You just have to guess, and trust me this is far from being enjoyable, unless I'm missing something. But I'm using an android and the game is not accessible. If you have some sight I'm sure it's playable though, but so far the game reminds me of diamond dash where guessing is your only option. I can get someone to help me create my profile, but otherwise no access to someone who have the game, meaning if I need any help, I need to explain to them what to do, and those are people who don't play games at all, so it'll be a huge challenge, if I don't know what exactly to do... So, in other words: I don't think I'll enjoy playing Pokemon go yet, when it's totally inaccessible with VOiceover. Yeah, I can maybe catch pokemons, but what's the point of this when I can't read my stats or anything in the game at all? Or am I missing anything? I mean, if you have to remember how many pokemons you have catched and you can't use any of the games functions at all using Voiceover and you don't have any sighted help from others who play the game, would there then be any poi nt of playing the game as a blind person? It always states that the pokemon are at the furthest possible difference away, so it's useless at the moment. I don't think it comes with any audio cues, though. You will know that there is a pokemon within range when you hear a sound like a clash of metal. It's hard to describe sounds. There is another feature within the game that allows you to track Pokemon, but I don't know of any way to use it without sight. To do their special moves you tap and hold until their charge meter is filled and then release. This takes some practice. When you beat the Pokemon, the next one will come out until you run out of HP, or until the gym runs out of Pokemon at which point, it will be lowered in prestige if it is an opposing team's gym, or increase the prestige if it is your own team's gym. I find that throwing on the last beat of the measure works. Also, if you learn the sounds they make you can determine if it is a flying type. Flying types you have to swipe higher for, non-flying types you release a little lower. Some Pokemon can slap the balls out of the air and it causes you to miss. Others like Zubats you have to time it so that their echo location doesn't pick up the ball as you throw it because it'll dodge.
