I'll have to check Amadeus out, since I've been a goldwave user for 4 years now.

Re: editing audio on mac

No, iseemusic courses aren't free, but they are well worth it. I would recommend transfering all the data including sounds etc. If your going to audio edit and compose etc, going back and forth between two machines is going to be... not fun.  As far as amadeus, it is just a audio editor, you cannot compose music there or use instruments, as far as I know, you would need reaper for that or protools if you wanted a program where you have the option to compose or edit in one program, both of those have that option. Amadeus is just like goldwave in the sence that its mainly a audio editor. By the way, to the one that was looking to buy usb to usbc adaptors for the mac, check these out,https://www.amazon.com/Syntech-Adapter- … B07CVX3516

Re: editing audio on mac

Yo everyone. So my mac just arrived now, the disadvantage is that it no longer comes with standard USB ports but just 2 USBC ports. I'm trying to buy the thing a new adapter so I can pass all my info and pretty much everithing else from my hard drive, but as I told you guys before I have plenty of info on my old pc.Do you guys recommend me to keep sounds and all that fancy stuff on the hd and just use documents here? Or should I copy all the things down to the pc. I don't think I'm gonna copy music as I have spotify however, but I guess it'll come in handy xd.

Re: editing audio on mac

Reaper works on mac however I don't use it myself. I think the thing that might come closer to goldwave would be amadeus pro. Actually, if you go to iseemusic.com, they teach courses for blind, I think I saw reaper for mac there, but you would have to check if your planning on going with reaper.
