Hi guys,This sounds amazing, I have a few concerns/questions,1 I am spoiled, sorry its just the truth, please post a soundpack asap as available, I can't stand muds for very long without soundpakcs and muting of certain things such as the stupid hp announcements and things in the output, so I really want to play but I will with-hold until its available, as I won't get into it without these.2. Is their anything to do with mandalorians available? I mean asside from the show, which is pretty amazing, I always liked the mandalorian side stuff, and its been arround through a lot of the story.I can't wait to check this out, I already play d and d in real world and have a game I dm for about 12 hours a week, yes I said 12, and I've been wanting a game like that that was space related something like star finder, and while the alexa app is coming out soon with more content I really like the idea of this game.Keep working on it and let us know when theirs a soundpack please!

So I'm kinda meh on the light side powers. I know, peace and harmony and all that fun stuff. But honestly I'd rather just go grey all the way and take stuff that does damage and then healing. So I got a dilemma again when I snag my next token. I'm torn on if I want force prowess or battle strike. I'm tempted to respec, go heal/battle strike/prowess (so two healing powers yay) and then see what my fourth token will be.I mean Jedi Battlemaster gets ride/pilot/etc for skills and a whole crapload of stuff the dark side don't off the bat in templates. Admittedly I just took heal and three grey powers, but...I'm kind of missing an amazingly good AoE power. If anyone can sell me on respeccing to Sith and going with that and finding an IC reason for them to be in the Rebels (aside from my idea of him casting his lot in and eing all eff the empire, they screwed me over)...I'm all ears.I'm fairly sure it's also the stuff I'm fighting too, like heavy armor takes me down to 10-16 damage. Which given I'm a saber useer user /and/ they resist my force powers...not cool, man. Not cool. On the other hand. I love force heal in the middle of fights though.Spring attack is absolutely amazingly good. Even if I miss my opening attack I can usually get a spring attack or two in. I love it when enemies are too tired to fight, try disarming or tripping me, and get hit by it. That is absolutely amazing.them, which is amazingly useful and has saved my butt more than once

I do not know how to strip sounds from things like that. If you can get me sounds of decent quality, preferably not from the movies, that'd go a long way. As of right now I'm playing without sounds, but that's just because I don't exactly need them for much. I'll see if I can add some communications sounds and a health meter.    Also, if anybody can tell me how to force a new line using the add_new_line_to_prompt plugin that'd be great. I've no experience with regexp. My prompt gets frozen annoyingly, and I do not know how to fix it. I've just gagged it for now and made aliases to pull up the information.

Your damage is going to be purely based off of the diroll of the weapon and any additional damage or attacks provided by feats. If all you're doing is leveling, and upping your dex, you won't see much damage increase. You need to increase your base attack bonus for additional main hand attacks. They're capped at 4 off of base attack bonus, or BAB. If you get double attack or triple attack, you will get two extra attacks at a cost of tohit. If you can't hit anything, it doesn't really matter how may attacks you can do. You will want pin point accuracy, and precise shot, as well as the dual weapon feats, it goes dual weapons mastery I, II, III, and perfect. Perfect gives you an extra off hand attack, and the other three feats remove penalties from dual weapon fighting all together. tactical fighter will also improve your damage and tohit based on your base int score modifier.

Sodilemma. No matter how high my DEX/skills and feats and such are, I don't do more than 20 damage with an attack at level 10, no matter what and the quests I got have insanely tough foes to get through when I only do 1-2 damage a shot and have to whittle down their defenses.Sofew questions:1. So I've gotn jedi battlemaster as a class. What are some good force powers to pair with it? I'm using the training saber2. Is there any point to getting different ships...and how would I repair one?3. Is there a better class than jedi battlemaster?

In all fairness, Dex >>> Str for a lot of builds as a rule of thumb. Dex covers ranged weaponry for stat bonuses. As well, a feat allows you to convert the stat bonuses of some melee weapons into dex bonuses, allowing you to stack up on that stat for the myriad stuff it can do. Still though, Str is what's needed for heavy and large melee weapons when that does come up, and those have their own brutal examples. but from stealthy snipers to lightsaber wielding Jedi/sith, Dex is always prominant.

Changed my mind and decided to go force adept with a view to going sith apprentice/sith lord once I get the XP to unlock it really. Mostly since holy shit force storm is amazingly bullshit...but I freaking hate mobs that make me fail my checks. I went force marauder template this time, and am taking notes so I can respec into a custom class. Currently slogging away on the crime lord quest and hating those guards. Just die to my force powers already sheesh

The quests aren't completed. Whenever that happens you can send gicker a mail of what you were doing when it happened. It's also possible someone else might've crashed the server. When it happens it usually resets you back to a previous state. If you're lucky and saved recently, you'll still have your exp and credits, just be in a different room. As far as making scoundscoundrel work, it's also a matter of your stats. Make sure you're setting your stats, and selecting a race that meshes well. You want a race with dex bonuses. For me, I picked one that has both dex and int bonuses, and dropped my str, con, and wis stats to 8, pushing int and dex to 18. This is because it helps with crafting, as well as a feat that provides a hit bonus and damage bonus for each stack. If you're not really sure what you should be doing, try the smuggler template. It'll set you up with the dual wielding, and walk you through the feats that might help you. It's not optimal, but with a good race selected, it'll teach you the basics.

Okay so I'm kind of confused on this.I got to level 10. Got mails from the three factions. Decided eff it, going Rebels because it fits with my char's morals. So I get the mail that says ask Jicker for a faction change. Then I spy the quests are in so I do them, and after two, server crashed ()though not sure that's my doing), and now I'm a bit lost on what to do.On the other hand, respeccing is amazingly useful. I just wish I could go for a Rebel/Empire/pirate faction at chargen instead of being locked to freelance.So yeah. trying to combine two weapon types like that is a drain on feat points. Also not really compadable with builds that try to assure one style of combat allows for heavy gains.if double pistols aren't really connecting their shots, have you tried the following?* Do you have Point blank Shot?*Do you have any of the dual weapon skills to reduce dual wield penalties?* Do you have Weapon Focus: pistols for bonus hitroll?* Are you sticking to the recommended armor size category for your class? Dual builds use light armor.Yeah, I'm going to say this for Dungeon & Dragons systems. You tend to need to have a strict floorplan of needed skills and feats to not suck in combat. Then branch out into other ideas. Unfortunately, for both fantasy and Star Wars, dualwielding is really really feat heavy due to the penalties/then bonuses one can get with dual wielding feats.Currently have a dualwielding rabbit thing (forget the race's name) that uses sneak attacks and dual pistols just fine. Plan to take it all the way through a sneak attack path, so will branch into gunslinger then bounty hunter right after.

When you are on a quest that requires you to pick up items or what not, you'll automatically get them from the corpse, they're not items you can interact with. They'll show up when you check your inv though, and tell which quest they're associated with.

For more specifics, check our web site at http://d20mud.com/Connection info is mud.d20mud.com port 5500Here's the past week's changelog:- July 17, 2020 -    Added turret functionality for ships that have a turret.    turret operators can use the following commands when the ship they are in is piloted: scan, target, fire.    Fixed the checkcraft command, which was crashing us.    Fixed rsay when speaking another language, those who do not understand will no longer see the said text.    Added Amaran race and language.    Added radio command to talk to crew members or other ships in space with you.    Added text to skills command explaining an X beside a skill denotes it as a class skill.- July 20, 2020 -    Lowered credits cost to change artisan type via 'artisan change' command.    When changing artisan types with 'artisan change' command it will now transfer your old artisan skill value to the new one.    Added crew command to view status of crew members in your ship.    Increased the low level attack bonus and extended it to level 9 at a dminishing rate. New bonus = 10 - your character level.    Characters with ranks in sneak attack can begin a fight with a sneak attack if they succeed an opposed stealth vs. perception check against their opponent.- July 22, 2020 -    Clan system working again.    When toggling on screenreader, it will now automatically turn off automap, turn on brief mode and turn off combat messages where all attacks miss.    Added a preference flag to toggle on and off whether you want to see combat messages for missed attacks. Having combat output set as full overrides this.    The message instructing persons to check the help file for their new level stage (ie. help LEVEL1, help LEVEL5, etc.) now only displays once, if you have screenreader option toggled on.- July 23, 2020 -    Removed MXP tag for moving around with mouse clicking, when screen reader mode on.    Changed the 'artisan change' check to see if they have training in, or the feat in, the specified artisan type, instead of if they have skill ranks in it.    Added a random string check for installing ship components, with a warning on how much it will cost.

haha. The lightning sounds are some of my favorites. Still wonder what sort of machine makes those, since I read that a lot of electricity sounds Ben Burt used were from the props for the Frankenstein movie. If you managed to get those without any music, that's interesting. Every time Palpatine uses lightning there's always music or other sounds.As a side note... I wonder if Force lightning hurts to use. Having bolts of electricity coming out of your fingers sounds like it would be extremely painful.

I created an account and a character though I'm not sure how some things work yet. For a start, my combat was going fine, then suddenly it wasn't and I kept doing zero damage. I suspect my force buffs ran out. It'd also be nice to get a list of what abilities you actually have, rather than hav to look at all the ability lists, since at the moment even though I'm playing a template for ease factor, I'm not entirely sure what I can and can't do or how, EG I tried force heal but I think it's passive.From an access perspective, it might b helpful if the prompt had a little less information, or if you could customise the battle prompt a bit more. I like the way it shows you and foe andd lists condition with one word or letter, (I usually like my prompts set to hp percentages in dicu muds, but this way works too), however other info on the battle prompt like accs abil I'm not sure about and just takes up space. I've also noticed one or two occasions when information is displayed in columns rather than lists so that multiple numbered options are on each line, EG when setting character descriptions, though I'm not sure how much of this is in the game as I've only just started. I'll be interested to poke around and see what's going though. I decided to play a wookiee jedi for amusement value, though unfortunately from a stats perspective that was probably a less good idea since I didn't realise all jedi abilities are wisdom based, but never mind. I did have a background worked out for him which was fun. My char is thendaka if people are wondering.

Hey Kestos, I do remember you!Right now I am working on expanding the space system.  I've got turrets working now, and will be adding an engineering station where ship repairs, shield boosts, engine boosts, weapon boosts can be done.  That will lead into space mining, commodity/cargo hauling, and smuggling systems, and also into the ability to craft ship enhancements that are normally only obtained as a random drop from an NPC ship, and the ability for clans to build capital ships like corvettes and frigates.

Hi all,I just wanted to let you all know of a game I develop and run called d20MUD Star Wars.  As the name implies it is a Star Wars game that uses d20 rules (also SAGA edition rules which is very similar).  It is a text-based multiplayer called a MUD.  Likely you've heard about MUDs before, but if not, they are very much playable with a screen reader.Our game is completely free, and we're always looking for ways to enhance the text output so that it flows nicely with screen readers.The game is set during the Empire/Rebellion era, after the destruction of the first death star.  The game very much caters to role players, though you can still enjoy yourself if you're more into hack and slash game play.  There's not a whole lot of PvE, most people are focused on PvE content.  Of said content, we have an ever growing list of features.
