If you have gotten past the part ware you pick your starter manamon, what ever her name is i forgot wants you to to go to the cave of fates, you start on the left side on your house on some wood i think. go up and right and go up and get to the wall, the find a gap in it and you should be able to hear the cave if you keep going up. then wen that's over go back out, go threw the gap, and stick to the right wall, you will be on the left side of your house. ware you can go inside and get the next cut seen. I don't really see anything wrong with this, but then I'm not really a rhythm game player. Incidentally, there's a topic devoted to stuff like this in general game discussions. Perhaps we should leave this topic for actual bugs and game updates if they ever appear. Then if it has decent speed, I'll max that. If not, I'll usually max out hp. A Pandourbit is going to be slow even if you train speed, so after I'm done training strength, I focus on hp from about level 50 on. Sometimes you might want to play something that gets a couple of physical moves here and a couple of special moves there. In that case I split my training points evenly between strength and magic attack the whole way. As for the stat checker, what it tells you won't change for a particular mon regardless of what you train or how many points you spend. What it's telling you is the potential of each stat. Terribly underdeveloped speed simply means that speed will rise as you level that mon up and train, but not by as much as if it said remarkable. As for the life tonics and whatnot, whether you use those depends on if you like to grind up levels or not. I tend to spend time grinding up levels, so I rarely use these. If you're only going to gain a few training points, you're better off just getting the kills and leveling it up. On the other hand, grinding for hundreds of training points takes a while, so using these might be worth it in that case. Others will surely do things differently, but that's the way I do it. This is because the Manamon you capture are not going to have all the training points available to them. For example, if you catch a manamon that is level 5, it will not have all the training points available to it, because it did not start out at level 1. Also, use the stat checker. This will help you know which stats you should focus on traning, and can also be great for breeding, as often no 2 copies of the same manamon have the same stats.Another thing I do is if I know that a manamon who is very very slow and is probably not going to get much faster, I don't invest as many training points into speed. Same holds true for any other stats.You also need to take into account the Manamon's typing and try to figure out what moves it gets. If it gets a lot of physical moves but very few special based moves, it's probably a good idea to put more points into physical attack. I've made this mistake before, where I put points into magic attack, when my manamon doesn't even use it.Hope this helps. Mirron is even more of a pain to train up, as it mostly relies on copying/parroting your opponent's moves. I can also recommend Leafowl from this same area, it's plant/air, so it could replace your doving if you're not happy with it. Also takes a while to come into its own, but it's well worth it.The castle in shadow canyon has a manamon called Torchin, which is a great candidate to replace your flame starter with. The flame starter is not bad, but it only does flame damage with a side of standard. Flame and ghost is much better, especially because you get a same type attack bonus on your ghost moves as well.Minitaur is another great manamon which can be found in the main part of shadow canyon, and the other buildings that aren't inside the castle.It only gets good later on though, so only use this if you are patient. Below level 19, it's a real pain to train up.Limewurm is fun, but I wouldn't use both it and Turrubble. Turrubble can tank hits better, but doesn't even come close to Limewurm when it comes to attack power. Limewurm also is kind of annoying to train up though...You should definitely try out Elefrost and see what you think. It gets some truly amazing moves later on, though it's somewhat slow. Truth be told, I'm not sure what its early game moveset looks like. Those issues aren't done. I still have a lot of gripes with some of what Aaron has done, and how he has handled the things he didn't get right. Let's call a spade a spade. He has room to improve here.But there's some shit flying around in this thread that's patently ridiculous.1. Paladin doesn't need footstep sounds and it isn't going to get them. The game is, what, like six years old now? Older? The game is done. It was a nice run while it lasted, but just as its script won't ever be updated, and its obnoxious dragon strike scrolls won't ever change, it's best to just call it what it is. It's an earlier iteration of Aaron's dev cycle. It does some things right. It does some things really wrong. Get over it. Get past it. It's done.2. The Gate might be overpriced, but demanding that a game that had months or even years of effort sunk into it to be freeware because you don't like it is patently foolish. Quit it. Seriously.3. Aaron has definitely been better this time around than he was last time. I confess that I still find him more resistant than I'd like him to be on certain manamon balance issues, and that's not going anyplace. But he's also at least nominally willing to listen. Case and point: I emailed him the other day to talk about Calculade transforming, because I thought a bug might be afoot. It wasn't. I clarified this in the main thread in General Games, the 184-page monstrosity with all you could ever want (and then some) about the game in it. Aaron responded promptly and courteously. When I came back to him and told him that Thundron is crying out for Toxic Tail or Sludge Hammer instead of Toxic Storm, he said he'd look into it. He didn't argue. He didn't promise either, so I'm not holding my breath. But he was perfectly reasonable. And for the first month or so, he was around a lot, and he made some pretty big changes because players wanted him to. You know that teleport that appears in the postgame that makes it so you don't have to walk for three minutes each way in and out of Requia? You know how steel is now immune to poison and undead now simply resists it? You know how shadow is weak to poison again where it wasn't before? You know how ice now resists plant and insect? You know how some old manamon 1 moves are more accurate or damaging now, and some equipment (bone club, I'm looking at you) aren't god-awful anymore? Yeah, all that happened post release. So yes, there's still a ton of room for improvement, and I have my issues with the game and the dev both. But I think the sheer amount of mud-slinging in here is pretty excessive and needs to stop.4. As a final note, please, please, please do not take my example where I emailed Aaron and then bombard him with "I want new maps plz giv namamon new attax b/c ur not good dev u shouldn't charge so much for ur games" style emails. Unfortunately, the way some of you (not pointing fingers, and many who read this are absolutely not this way) comport yourselves here on the forum, I wouldn't put it past you to try it. Don't. You'll make things worse for the rest of us. If you do want to reach out, please do it courteously, and really, really think your suggestions through. Asking Aaron to give Banshreek Beyond Bolt is a good suggestion. Asking him to boost Sanctasoul's HP a little is a good suggestion. Asking him to make level-up herbs available for YGC credits is a good suggestion. Telling him that he needs to make all moves 100% accurate is not. Telling him that Ursinerator should get Flood and Superspark and Energy Pulse and oh yeah it should also have way higher special attack is not. Aaron knows what works and what doesn't, at least more than many players will. You wanting something doesn't mean it's a good idea by default. He does nothing for about 3 years after releasing a game and a few updates here and there. I think manamon1 got one freeking update, maybe a few more, but still. The gate? Still the original version. Those psycho strike updates he was promising us al those years ago with more content? Never happened. More features in AAC's stage creator? Nothing. Now the last one, AAC, i don't have so much problems with.It was his first project and a free one, and it did what it wanted to be very well. The reason I was so hesitant to buy this game, as fun as it sounded, was because I knew what aron's previous paterns were; he would release games, update them for a little while, and then shelf them and stay silent for a long time, even if there were bugs in the games which needed to be addressed. However, I noticed that manamon 2 was getting much more periodic updates than manamon 1 ever did, so I went ahead and bought the game. I played it once and enjoyed it, and will likely play it again. However, soon after I bought the game, I began to notice aron's old paterns setting in again. Now, fastforward to today. Once again, aron has suddenly vanished, without any indication where he is, or indeed what he is up to. I very much hoped that this would not be the case again, as manamon 2 was showing very positive signs that aron was actually changing his habits and was going to devote more atention to updating his projects. Now before any of you say that products don't last forever, I get that. I'm not expecting manamon 2 to last forever. Nothing can. WHat I am expecting is more professionalism on aron's part, whether that be giving us updates about what he's doing with his games, addressing bugs, etc. I think manamon 2 was honestly the last straw for me. Aron, if you are reading this, I want you to know that I think your games are fun, and I have enjoyed many hours of fun with both manamon and amamon 2. However, I cannot support a person who works on a project for a few months, shelves it, and never comes back to it again. I can't spend my money on someone who does not respond to people's emails of bug reports, or other related issues. I expect long-term support for products, and more professional customer support. Moves such as "Toxic spray" have been disabled for Ghost and Undead type manamon. For this reason, the power of low moves cannot be sufficiently compensated for by poison.2. I think it should be effective for Steel type like Manamon1. Steel type manamon is resistant to 13/20 types. And since the Steel type move is effective for Magic and Holy type, it can be differentiated from Fighting type. And "Acid rain" still damages Steel type manamon. What they do not do is increase the number of remaining UP for the move. You'll have to heal your manamon to see the boost, but it does work. In Essentials settings, under excluded files and locations enter the following line and click add.C:\Program Files (x86)\VGStorm.comIt should work in Windows Defender as well. If you installed Manamon 2 in a different place copy the address from the address bar in the place where you installed Manamon 2.I haven't checked to see if Manamon 2 was unblocked yet, because I don't wanna have to reinstall it.
