It's not all about the rewards anyway, they are simply fun, and sitting on ranger island or on the roof near the railroad tracks with a sniper rifle is a hell of a good time.Also, bows are hella useful outside of missions, and I find simply surviving to be the most enjoyable part of Swamp anyway, not missions. Having a powerful, quiet ranged weapon is always useful for avoiding swarms while gathering equipment or helping other players. I can run 200s, any warehouse, any day, without a mouse. Can I do PVP? No, nor do I want to. Can I do snipers? No, nor do I want to because the rewards for it our crap. You can certainly do everything that actually matters in the game without a mouse, I am a living example. I don’t suck, either. I did a 200 at around level 108, maybe 109. Every level since then has been earned by me running. A mouse wouldn’t allow you to solo earlier, you simply won’t have enough points. As for maneuvering, again, I highly disagree. I go in diagonals all the time, and it works out just fine. As for using bows, please. There are very few people who use bows on missions, even even fewer for PVP. Those are essentially a joke, unless you have the crossbow, and even then it’s not much better. I don't use a mouse with swamp, mainly because i've tried it and my mouse has always been too sentsitive, even if i set the mouse sentsativity to lowest or highest in swamp, can i edit how sensitive the mouse is over all in windows, without swamp trying to modify it itself? I would probably play more with it if one little tap wouldn't turn me a full 360. I use the wireless mouse that came with my 10 dollars wireless keyboard, they both get the job done, along with the free mouse pad I got from them.I do how ever use my trackpad where I don't have the mouse because I still have a huge touch area and 2 phisical buttons bellow it, so I am lucky in that department, some times I aim faster with this thing than the mouse.The only problem I have is that the clicks can lock themselves if I keep them pressed for long enough, but that is easy to fix and might be because my laptop got enough abuse. They've gone to this one button model where the position of the finger at the time of the click determines which mouse button to actually emulate. That may very well be the cause of your problem, and it's why they're not really suitable for swamp. It's not just the set speed issue, it's that we can only turn in certain increments and even with sidestepping your still missing things.I did go 80 levels with no mouse however, so it's certainly fine to do and I'd say that it gets you about 85% of the experience that having a mouse does.I did it because I had no good desk/chair at the time, my trackpad sucked, and it'd been years since I'd used a mouse well anyway. I'll also say, the fluid aiming with a mouse whilst literally running rings around zombies can really make you feel like a badass as well, so if your planning on playing Swamp, I'd strongly suggest a mouse myself, even if it is possible to play without one. However, if your on a desktop, getting a mouse shouldn't be a problem, I don't use my mouse for anything besides games, and there aren't many of those, but still, since those few games that use the Mouse tend to be well worth playing, I don't mind the couple of quid necessary to buy one, or the tiny tiny amount of space necessary to keep one.
