@1, these games aren't new.As for @2's comment... The fact he posted, shit, in a post isn't grounds for banning, although the fact he did it in another language so that not everyone could understand is quite... damming in the fact that given he posted the word shit, in a language some might not understand was probably done to insult in this case. If he had posted shit, in english, then I would say that this was no reason to ban, although yes, it was a unnecessary comment and a waste of time, but given the fact it was in another language? Uh, that really, really is pointing towards personal attack, in my opinion, if it was harmless he would've posted the word in english... so yeah. Just my take on this though.

There isn't a contract for credits, or getting credited in any of the above. There isn't a contract that says, if you help us with, say, this game, you'll be in the credits as so and so; it doesn't work like that. When your in the credits of a game or whatever else it might be; that is people appreciating and agnoleging the work one has done for the game, music, movie, etc. It isn't much, but so far, i've been in two credits of games; adventure to fait, quest to the future as a voiceover specialist and content developer, and the circus master's revenge as the sound designer. In neither of those cases, was there a contract saying, for helping, you'll be so and so in the credits, there is no contract for that. Beeing in credits means that the one you are working for recognizes the hard work and effort; you have put into the project, however is there a contract for this? No. As said before, it is basic human decency and agnoleging and appreciating the hard work one has put into something. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but, didn't this happen before? Mohamed said that the game would be discontinued in a message of the day, this was about two or more weeks back; the server went down for a bit, but then the game was back up as if nothing had happened? This was back when it was bloodstorm not build to survive, though I do remember something like this happening. Also, if the game where to be open source, yes someone could pick it up and continue developing it etc, but, whos to say that the same probems that happened now wouldn't happen with the new dev? Also, beeing honest here; Mohamed doesn't own the game entirely. If he had coded all the new stuff on his own, then yes. But given in this case that tunmey, and... I honestly don't know if others helped in development as well; but the point is the same; the decision to keep the sourcecode, and not sharing with anyone, or giving it to anyone; isn't just mohamed's decision in this case as others where envolved in coding and developing besides mohamed. I mean, sure, he bought the game, and he would've had the right to keep the sourcecode if he, and he alone had continued it; but when other people started putting in effort and developing the game as well, at this point, the game isn't just mohamed's propperty. He really doesn't have the final word on releacing or not the game, or keeping it and letting it turn into dust. The others who helped develop and ferther code the game have just as much say as mohamed does, if not more so. Look at it like this,I make a topic saying, let's create a sound library of so and so sounds, and 3 or 4 people contribute with their own recorded sounds besides myself. Now. Even though I was the one who came up with the idea, and the project in the first place, I cannot do the following: Ok folks, i'm gunna start selling said library and, I keep all the money because I am the one who came up with this project, and thus the rightful leader of this project, despide you guys contributing to the project. That is unfair, and morally wrong. If I had done this project all on my own, and the sounds where only mine, sounds which I recorded just myself, then yes, I would get to keep all the money I earned from this. However, since other people colaborated just as much as I did in making this sound library possible and adding their own recorded sounds to it, they deserve a portion of whatever money this made. Why? Because this was a colaboration between multiple people, not just individual work.Get the picture now? This is basically what's going on here. The sourcecode, if you will, is not just not Mohamed's now that other people collaborated in it. The code is not soly owned by Mohamed, as there is code from other people as well there. Did mohamed buy the  game? Yes. However, when he let other people collaborate and code in this game, he lost part of the ownership, or more accurately put, this game became a shared ownership, not just a single ownership as was previously. Mohamed doesn't have the rights to the entire thing, as there are bits of code in there which where coded by other people. Since the very moment other people started to collaborate and develope the game ferther, they also became owners, partial owners maybee; but still owners nonetheless, of the game. Therfore, Mohamed doesn't have the final say in this matter of keeping the game, or doing with it what he will, as, given other people joined the coding effort and coded the game besides mohamed, they also have a say in the matter.

With all the whatnot with this game, I knew it would end someday... Granted it was fun while lasted, but like all things, this game came and went. Was fun while it lasted though.@ivan... not every single member in the blind comunity likes to, as you put it, bitch and whine about everything. Sure some do, but the ones of us who are, shall we say, maturer? Don't  engage in this kind of behavior. I, for one, know that there are far more important things than, bitching and wining about every and any little thing. At large though, i'm sad to say it, but because of the few minority in thes blind comunity who engage in, bitching and wining all the time, this is sadly the first impression people might get which, is... sad to say the least. Atleast if they came to audiogames.net, they would probably get this impression. But yeah. Not all of us in the blind comunity, bitch and wine, about every little thing, as you put it, but as often said, the minority in every group are the ones who shout the loudest and thus are heard above others. Ah well. Game was fun while it lasted. I agree with others though, I feel like a better explanation as to why this was should be given. I mean, the explanation given, if it can be called an explanation at all; was, this game is at its end. Fine, I get it, the game is no more, but as an explanation... Nope. That's like someone comming into this forum and making a post saying, Oh i'm leaving, and  nothing more. What i'm getting towards is that everything, behind every decision there is a reason. Now. Are we owed an explanation as to why this game is no more? Certainly not; however given the post mohamad made beeing so vague as to the why, i'm sure i'm not the only one who wants to know what happened and why  was bts terminated as it was. My point was not to start drama, as said before, I don't really care for tk, however I do care for the truth. That's what I was trying to get to. @haley_mary, I did say I was playing the devil's advocate to begin with in my previous post lol. With you, leaking the code before it was ever sold to cilag... That does change the equation, slightly. That might be why cilag in the end decited to just say fuck it and releace it officially and or start sharing, because said code was leaked already. Then the ban on this game by audiogames.net, is, in this case, bullshit, and completely ungrounded, as if given its cilag's game, he's the one who decided to open source it. Of course, this is if this is true, that Ivan sold tk to him. If this is the case though, it should be corrected and the ban on this game lifted for good. If  not, however, I stand corrected, and to be honest, I don't really care about tk, but, I do, however, care about the truth of the matter.

Ok. If it is indeed true that cilag bought tk from ivan, and its kinda, a big if honestly; and only something Ivan himself can confirm or deny; if this where to be true though, cilag would now be the owner of the sourcecode and yes, can do with it as he pleases, even releacing it out there, and yes, this would be legal, if he rightfully and legally bought the game, he would own not only the game, but the source code as well. He could do with it as he wished, given he is the new owner, and yes, releacing the sourcecode would be perfectly legal if he did rightfully owned it. Is this the case? I have no idea; and for the case of this post, I'm posting as if this was the case to make a point, that if he did buy tk from ivan, it would be perfectly legal to share or opensource the code, given he is the new owner, but until Ivan steps in and confirms or denies what people are saying about cilag supposetly buying tk from him... This is all speculation.

this game is... great. enjoyed it a lot. lol finished the game and it left me wanting for more haha. it would be interesting if new content was added, like, spoilers ahead,if you talk to mantis before the fight, he mentions the head of the cartel. don't remerber his name, but that could be something to add maybee, the adventure ends with you killing the head of the cartel. For sure looking forward to more games like this... Great job. Although I didn't really try that avenue, talking to mantis before the fight, the only time I did I died, then just  went for the fight without talking and I missed this game bit and found a earlier ending... Great game though, defenetly worth the purchace.

@102, I don't think you've made the game unwinnable. Strength doesn't have to do with how much damage you deal  but it has more to do with efficiency, not melee damage. @98, having the same problem. I'm mostly a tank, with a two-handed iron war hammer, but mantis scems to parry most of my attacks, that, plus he attacks me more than once as well. The only thing I can think of is that I don't have enough speed to dodge his attacks.Edit: managed  to beat mantis.   speed didn't matter much in the end. I think I have 1 or 2 of speed at most. Spoilers ahead,If you have a weapon with sweep, use that as your starting weapon. Attack him for about  two or so terns, and when youu hear sweep ready, use it, this will let you attack twice more without him attacking you in return. In my case, I used the iron halberd. Note, heal to max halth with bandages, or any good healing item after each pause of mantis. When his other warriors immerge when mantis starts to retreet; this is the final round, switch to your most powerful weapon, in my case, the iron war hammer. I mannaged to kill mantis by attcking him about two times with the war hammer, and then using the slam combat action, after which He died after one more blow.

Great work on adding voiceover support. Loving the game. One improvement that could be made is that when fighting, when you get hit, it says, you -2 for example, but when you hit the enemy it doesn't say it, so you have to check the enemie's health bar constantly. Apart from that miner improvement, I feel its a great game.

@ deathstar, even if its a small thing, it in no way does it excuse this guy's abuse of power; at all. People might say, oh, it doesn't really matter because, ya know, its a small place. The truth of the matter though; is that, even if it was a comunity with just say 20 people, that's no excuse for abuse of power. Neither is it right when there are a couple admins, for you to take the entire job on your shoulders; its not a one man job, after-all. If he's abusing his power, no matter if its a small comunity, remove him from admin,  he's not built for this. Ferthermore, this is how it begins. With people not caring that the guy is abusing his powers as an admin because its a small place or community, later on in life, and with larger comunities, the same behavior of not caring will be seen if nothing is done. That, and the fact people turn a blind eye, pun intended; to this guy's abuse of power... he's getting the message that he can do anything and get away with it; and this will keep on happening, especially later in life, if a stop isn't put to his behavier.

While I didn't pay to get stuff in this game, I do believe that if the game goes down, the people who payed should be refunded or something. I mean, it sucks that you pay for something, and the next thing you know, what you payed for is gone. Its kind of getting ripped off, in a way. If the game does die and gets taken down, the people who payed should atleast get something for it. I mean, they payed to help support the game, maintain the server... I dunno really; but people who invested money in this game are going to feel ripped off if it goes down.

Here is the thing though. To the best of my knowledge, this game was or is, open source. Assuming this is so and if this game doesn't have stolen code, the game is not on any grounds to be band. The guy, however, is, as he's breaking the rule that when his account got band permanently, he is trying to get into this forum.

I think something is wrong with the newest version. I downloaded it, and when I launch it, it says update request error. Invalid network address has been found, would you like to download it? If I press yes, it just says that it downloaded, its in the directory, and I just have to unzip, but when I check the directory, nothing new is there to unzip. If I press no, and try to connect, it just says server unreachable. This was with the version that the link in the first post takes you too. Anyone else having this problem?
