If you absolutly need version 25, get it from the official site, they have a hole bunch of past versions. So the mute button of your last device press tab one time and there's your sceen list, go up or down to change it, NVDA will tell you what sceen your on, same with sources, so tab one more time. I've looked at both the advanced audio properties and regular properties and there is no field labelled as gain. I even looked in Elgato Sound Capture. There is a box in advanced properties with the value set to 0. Is this the one maybe? Re: OBS Help, again! Make sure that you have the right amount of audio tracks enabled. Go to settings output advanced and recording. Also go to your audio and select your devices. You will not find your capture card there, I ama asuming your using elgato right? Enable audio monetering also. I had a similar issue and it was caused by trying to play the videos with foobar2000 which silently fails on some video formats. I am trying to capture my ps4 through the elgato to start with and will add a mic later down the line. monitoring seems to work when I turn it on, as volume and mute adjustments are immediately audible. But when I check the start recording box and then stop it later, the file with an appropriate length is created, but there's no audio when I lay it. Video I do know does work correctly since using OCR in OBS does show me the ps4 screen, so I'm going to assume it's capturing that atleast. Audio output on the ps4 is set to hdmi in linear pcm as it suggets on the elgato site. So far google hasn't been veryhelpful. Sound drivers are working, as I can get the game capture hd60s to capture audio and monitor though desktop audio. But when I try and start recording, I'm not getting any audio. OBS Help, again! So I just tried to make a test recording with OBS for a private stream I'm doing next week. Sound card is installed and working, but oddly, whether monitoring is on or off,I get audio through it wen I start up OBS. I tried to make a test recording to play around with levels and the like, but got no sound when I tried to play the file. I double checked video capture sources, and OCR confirms the ps4 is showing on screen at least. Seems like the problem is audio.. anyone have any thoughts? IS there something in Elgato Game Capture or Sound capture that needs changing?
