JFW uses it's home-made scripting language and NVDA uses Python.ZD, on the other hand has a Win32 interface, .NET interface, Java Interface and some interface which can allow Chrome Extensions to communicate directly with the screenreader.Some more recordings of me using ZDSR will come the next weekend, as my school year is coming to it's end, I need to work a little bit harder lol. Plus it's got graphics labeling and placemarkers which you still can't get in NVDA, meaning you need to pay 90 bucks per year for JAWS to get those things, and that's only if your in the US and have access to the home licensing program. For a one time fee of 140 USD with lifetime upgrades it's not so bad in comparison.I still wouldn't buy it yet my self,, the interface isn't fully translated, no braille support for any language but Chinese, and no English help. Also, it is missing remote support features, and the lack of addon support or fine grained customization is a significant downside. But again, with translation improvements and for less than 15% of the cost of JAWS home addition when bought outright, That's quite impressive to be getting 65% of the features of JAWS. Still, notepad was just one example, there are tons of them why I could not use the free version. They also say that the output of command line does not automatically read which is pretty important, as well as audio ducking support. I'm interested to know your favourite features. Even features that other screen readers that this just does better in. For example, it would be kick-ass if ZDSR was somehow less unresponsive when dealing with Epic Games Launcher or Rockstar Launcher and Social Club! I'm almost tempted to test this out just for that, as JAWS doesn't work even slightly better as I seem to remember someone saying.
