (assuming it's meant to be a lion or something?) I'd like more consistent naming conventions, but again, not Pokémon/Manamon references.Are there people helping with the translation dictionary? Could this not be solved if some people helped out? I'd be willing if I knew more Japanese than I do. It's been a long time since high school classes and I didn't learn anywhere near the whole language.

I've beaten my first Spire, and unlocked the Player Spire Tower Defense game, but it has its own accessibility issues. I think those could be resolved though, it's just that I'm probably missing something I could suggest to fix it.For those wanting to help with Accessibility, and getting more timely general gameplay help for that matter, I highly recommend joining the Trimps Discord. I like the boss music! It lets me know straight away I'm in the last room.Is it possible you could code it so the eating/drinking sounds were keyed to the consumable items like magic berries and cool water and so forth? That's including the prestige items.Also, I'm not expecting a bunch of sounds for when you find different things from searching, as that'd be about six sounds playing at once, but it'd be nice if you added a sound specifically for when you picked up something that wasn't food, potions, gold or gems, just so we'd know when our searches picked up extra items. I don't know if this is possible, but if it is, I'd certainly appreciate it.Also, a sound for achievements would be nice.

I'm really loving how the game is going so far! I've tried the sound effects, and although I can think of quite a few I'd like to see in the future, I think the one I'd like most is an enemy death sound, so you know at which point you killed the enemy and don't waste time pressing buttons. Just a thud or something to tell you you've killed the thing would do. I know you said you'd be adding sounds slowly, as they take up more space, and I totally understand if this takes a while.Also, thank you so much for the update to the pack! Knowing at a glance how much space I have left in there really helps!

Raised my first monster to five years old! It was a long and tedious process and I dunno if it'll be worth doing again, but maybe next time I'll shuffle monsters around.Was there any point to doing this other than participating in the competitions reserved for five-year-old monsters?Also, I found a new jewel piece for something called a ... Reem? I dunno if the spelling's right but NVDA's pronouncing it right. I've not found one of these in my revival attempts yet, and I went through about twenty files the other day trying to find a mermaid. If it's unlocked by doing something, I hope someone finds out if I don't first, and then lets the rest of us know.

I dunno, I certainly don't want to keep the stupid Sweet Pod around. I have two overweight monsters and I've forgotten how to get them back to a normal body weight. I've tried competitions and nutrition food and hard training and I have had the policy at Strict but it's been over a year of game time and the monster's still overweight!

Still, they're all unique. Wish I could test if these files work on the first save, but again, my Hibernation Room is full. And selling them as babies is a waste, and selling ones I've raised would be silly when I could fuse them, not that I would when they're still not very old...

Got the latest update, and it said there are thirty-seven new monsters! Are they new combinations or are some of them new types? If so, what should I be looking for?Also, I came back to this game only to be reminded I have so many babies to train up, and not gonna lie, I'm not sure I'll be able to raise them all without getting bored and possibly running out of money from feeding them.

I don't even know where to move the pointer to on the page and it's frustrating me because I wanna play it...Also, I know the Kittens game exists, but when I tried it, it didn't seem very accessible to me. I could have just been doing something wrong, but I couldn't really get off the ground with it.

Something else I noticed. Some achievements don't save across prestiges, and some of those that do don't seem to like you switching difficulties. I switched back to Easy from Medium for a run and lost my Potion Hoarder/Prepper achievement levels among others. It'd be nice to know which achievements do this and which don't so we could avoid losing points/be ready to not have certain achievement levels when we restarted.Also, a tab to tell us if we're cursed/poisoned/frozen/whatever and possibly how long it will last would be nice.

Oh, okay. It just feels like I'm cursed for the entire time I'm in a pyramid probably because it keeps being reapplied, so I miss about three quarters of my attacks and I kinda hate it. I'll have to prepare the lucky pennies and luck equipment I guess, though currently I mostly just wear the highest level eq I have/the best eq that's on the same level if I have multiple choices.

@Malachi, Yeah, my save string ends in equal signs most of the time when I go to copy it into Notepad, but it has them in the save box. That must be the issue if they're not supposed to be equal signs.

Are you guys able to keep using your saves indefinitely? Mine seem to break every time there's an update, and yes, I copy the save string out to a text file regularly and import it back in. I haven't been able to salvage an old save once something goes wonky with it, even after clearing the save and pasting the file in again.

Somethings wrong with the game. I tried importing my save and it dropped me at level 1, with NaN energy. I tried clearing the save, which has fixed this issue before, but it didn't help this time. Also all the stats level 4 headings are blank, and I can only tell the stat and its current value when I press enter on it. I don't know how to fix this problem if clearing my save doesn't work.   Edit: I tried the game in Firefox (been playing in Google Chrome) and had the same issue there, despite never having played in Firefox before. I think something in the game broke.

I wanna get into this game but I don't wanna use VIP Mud. I've never used it before so don't know how it works. The financial side is also a contributing factor, but as I'm more used to MUSHClient, having played two different Muds with it, I'd like that option if it has become available since this thread was begun. I don't wanna spoil myself too much looking through the thread for alternative client options, so could someone tell me if you can play this in Mush yet?

Still think Monzai is bugged. There is no target sound and I tried moving my gun around but still heard nothing. Guess this game is a bust.

I think Monzai is bugged. I couldn't hear a target at all and ended up having to go to title and lose some of my progress through the Catacombs. In hindsight I should really be saving more often, but still...

This thread is long, and I don't know how many people have gotten this far to notice this issue, but I found a small bug. It's not game-breaking, but I thought Aaron should be made aware.When you play the rhythm game in the music hall, whether you quit or exit out yourself, the game stops giving you messages if you have options to choose from. For example, when going to use the Pocket Copter, when you get to the list of places you can go, it doesn't ask you where you want to go, just states the name of the place. at the top. Likewise, if you open the main menu, it just tells you the first option instead of saying, "Select an option." Using NVDA, and have been able to reproduce this behaviour. It goes back to normal if you close the game and reopen it.
